A Positive "Problem Solverz" Thread

This is a thread for talking about the positive things about The Problem Solverz. The last TPS thread got locked for obvious reasons. How about we who like this show start with a clean slate?

So who's your favorite character?

Thanks for making this thread. After the last one got locked, I started to think that talking about the show would become a banned topic or something. Anyway, my favorite character is Roba. He's really cute and his rap in last week's episode was awesome. I find all of the characters likable, though.

I think "Breakfast Warz" was the most random episode they've done yet, but it was still funny. I mean, a giant rainbow fish wearing a graduation cap having a battle with a mom in a mecha suit? I really hope this show gets another season.

[up] No problem, it pissed me off that the thread was supposed to be about talking about the show in general, when in reality it just became a post war between the haters and the defenders. I'm glad it was locked, because that thread was definitely getting out of control. I'm glad to see some more TBS fans, and I've noticed that more people have started to like this show even a little after actually watching it.

Anyway, Roba's my favorite too. You just gotta love how adorkable he is. What do you think of Katrina Rad? People seem to really hate her from what Ive seen on Deviant ART.

[up][up]I thought she was a really funny character. You gotta love yanderes. I also couldn't help noticing that, with the exception of "Hide and Seek Ninjaz", every female character seen so far has turned out to be a villain.

[up]You're entitled to your opinion, but this is a positive thread. Some people do like the show, and it'd be nice if this thread didn't derail like the last one.

A thread that tries to force everyone to express only positive opinions on something should be as looked down as one that doesn't allow anything but expressions of negativity. Otherwise it's just a double standard.

[up] It isn't forcing anyone to do anything. It's just a thread created for positive opinions on a certain subject. The other TPS thread wasn't created for negativity at all if thats what you're suggesting. It was just to talk about the show in general, yet it got out of control. I only made this thread for those that want to express positivity toward the show and want to have a civilized conversation on it.

Hear me out, if anyone dislikes this show, then please refrain from posting negative comments about it here. I'm just asking a favor here of the haters, to please not hate on this thread fo the sake of respect.

Anyway, about Katrina, I agree. I actually kind of liked her, yanderes are awesome. Her obsession was pretty creepy, and she ended up going to prison, but I kind of feel bad for her. Just a tiny bit.

Let the conversation flow naturally without any derails. Forcing positivity is just as bad as forcing negativity.

Wow, after seeing today's episode, it's like they knew the show would have a huge hatedom.

"Aw, man! Another negative post about us on the Internet!"

Interesting way to end the season/series, though.

[up] Even though I strongly dislike Problem Solverz, I have to admit, that was a pretty clever reference.

[up][up] I couldn't see the episode today, but that's a pretty awesome line xD So that was the last episode of the season, right? I keep hearing people saying it's getting canceled or whatever, but I won't believe it until there's official proof. I'm going to celebrate if there's actually a second season.

This is a pretty common argument and it's also pretty bullshit. Nobody is being "forced" to express positive opinions, since you can just not post in the thread. You're trying to say that it's unfair to treat negativity negatively. That's nonsense. It's fair, logical, reasonable and justifiable in every conceivable way.

I like the show's surrealism. Its mostly hated because of its art style which is slight justifiable. The show tries to cram a lot into 12 minutes. The stories are pretty original as is the character designs. I fell like im watching what would happen if you put skittles and the 80's in a blender then poured it on your face.

....Why

One last thing about the supposed "forcing" of positivity: this thread wasn't created to make the haters say something nice about The Problem Solverz, if that's what anyone thought. It's just a place for people who like the show to be able to discuss it without having to see post after post of "this sucks." That's all I'm going to say on this.

On the subject of The Problem Solverz, reruns are scheduled to air next week and the week after. Cartoon Network tends to remove all traces of a show once they've ended, so there may still be hope for another season.

It's weird. I really don't like the art style, and haven't watched more than the five minute preview clip, but...

I can't really hate the show. It sounds like the writing can be clever enough. I don't really want to watch it, but I don't see the need to keep whining that it exists.

I'm really surprised that this thread isn't being attacked by trolls anything. When i made it, I had a feeling I was just going to get a bunch of hate posts, but I guess not xD I've also noticed that there's actually been a lot less hate on this show recently. I'm glad people are taking the time to actually watch this show and give honest opinions, that's a huge change from what it used to be like before the show even premiered. I hope that this show's microscopic fanbase grows over time :)

Nobody complains about the existence of positive threads for things they like, I've noticed.

Problem Solverz was an innocent attempt to create a cartoon with a visually unique style and quirky, dry humor. That's always a noble effort, even when it fails. It was clearly hit-or-miss, but if it's a miss for you, who cares? Why heap loathing on it when you can just as easily not watch it? Is it not punishment enough for a show to be canceled after a few months?

[up] It's not like the show itself has feelings that can be hurt, and the creators, assuming they even read this at all, should develop a hide against criticism, even the harsh one. It comes with the territory. And it's not like anyone is personally insulting them or anything.

I'm not saying people are too harsh in criticizing Problem Solverz. I'm saying that people seem incapable of criticizing works of entertainment on message forums without nearly always coming across as petty crybabies butthurt that something different from their tastes has the audacity to be for even a moment.

There are shows I hate myself...and have virtually never seen a criticism of that didn't make the critic look like a moron to me. They always boil down to "BAWWWW! SOME KIND OF DIFFERENT THINGS EXISTS!"

[up] And many defenses often come as "BAWWWWW, SOME KIND OF DISLIKE FOR THIS THING I LIKE EXISTS! WHY DOES THIS`PEOPLE WHO DISLIKE WHAT I LIKE EXIST?"

So it always goes both ways, really.

[up]Sounds 100% fair to me! Complaints are the worthiest thing of all to complain about. Heaping venom on a creative work is usually stupid and unjustified. Getting pissed when someone does so to something you enjoy is extremely reasonable and appropriate. Hell, as I just mentioned, i get pissed when people do it to things that even I can't stand.

[up] Both extremes are bad. Both heaping venom and trying to cover your ears and shout La-La-La-I-won't-listen-to-the-flaws are equally unhealthy things. And of course, either side trying to deny the other to express themselves is just as bad.

[up]Again, I'll respect people's right to complain about cartoons when they do so without sounding stupid, which is phenomenally rare.
