Mario suffering in the Ghost Portrificationizer always amused me more than it should have.
It's like the real reward for beating the game.
Captain Toad getting VR'd and the update is out now
Japanese Nintendo Switch Online members get full access to Captain Toad between August 1st and August 11th.
And in financials, Mario Maker 2 sold 2.42 million in 2 days and MK 8 DX was the only other million seller for Nintendo at 1.2 million for the quarter ending June 30th.

According to an interview in the Japanese Mario 64 strategy guide Mario being from Brooklyn was canon at least up to Mario 64! My best guess is he was born in the Mushroom Kingdom but raised outside it cause Bowser.
"I noticed that Mario speaks with an Italian accent in this game."
Miyamoto: There’s no particularly detailed background or anything, but yeah, it’s a given that Mario is an Italian-American from Brooklyn, New York. That voice was actually done by a professional voice actor. He did Mario’s voice five or six years ago, at a video game event. By the way, Mario talks a lot more in the American version of Mario 64. He says “Okie Dokie!” and more. Peach also speaks. We had more time before the American release, so we improved the game.

WOO, DOCTOR DAISY IS IN!
"hi doctor im here to see if theres anything that can be done about my hyper sensitive heari-"
"HI I'M DAISY"
"Now your hearing isn't sensitive at all, quite the opposite. That'll be $4000."
I'd believe her screaming Nintendo before that.
She'll send you there.
A remix of the classic Super Mario Bros. Ground Theme has been datamined from, of all places, the Trial Version of Dino Crisis 2.
A fun comic I made for fans of Sonic, Mario, and their movie counterparts. Enjoy!
Rosalina has a weirdly deep line of "No battles are more intense than those we fight within ourselves" in Mario Party. That's not a spinoff you would think would have depth.
It IS however a spin-off you'd know that it would give a cliched line like that to a character like her...
I figured something more fluffy for a Mario Party spinoff. By Mario standards, that line is unusually somber. It's surprising that they even referenced her backstory at all.
Rosalina feels a lot like a character from one of those artsy indie games that explores the hero's psyche wandered into the Mario setting, a lot like how Ruined Dragon is a Skyrim or Dark Souls dragon that randomly showed up with Bowser.
Guess who's back? Back again? Wart is back! Tell a friend!
Doogie Howser is gonna be added to "Dr. Mario World" on September 5th at 2 AM PT.
Oh man, the prophecy is finally coming true.◊
Was that a crayon?
I told my brother about this and we got into an argument over who you'd want to be your doctor less, Professor E. Gadd, or Dr Crygor.
Neither one is a medical doctor, but I guess Dr. Crygor is closer to knowing about biology given his metal prosthetics and the time he fused himself with an apple.
Gadd is just a paranormal researcher and miscellaneous inventor.
If you're dealing with paranormal activity, pollution, or are a caffeine junkie, E. Gadd's your man.
40 minute Nintendo Direct on the 4th at 3 pm PDT.

And here's Dr. Baby Weegee.
His emblem looks like Daisy's broach.
