I refuse to kill. While that doesn't always describe what a villain is, it does constitute bringing about unnecessary violence. If i were to ever harm someone, it wouldn't ever be needlessly. Even just thinking it, that didn't strike him as a completely true thought. As for being a hero... Drew stopped momentarily. A vague image cropped up in his minds eye of exactly why, but he didn't want to dwell on it. I question my ability to not do more harm than good.
"Got it!" Riding up to place himself between the bullets and Darktail, The Knight withdrew his Tower Shield, using it as a barrier along with his armor and the Iron War Horse.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillThe pacifist is as surely a traitor to his country and to humanity as is the most brutal wrongdoer. Theodore Roosevelt. I don't think this is non-violence and pacifism, I don't think belief in that is the root of your impotence. You're afraid of your own power, I understand. Carl remembered the first time he telepathically contacted the wife. The couch was not warm. I've suffered the same before, and... I can help. I want you to show up tonight, and stand with the other heroes of the city to fight the monster.
Together with the police, Vigil and Doll arrived at the scene. The masked hero left Doll on the side of the road only a about fifty meters from the actions before it took off running once again.
After the bullets stopped raining on the Knight's shield, Vigil took the chance to run at it and leap while aiming to land in a kick on it.
What would that accomplish? Drew replied somewhat angrily. I have justified reason. I know what i can do with this power, and the only way to keep it from happening again is to keep away from that road.
The Knight took a portion of the actual kick, moving forwards to dodge some of it. What he did catch, though, hurt. The Tower Shield could only withstand so many hits like that, even less if full-force.
Drawing his longsword, The Knight turned the Iron War Horse around to face Vigil once more.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillThe armored hero strafed around Motorpocalypse as he made his way closer to the mechanical supervillain. Making an abrupt stop, the knight hurled his second spear with great strength towards the joints connecting his opponent's machine gun to his arm. "Enough!"
"Hold it!" Muse fired off a pair of concussive blasts towards the man, but he quickly evaded. Dashing towards the biker-dressed villainess, he reached towards his belt for a small cylinder... which immediately expanded into yet a third spear. Tip aimed right for her chest, he charged forward.
Doll ran behind Vigil, quickly making it onto the scene and stopping near the back of the truck, standing over Darktail.
"Hi again."
Because he had yet to take action this morning (noon? time is so confusing sometimes), the Thespian sent out a message to Mimic.
While it may be pouring outside, there is no raincheck to the activities of New Radio City: there is an object looking to be stolen by a certain feline thief, with an armored knight serving as her guard. Vigil and the immortal child have also arrived on the scene; take your weapon in hand and cause that mayhem you love so dearly.
"Huh." The policeman Henri had nearly bumped into looked up, squinting at the light. "That was quick." The thunder and lightning had stopped, though the rain still poured. Over by the south, the massive cluster of clouds still remained, although they no longer crackled with lightning.
Henri took his chances and went to the nearest secluded corner. With a gesture, the bracelet on his right arm came to life, the circuit-like patterns running across it blazing with green light. In the wake of the alien luminescence, the wet walls glimmered a faint green.
"Chevalier System, Tech Up!"
The bracelet split apart, then reformed piece by piece around Henri in the form of the Steel Chevalier suit.
The policemen were shocked when the Steel Chevalier, seemingly out of nowhere, leapt over the barricade and ran down the street. He ignored them, even as several pulled out their guns and trained their sights on him. They probably wouldn't fire on him anyway. Right now, his concern was to make it to where the lightning struck.
Anti-gravity boots flaring to life, he ran up a building, leapt across, landed on the nearest rooftop and kept on going. He dodged a low-lying antenna, ran across a balcony and jumped towards a railing, grabbing on with one hand. Impractical though his route was, the Steel Chevalier figured there was no reason to not have fun while he could.
It didn't take him long to see where the lightning had apparently struck. There was a deep pit in the road, big enough to be seen from above. And yet, the hole was too deep to have been made by lightning. There were no scorched areas, no smell of burning rock.
A quick switch to night-vision later, and he could see the beginnings of a tunnel. The edges around the hole were rough and jagged, with a small slope leading to the tunnel entrance proper. It looked large enough to let a man through.
"Okay. So do I go down or do I wait for back-up?"
His question was quickly answered by the wail of sirens. Police cars began to pull up beside the hole, their passengers disembarking with guns drawn.
The Steel Chevalier jumped into the hole and ducked into the tunnel. Wherever it would lead him, it was probably better than being found by the law.

"Stealing is a crime and drugs is a crime too BUT if you steal drugs the two crimes cancel out and it’s like basically doing a good."After parting with Drew, Sophie managed to find where she'd hidden her things and headed back to the hotel. Once there, she immediately showered and switched back to plainclothes. She checked her phone, noticing a message from Justin. She texted him back, and also messaged Uncle Ben.
" you guys don't need to worry about me! sorry bout the storm though... wasn't really my fault, but i was part of it. i'll explain what happened later, i promise!!! <3"
She put her phone away and headed out again. Maybe she'd go get something to eat somewhere... Maybe she'd run into someone on the way. She popped in her earbuds so she could listen to music on her iPod... She admittedly was a fan of a lot of the mainstream pop.
Justin looked at his phone as he received a message from Sophie.
Lord, what had that girl been up to?
He pondered heading out and figuring out just what exactly happened... But perhaps it would be better to stay low for now.
“DAMMIT WHEN I HEAR 'SPACE CQC' ALL I CAN THINK OF IS BIG BOSS WITH A FISHBOWL ON HIS HEAD, STRANGLING AN ASTRONAUT OUTSIDE THE ISS."I expect this post will cause a lot of uproar. I'm perfectly willing to redact or remove it, but my stance is that since Sanguis is not a player character, autohitting and attempted murder are allowed.
Also, neither I nor Cot like the word 'heshe'.
Cot's vision went red at the man's words. She stepped quickly into Sanguis' reach, grabbing his wrist with much more force and determination than Anders had. With a brutal squeeze, she directed thermal energy deep into his veins and tendons, aiming to boil them from the inside out. Taking another step in, she pounded his chest and stomach with punches, sending bursts of radiation into his organs. She grabbed the man's helmet and dragged his head down to her level, ignoring the edges of his eyepieces biting into the pads of her thumbs.
"Don't you ever say that to me!" she shouted, almost unable to see through the mist of tears in her eyes. She threw Sanguis' head back, pushing him away from her. "Don't!" Another another flurry of punches. "You!" A kick to his armored midsection, ignoring the snap of bone as her little toe hit the edge of his suit. Stumbling a little, she knelt on Sanguis' chest, planting her hands on his face. "Ever!" With a scream of rage, she let everything she had left blast into his helmet.

It's been fun.Meanwhile...
"Yes. Yes, I understand perfectly. Thank you. Just give me... oh, two days to get ready would be fine, right? Excellent. I need time to transport the beast and hide it, after all. Alright. Thank you. Goodbye."
With a flick of his fingers, the Tuxedo snapped the cellphone shut and swiveled his chair to face the massive screens hanging off the wall. He had to admit: this old conference room made for a good lair. There was enough space for a meeting table, a few chairs, the aforementioned screens, and a water cooler.
Smart man, he thought, thinking of whoever had used this building before. to use an old building like this. The hallways were dusty and devoid of ornamentation, and the rebuilt elevator had an unfortunate tendency to shudder every time it was used. And yet as the Tuxedo stepped onto the floor of the warehouse, dirty and barren save for his black automobile, he had to admit turning a buried office into a lair was an impressive feat.
"Werge, Cavian," he said, "ready the car."
"What are we doing today?" Cavian said.
"Picking up something important," the Tuxedo said, strapping himself in. "Something I want, for a change."

"Stealing is a crime and drugs is a crime too BUT if you steal drugs the two crimes cancel out and it’s like basically doing a good."this is a tad grusome.
Along with burning Sanquis's insides, the heat started melting his suit as well. Sanquis's only reply was to scream in angony as he fell to the ground. The burning had opened holes in his skin and head that some of the melted rubber went into. The remaining thug dicided to ignore Faceplant and grab his boss.

The Thug quickly grabbed Sanguis and ran down the sewer looking for an exit leaving the supers bihind. Ignoring the pain he felt from the melted rubber.
Back at Gravitas's base the Guards with Black Rose were getting ready to jump on him and restain him. He had just put one of them in a head lock and the other guards in the room were going to jump on him.

Mimic had just donned his chainmail and leather (Something like this)
◊ when he received Ial's message. The truck incident sounded fun, so he picked up his longbow and quiver of arrows, and set out.
Positioning the Tower Shield between himself and keeping his longsword close to his body, The Knight drove towards Vigil.
Most of his research done, Benjamin was taking a small break, reading a novel he had pulled off the shelf nearby with slight interest. When he got the text from Sophie, he replied: The suspense... It kills me! Anyway, almost done here, taking a break now. I'll be around the hotel later. "You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank Hill
The super was mere inches from stabbing right through Muse before his arm was snagged by Motorpocalypse's grappling hook, being pulled in like a fish caught on a line. Planting his feet on the ground, he lunged forward with the rope. As the flames met his armor, his lip grimaced and the hero let out an annoyed growl before thrusting his spear through the fire, aiming for Motorpocalypse's chest.
With the hero and her partner fighting so close together, Muse couldn't take a shot without risking a hit on the mechanical villain. Using her hacker headband and her radio earring, she sent out a signal to her motorcycle at home to get a move on over here.
"If art isn't your thing," Cassandra said, inserting herself between the detective and guy as the former whispered to the latter, "We could always go out to get lunch while we decide on what else we can do to for the rest of the day."
James jumped a bit at Cassandra suddenly joining the conversation and took a second to gather himself. "I, er, well... lunch sounds good," he replied sheepishly.
"I try not to kick people while they're down."
At least, if I wasn't the one to put them there in the first place.
"That being said..."
As Darktail jumped into the armored truck, Doll made a grab for her wrist, trying to yank the villainess out.
On the rooftops of the buildings nearby, a figure in black watched what happened, standing underneath a water tower to take cover from the rain.
As sure as her thoughts predicted, Sophie did run into someone. Specifically, she ran into a college-age girl as she turned the corner of the sidewalk, bumping heads.
"Ow." The blonde with short curly hair rubbed her head before throwing her light blue hoodie back over it. "Sorry 'bout that; wasn't watching where I was going."
Captain Zeppelin was having eating lunch, when the alarm in the Zeppelin sounded off. He quickly got up and made his way to the control room. A small human size unidentified flying object had been picked up on the radar. Captain Zeppelin got to the main control panel, and elevated the zeppelin above the rain clouds.
The quote was rather hyperbolic but it gets the point across. said Carl after a brief silence. I believe that pacifism is not the root cause of your lack of fighting, so to speak. You lost someone, and blame yourself? Tell me, why are you at fault?
Motorpocalypse saw the spear coming and yanked on the line; being only on one arm, he used it to spin around and slide past Cavalry, while keeping his flamethrower trained on the hero. He took a short hop back, then detached his grappling hook and reached up to THE BOX. He flipped the lever, and a beer bottle went rocketing out straight for Cavalry's head.

Scan continued his search for the Zeppelin, though he thought he had heard something. He looked for the source of the sound to find... a cloud?
Scan looked at the cloud suspiciously, as he contemplated the situation.
Wizard Needs Food BadlyDrew was silent for several seconds. He was curious as to just how much The Psych knew about him at this moment. If The Thespian had sent him, it could very well mean he knew alot about him already. In which case, allowing him to dig through his mind wouldn't actually do much, except help Drew make his point.
Slowly, he became less defensive, less panicked, retreating to a slow rhythm in breathing while letting the rain pelt down on him. In as calm a though as he could make, he replied, Because only i can be responsible for it. He wasn't sure if he actually was opening up his mind to The Psych, but he wasn't trying to keep him out, which was a start.
Let's crack this safe open. Wide open. The Psych's free to dig around for what he needs to find.

"A partnership, of sorts. You want a distraction? Fine. A decoy? Fine too. As long as i get in on the action.", The Knight replied. "Now hurry up and grab what you came for, i'll get us out of here."
Because i can't be either. I can't be a villain. I can't be a hero. Simple., Drew thought.
