I can understand Avatar being listed as anime, but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head which comes close without actually being anime.

@OP

Cause outside of maybe Avatar and Aeon Flux, American animated features are either for kids or animated sitcoms.

to your title; Wow that's fucking pathetic my leaves jammed your fan...?

I don't think I could underestimate western animation any harder if I tried.

[up]Not sure, but it's easy enough to warp that into "big clubs"...

According to a quick google search, it's a weapon from Exalted. Which doesn't make sense in this context, but then again making sense wasn't this person's strong point anyway.

Gross. A stain on otaku culture.

Considering the font used, I'd say the one who designed this shirt hadn't much credibilty to begin with anyways.

Technically, Japanese use the word "anime" for anything "animated" so all the above are anime in a literal sense.

Though I completely agree that those shows are not anime in the common Western use of the term.

[up][up] I have no idea what you are talking about. I did a search to find out who she is, but what does she have to do with this thread?

Seriously though, of all the fonts...

Madoka runes would've been a better choice. Or Midchildan.

What an incredibly petty shirt that is. I mean, it was probably meant as a good-hearted joke, but it came off as way to vicious to not make you look like a giant tool.
