Discussion of religion in the context of LGBTQ+ rights is only allowed in the LGBTQ+ Rights and Religion Thread
.
Discussion of religion in any other context is off topic in all of the "LGBTQ+ rights..." threads.
Attempting to bait others into bringing up religion is also not allowed.

Accidental or not, it is off-topic, and invites a religion derail.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Focus On The Family: It’s ‘Orwellian’ To Teach Kids That LGBT People Exist
They are misleading people with their name. They should be called "Focus on the Straight, Traditional, Christian, and Ideally White Family".
That too, thanks.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Has...has, "Orwellian," entered English vernacular? Because if so, I completely support it's new definition (If only because it's funny.)
"Ugh! This quiche is totally Orwellian, man!"
I kinda want to find the community and start hanging signs revealing the existence of the LGBT community. Hot damn, this is going to be way funner than spoiling the Santa thing...
Fire, air, water, earth...legend has it that when these four elements are gathered, they will form the fifth element...boron.![]()
Right, but it's not being used that way here. I like to imagine that it's going to be used by all the young hip kids in the same manner that, "Bogus," used to be used a few decades ago.
Quite. It literally blows my mind.

Smile for me!
I am repeatedly called a bigot because I don't hold that prejudice, such as homophobia, is something that people have a right to. Even the passive kind still causes negative feelings that have tangible consequences, such as mental illnesses and eventually as bad as suicide. Sure, one person considering homosexuality a sin is meaningless, but it's never just one person, and each one person contributes to a wide and great problem.
But, apparently I'm a bigot for thinking that!
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.

Truly we have made great strides in the past almost-60 years.
