The next SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy DLC character will be revealed on October 25th. Does anyone have any idea who she could be? Also, other than Janne D'Arc, who's the other leaked character besides her and Skullomania again?
Mrs X I bet.
Their splitting the difference and letting you play as crossdressing Miss X and crossgender Miss X is kind of interesting
I suppose this technically makes Iori the first male character in Tag Team Frenzy?
Also, I lol'd when I saw the artwork for the alternate Kyo outfit. Iori is clearly unpleased. XD

Something interesting I found out while looking up the Voice Actress for Female!Miss X, Chisa Horii; She also voiced Aang in the Japanese Dub of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Female Iori being a Kyo fangirl albeit not by her choice? Fans who ship those two are gonna have a field day.
Miss X is the Ship Tease fans never knew they wanted.

Synopsis of an interview with Oda
> Fatal Fury
> Complex plot
Really. Fatal Fury isn't complex. Not even close to complex.
After BlazBlue, the one franchise that elevated a Fighting Game's plot to Metal Gear's levels of plot thickness, no Fighting Game story is ever complex. And Ed Boon has sure tried.

King of Fighters XIV is being considered for Nintendo Switch.
Now THIS looks like news.
The first King of Fighters game to come to a Nintendo console without being a retro port.
Then again, it makes you wonder why they even bothered with Gal Fighters in the first place. Seeing as XIV has nearly everything Gal Fighters has and more.

Probably to gauge interest and/or how the console would take to a spin-off using the same engine. It's not as if it was solely a Switch game either, despite all the trailers I've seen be about the Switch version.
From what I heard though, The PS 4 is considered the better version of SNK Heroines. Either way, they'll probably use that data to polish the Switch port of XIV if they follow through with it.
It feels to me that Oda is just being polite. Besides the technological limitations, Heroines on Switch sold had of what it did on PS 4.
The leak was legit
Wow. I first heard about World Heroes from the old Ultimate Video Rumble story.
Never expected any character from there to find their way into a modern SNK game. Go figure.

I admit it's cool seeing most of the rest of the roster drawn in a modern anime art style.
I always mix Jeanne and Charlotte up.
They showed up in NGBC, but that was still years ago.

Jeanne looks great! I hope we get more Gender Bending fighters though.

That trailer cut to Jeanne's dominatrix whipping move like four times it knows its audience on that one.
Since the thread is a more alive now.
Manga Productions, the Saudi Arabian anime company that teamed up with SNK to create Najd; is running a fanart contest in Twitter to celebrate Najd's creation.
I can't tell what are the bases or the prizes since I can't read arabic, but still, is a pretty great gesture from them, it shows commitment on their end with the character (even if is owned completely by SNK now)
The reception to the contest has been pretty positive from middle eastern fans, although the quality of the entries is widely variable.
This is just a sample of the entries, the rest can be seen at the #نجد_كملت_سنة tag.
She really is such a cool looking character! Bet she'd kick Rashid's ass.
I still haven't gotten XIV. It on sale anywhere...?
I did recently get Samurai Shodown VI though.
Unless is different on other countries, XIV should be on sale at Steam right now.
And yeah, Najd is awesome, shame she has been mostly unnoticed by the fans, when it comes to fanart and the like at least, she's consistently used on tournaments all around the world.

And so it is. As is all fourteen games on my wish list.
The thing that bugs me is that it has a "Steam Edition" for 33$, a "Deluxe Pack" for 41$, and an "Ultimate Pack for 51$ but nowhere next to those blurbs does it tell you what differentiates them.
Ah well. Snagged.
