Dalt's right about Imbue and Strike. As for Field, I think I mentioned this- It is default a one meter field, for quick shields and such. It can be charged to increase the range, and how fast that range changes depends on the person. Skilled users of Field magic can move the centerpoint as well, so you don't have to cast a shield over yourself every time you try to blow up a city block.
Does it do anything besides create an shield around you? Can bless magic do the same thing?

Anime geemu wo shinasai! Can I curse somebody with bad luck? Can I curse somebody with uncontrollable infatuation? Can I curse somebody with clinical depression? Phobias? Night terrors?
The only limit I'm aware of right now is that curses can't happen instantly. So, what determines how fast and how intense a curse is?

Anime geemu wo shinasai!I'm surprised none of you guys noticed there's a new player in sign-ups.
I was aware. There are actually two
signups, but I won't record them until they actually post in the RP thread.

Anime geemu wo shinasai! It's pretty much the limit of your imagination... Potentially. Magic isn't entirely instinctual, so you'll have to learn how to do these things.
Although most of those wouldn't be useful, since the time it would take for them to be effective would be more than long enough for someone to figure out a counterspell from Bless. The real skill in Curse is making it harder for them to fix whatever you do.
Justa: I noticed them, I'm just busy right now. I'll be getting to it.

What determines how fast a curse goes into effect? If you'd rather Aanki and Johann explain it, that's fine. It would be more verisimilarly satisfying that way.

Anime geemu wo shinasai!Hum. And thus.
JASOONNNNNNNNN PUNCH!!!!!
Anyway.
Hydrall, how much practice would it take for a Cast specialist to make Beam Spam a regular part of their repertoire? Homing Beam Spam? And also, can a magic-user implement elemental attacks into their spells?

Lech: yeah, you're accepted.
Kiri: Yes, did you notice the whole thing go down? The White Officer got ripped up, Jason punched one of the wolfmen to death... You got saved, basically. Although one of your saviors is kind of dying.
Aralyn: The Officer's still there, unless she dies. So you're safe for now.
Troy: I'm not sure how much training quantity-wise is necessary, but beam spam isn't too hard. It's making it accurate, powerful and not exhausting you in seconds that's the problem.

So, in case you couldn't tell, Clive likes his experiments. A lot. In this case, it's a comparison of the effects of a high-proof drink on a Cultist with the control, the known consequences of concentrated alcohol on normal humans.

GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire.

How is strike different than imbue? Field magic is basically like having aura powers, right, only it can't be used for buffs? Can you cast a field around another person? At a range of one meter, field doesn't sound like long-range cast magic.
