Dragon's Crown is getting an HD remaster for the PS 4 in January (in Japan, but I'm sure it'll get localized), under the title Dragon's Crown Pro. Will feature cross-play between the PS 3 and Vita version. Trailer here. It may be hard to tell, but there are improvements to the graphics, though a lot of it is brightening the environment and sharpening the images and animations. Since there's cross-play, I doubt there will be anything added to the game (like new quests) aside from the graphical touch-ups.
Even though I already have this game on the PS 3 and Vita, I'm still definitely looking forward to this one. I'm surprised they hadn't done a PS 4 port of Muramasa Rebirth yet.

Not sure if I want to double dip but I did enjoy the PS 3 version immensely.
I don't suppose this is a prelude to the director's next project, is it?

I haven't played before, but I'll be buying the PS 4 version.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.They're already working on their next project, Aegis Rim, which hasn't released yet.
They're never gonna port/remake Princess Crown, right?
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Nice. I've had a hankering to replay Dragon's Crown ever since my cart got stolen along with my Vita.

Saturn games are notoriously difficult to port. Vanillaware probably doesn't think it's worth the effort.
Not Three Laws compliant.Princess Crown had a PSP port though!
...but it was trash, so I guess that's where they learned their lesson not to port from Saturn anymore.
Remake plez.

There's a few copies of it, both new and used, at my local GameStop, so I'd like to assume that's the case elsewhere, but that's a bad generalization to make. I don't imagine it'd be too hard to find, though.
