So I must be getting old because I JUST realized that I can watch cartoons from other countries on the internet...

This is sort of stemming from the Almost Naked Animals thread where I found out about Spliced and have been happily watching that between chapter reviews.

I'm going to be using these to decompress my brain after studying for my Mycology and Molecular Diagnostics exams so I have a few requirements:

English language - no subtitles... Im going to be reading heavy subject material and don't want to have to look at words any more than I have to! Available on Internet - Full episodes available to North American users. No Anime - oh sure, it's from another country but I already watch enough of that as it is!

I'm also open to anything else interesting of course... unaired pilots that might be good? I just need something to watch and my DVR is empty at the moment.

So yeah I hope this thread doesnt break any rules or anything. I'm relatively new here n'stuff. I did a brief search for similar topics but wasnt finding anything that this fit under. I could be wrong though.

So is this a topic for like European animation then?

There's a russian animated movie called The Magic Pony, which was dubbed into English by people whose names I can't remember, but at the time they were pretty big-name. It's pretty good. You should look it up.

Western style non-US produced animation was what I was looking for.

I know there is a TON of Canadian stuff that never makes it to the US market. I'm sure its the same for plenty of English speaking countries. Canada/UK/Australia/New Zealand/etc...

Just curious if anyone had recommendations for shows that might be available on You Tube or the like.

Even if you drop a few names I'm sure I can find places to watch them myself. Back to staring at Dimorphic fungi!

The "fun police" doesn't like it when you post torrents.

Also google these things to learn more about non-us animation

Nelvana, Bruno Bozzetto, Masters of Russian Animation and Bolex Brothers

Nocturna needs more love. An indiegogo attempt to raise funds for a distributor can be found here.

CITV (A UK childrens network) has a couple of decent cartoons like My Gold Fish is Evil which is honestly Better Than It Sounds, Planet Sketch is pretty Hit And Miss in terms of gag's but has one consitentely funny sketch in the form of some wannabe 9 year old rappers who brag about havng a piggy bank and borrowing there sister's tricycle. I also like there animated verson of Horrid Henry but woulden't cool it good per-say though you should search for some of the better episodes
