Wait why did they add red to his costume?
No idea, maybe to make him fit better? RED Hood, RED Robin, the red of the normal Robin; I guess red is gonna be the Bat-Family sidekick color.
Also, Batman Inc is still a thing, at least for a little while.
Personally don't like the red but whatever. Not the biggest problem here.
Don't at all like Babs as Batgirl and feeling like a bad person for hoping she gets shot again but oh well.
It seems like the new continuity does allow Dick to have been Batman, so that's good. Don't know why he decided to be Nightwing again, though.

"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."At least some explanations should come in the final issue of Flashpoint/the first issues of the new titles. And perhaps that's the way it should be, my fannish frothing at the mouth notwithstanding.
I know that Gail Simone, at least, actually cares about the fans a teensy, so she will offer some decent explanations in her Batgirl title if allowed, and won't just pretend Cass and Steph never existed, let alone all those years of Oracle.
No offense to Babs fans, but I'd rather Babs stay as Oracle. Oracle has over the years grown into a woman. Batgirl is just that— a girl. The Batgirl mantle is more suited to the younger, inexperienced members of the Batfam, like the Robin mantle. Seeing Babs go back to Batgirl is like seeing her be demoted. Hopefully Simone will explain what happened to Cass and Steph. Maybe Steph's former recuperation period in Africa will lead to her appearing in Batwing?

The Robin shown in the previews looked like Damian, so we know he's not gone.
I'm just glad all four human Lanterns are apparently surviving the reboot: Hal in GL and JLA, Guy in GLC and JLI, John in GLC, and Kyle in New Guardians.
And if it turns out to suck, that doesn't really affect me. Because I've got a copy of the DC Comics Encyclopedia from around the release of Identity Crisis and love it to pieces. Some people say that's the last time The DCU was good anyway.
And even if this doesn't turn out to suck, you know the fans will bitch anyway. I bet there are still people who haven't gotten over Ryan "DEY KILLD HIM CUZ HES ASIAN" Choi's death.

You gotta scroll down a bit, but DC's decided to give Jason Todd a series. Well, he's teaming up with Arsenal and Starfire, but he gets top billing. Based on the cover, I have a few thoughts.
A. Roy has his arm back. What about the daughter?
B. 20 bucks says Jason and Dick become Eskimo brothers. 10 if it's only because of everything that's happened in DC's continuity.

@Hamburger Time: It's been confirmed that Batman and Robin will have Damian as Robin, still. Though now Bruce is Batman.

Ok, JL Dark sounds fucking AWESOME. I am officially psyched for it. Though honestly, why do all these cool new ideas need a reboot for them to happen? :P
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!I have to admit, we could use more stories of Barbara as batgirl. It would just be extremely difficult given her importance as Oracle to the DCU. also, given the world that she lives in, you'd think her legs would be fixed by now.But then again… Ad long as they don't forget about the other characters, (Cassandra and Stephani) this just might work.
