Ok what's going on with thread creating?

It's like every other time I try to start a new thread, I get this:

"Sorry, no new conversations can be created until XX:YY Pacific Time"

The time usually being a few minutes away, and yet it's annoying because it's out of the blue and I can't even recover what I typed up.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

There is a limit to the number of threads a new account can start in a particular time period.

How long is that time? My last thread was in 9:51 PM.

I'm sure you can understand why we aren't going to answer that, right?

Well it's intrusive when you think you make a thread and you lose all you typed.

If you hit the back button all your text should still be there.

That's the thing. I tried the back button and it still showed the message. Happened twice.

Copy it to a notepad file and save it. Then when the thread creation lock timer runs out, you can paste it and go.

Do I have to do that every time I make thread? It would be quite inconvenient.

I think it would be better to have the error message show as soon as I hit "new conversation" button so that one won't be caught unaware.

Please understand that the inconvenience is temporary and that this is just part of being new to the site.
