This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Doesn't look to convincing to me, but I may be in the minority.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. The GIS picture I cropped that out from had a pretty distorted color scheme compared to the original image. I played around with color balance to make it slightly better now, and here's the result.

Am I the only one who thinks the new proposal just looks more Crazy Awesome than real Handicapped Badass? Just me.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Wow, Crazy Awesome is pictureless... I'd think that would be easy to find. If you think Mad Hamish is a good candidate, take a look at the rest of the Silver Horde

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.It only seems fitting for Crazy Awesome because it's so over-the-top that it makes you smile. And that is a perfect quality for a page image to have. And it's not like you could argue that it doesn't fit the bill – the guy is in a wheelchair, and he's still quite clearly going to fuck your shit up. He's even in an action pose. The Family Guy guy is in a wheelchair as well, but he just looks so dull compared to this. And holding a gun alone doesn't make you badass.
It's not immediately obvious that it's a wheelchair, but maybe it's obvious enough, I don't know.
I remember people trying to pick up an image for Crazy Awesome a while back. Maybe they decided to leave it imageless?

◊ from Samurai Jack. HE HAS A GUN FOR A PEG-LEG!
There was a movie that had a girl with a gun-leg. Grind House, was it?
Personally I like the Family Guy images the most. He just looks kind of calm about doing what he's doing, like you'd expect from a Badass. Being crazy is not the same as being Badass. Don't like the gun-leg images much either.
The baseball-playing looks to me more like a picture for a trope about handicapped people doing things they simply shouldn't be capable of. And his facial expression is so unhappy for some reason.
I guess I could possibly get behind the gun image, but I still much prefer the geriatric warrior.
With the Scotsman, the gun leg is a too minor detail of the giant character, and the picture also doesn't look terribly expressive. The gun leg girl is alright.

I like the Scotsman!
But then again, I'm biased to Samurai Jack. That and not only is he with a GUN for a peg-leg, but he's got a BFS.
Alright, thanks to Big T's thoughtfulness, we've got an issue. A few of the pics that are being considered in the crowner for Disabled Hottie don't fit that trope, but would work for this thread. So, without further ado:
I know only a couple of the Oracle pics will work, but I'm not where I can look at all of them to know which is which.

Discworld's Mad Hammish is best. The Family Guy is bland; holding a gun does noto a badass make. The Scottsman would be better if he were doing something with that gun leg. All but one of the Oracle pics either don't show her in action or are glamor pics. The one with the knife is better but than the others but not Mad Hammish. Shiba is a good alternative though.

So yeah, the current image just doesn't seem to that clearly show the handicap.
How about Joe Swanson from Family Guy?
If this trope refers to being "badass" specifically in more violent contexts, there's this
◊ image.
If it's open to "sports" contexts, could we use this?
