"To fan the flames of war is to burn the land away"All righty then, just wondering if I could use a three-man team, but I can work with just the one. I'll add a template soon.
Name: Rio
Species: Riolu.
Occupation: Explorer
Personality: Has one of the biggest ego's ever. Rio believes himself to be the strongest creature on earth, with even more potential to grow, transcending even the strongest legendaries. In truth, he's fairly average, although he can at least think quickly in battle - when he isn't completely convinced he can win.
Team: Team Destiny - Named because of Rio's belief that it is his destiny to become the greatest. Having a team with him is merely a formality.
Aim: To become the strongest Pokemon in existence.
Items/Equipment/Clothing: Rio wears a silver bangle on his left wrist, as his 'distinguishing feature'.
Moveset: Quick Attack, Foresight, Force Palm
Backstory: Rio's superiority complex comes from his early childhood, in which his older brother constantly defeated him in battle and gloated about it, claiming that Rio was among the weakest Pokemon. This enraged him to the point where he set out on his on to train rigorously for the day he could defeat his brother. As he travelled the region and grew in strength, Rio gradually grew into he mindset that he was destined for greatness and ultimate power. His brother pretty much forgotten about, Rio decided that the best way to grow stronger and become known was through a Rescue Team.
Other fun facts: Because of his beliefs, Rio tends to refuse to allow team members to help in any battles they encounter, confident that he can solo the entire mission. Naturally, he isn't much of a team player.

As said in OP, base evolution only, although you will get a chance to evolve in the actual thread. So, like the franchise, evolution is locked for now. Lets say those who start signing up at the guild are between Levels 10-15 and those already a team start at 20-25?
Don't worry too much about the moveset, unless it's overly busting powerful for that level, it's ok.

Well, I don't think any harm will come to me for signing up for this. And since this is connected to Black & White, I may as well use something new and interesting.
- Name: Check
- Species: Pawniard
- Occupation: Former Scout of a band of Mercenaries
- Personality: Check has absolutely no grasp on sarcasm, and tends to take any situation as both literal and serious, even if it seems ridiculous by regular standards. He believes that a hero is not defined by his actions, but by how willing he is to take those actions. He's also very humble, to the point where everything he accomplishes can be attributed to somebody other than himself. Takes orders extremely well; again, everything's literal and serious.
- Team: Whoever willingly accepts him. He'll probably be a part of Team Q, though...
- Aim: To reunite with his former comrades, and return to his old way of life.
- Items/Equipment/Clothing: A bloodstained black wristband with his mercenary team's insignia on it.
- Moveset: Scratch, Leer, Fury Cutter, Torment
- Backstory: From the day he was born, Check and his closest companions were mercenaries under the leadership of a powerful Bisharp. Following their leader's orders, they were able to provide decent food and shelter for themselves throughout their entire lives. But recently, his band was ambushed in the night, and it was quickly decided that weaker-than-most Check had to act as bait to assure that the needs of the majority were met. It was a miracle that he survived the encounter with only minor wounds, but without any idea where the people he'd spent his entire life with had retreated to, Check just kept wandering until he reached civilization. Perhaps if he could find a new group of people to adventure with, he could track down his loved ones again...
- Other fun facts: I was kinda inspired by Sosuke Sagara when writing this up...

Eventually, he decided to venture outside the dump. It was more out of curiosity than the notion that he'd find anything useful out there. And what he saw there sickened him. They threw away perfectly good things. Rotten food, broken machinery, all sorts of things that his family would have killed to have. And so he sought to teach them the values of saving their waste and garbage. It hasn't really worked. At all.
•Other fun facts: Theme song

(Yes, this is an RP for the new Pokemon Black and White franchise, forgive me for any spelling mistakes you see.)
This is a world of mystery, of secrets, full of marvellous creatures, all taking different shapes and sizes, different types and genders. All special in their own way. From so many regions, hundreds of these creatures fill the world. Welcome, to the world of Pokemon!
Here, Pokemon are sentient, they work with eachother, go against eachother, they can talk and run shops. Here, it is a world of secrets, of discovery. A world full of mystery.
What fills the corners of the map? What treasures lie across the world, lost and forgotten? What areas lay hidden among this world? Would you be able to take up these adventures?
All across the world, for years, Pokemon have been forming exploration teams in the company of eachother, wanting to discover, the curiosity and fire of adventure filling them. Some, do it for greed. Others, do it for their hearts, the fulfillment of adventure, the journey into the unkown!
To find these secrets, do discover, to adventure. They search the frequent 'mystery dungeons' that have been recently appearing, not only adventuring, but taking down ruinous outlaws and helping all Pokemon in need. It has only been recent that the 'mystery dungeons' have started cropping up again. 'Natural Disasters', as the Pokemon call them, have been hitting the world, perhaps a small tremor, perhaps an earthquake, perhaps a storm. They have been creating these new dungeons, to which the teams explore. More exploration teams set out on these ventures, less come back.
Filling the dungeons are Pokemon that have reverted back to their instincts out of either the panic of the dungeons, the disasters, or to simply survive. The exploration teams gain more Pokemon to help or arrest.
The disasters have been getting worse, the Pokemon say, rumours have been spreading that perhaps this isn't just natural as it was once thought to have been. Perhaps there has been an outside force, doing something, working whims with the world, perhaps not. More teams set out in search for the cause of this, only to come back fruitless. But did they miss something? Was there a clue left undiscovered? Did they give up? Where they defeated? Did they fail? Did they search everywhere, perhaps the answer lies in places undiscovered?
Could you step up to the task? Could you handle the ruffians and outlaws that have been gaining in number? Could you help the Pokemon in dire need? Could you get to the bottom of this mess and save the world? Could you be part of an exploration team?
Set in or near a town named Venture town, here, most Pokemon start off on their journey's. The town owning it's own guild for those who wish to train and for novices working their way from the bottom, Venture town being placed near a place called 'Shallow Beach' and owning it's own number of shops, a link store, a storage, a bank. A rock formation lies in the ocean, shaped like a shark's dorsal fin, they call it the Spearhead rock. The guild has been built underground, not in the side of a cliff like the famous Wigglytuff's, but literally underground. Teams and those who wish to signup for commission can enter via the tent that covers the entrance at the top, hosting it's main colours of bright blue and orange. The exit of the town lies to it's west, leading through a small canopy archway of trees where exploration teams set out into the unkown.
And that was an explanation of the town and the OP story, at te start we shall probably start of with 3 teams each owning 3-5 members. Those who want to make their own team shall either have to join the beggining team or wait till it has three members to create another one. No legendaries, and you shall also have to start of as the original evolution of your Pokemon, so no Hydreigon's please.
There are two ways and locations of starting, those who wish to be in a/the team that trains with the guild will start of outside going to signup for their commision, or those who wish to start off as a full exploration team will start off in Venture town. Here is the template, and my character to show an example.
If there is anything that I've missed, please let me know. Any mistakes with my knowledge of the franchise would be nice to know too.
Hope this is good. Would anyone be interested?
