I'm gonna signup for this, looks awesome.
- Name: Falvir Toromir.
- Description: He owns a normal coloured face, and hosts a thick moustache. Tall for a Gondorian, he owns a smooth, handsome face, although his eyes betray him as having years combat experience, and not just in training. (Crap, but I'm hard-pressed at the minute.)
- Powers/Magic: Apart from an iron will...none.
- Equipment: The high, most famous armour of the gondorian white tree guard. He also owns a long spear, a sword in a sceathe at his hip and a Gondorian horn. His armoured chest is covered by the tabard of the white-tree.
- Personality: He mostly keeps to himself and can seem depressed at times, but when he opens up he is rather sarcastic and happy, wise-cracking.
- Faction: Gondorian, he is of the high tree guard of Gondor, one of the small regiments captains.
- Time:GMT.
Hope it's okay...
Yep that`s fine although you may want to add at least one magic item since we will be fighting some powerful creatures. Something minor though since you will be getting some extra equipment but it might not be for a while. I`ll start the RP once we`ve got a few more members.
Yes it is although there are a few things you have to stick to. Easterlings wear heavy armour (as seen in the movie) and are very good fighters. However, they are not cut out to be scouts. The rest is up to you pretty much since there are different tribes with different behaviour.
I'm interested:
•Name: Gunthor
•Description: Short like all the dwarven race. Has a long, but short for his race, beard that is black in colour, he has spent most of his life working as a blacksmith so he is short tempered and is VERY muscular. He is always making stupid and somethimes pointless jokes but he is always serious when it come to battle. He doesn't like people being better at him at fighting or stronger than him.
•History: (Sorry for how short this one is.) He has spent all - or most - of his life as a blacksmith so he is an expert at the art, he was one of the best blacksmiths of his people.
•Powers/Magic: He hasn't got any powers, exept for being an ABSOLUTELY amazing fighter.
•Equipment: He has full, runed plate armour that can block most attacks in battle, it has sharp spikes all over it so that hardly anybody can go near it without getting pricked, the armour makes him very slow. He also has a runed warhammer that is the size of himself. The runes on the armour only reinforces it as well as the warhammer, they also make it so that they give of a greeny vapour that, if touching skin, burns and spreads throught out the victim slowly, causing alot of pain.
•Personality: Read discription.
•Faction: Dwarf.
•Time: UK: England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales.

He's gonna catch 'em all.- Name: Andoreas "Rea" of Esgaroth
- Description: A woman of the Dale possessing long black hair and clear blue eyes. Rea is a tall woman, as the race of Dale tend to be, with a height of around 179 cm, long legs and an athletic build. She tends to wear tunics and trousers of men, though when she arrives at the white city she'll be wearing a dress designed and cut not to obstruct her mobility in battle.
- History: Andoreas is a peculiar figure in the Dale and it's surroundings. Few remember her as a small girl raised by the old crone who took care of some thrushes on a little corner of Esgaroth. At some time during her childhood the crone passed away and not long after Andoreas leaved the city. Then the sightings began, of an odd girl followed by thrush, wandering the outskirts of town and appearing from time to time to talk and learn from those who walked alone, the shy thing never showing up to a pair or more. She stole crops from farms, helped out lone fishermen for some of their catch and helped hunters to find prey. Still, no matter the age, the lonely roads are dangerous and because of this the girl had to learn how to flee, how to hide and how to fight. As time went by she was spotted further away from her city of Esgaroth... up in Vale to over be caught a couple of times wandering in the dwarven mines where she befriended the bearded folk of the Lonely Mountain. As the years went by, Rea the wandering child of Esgaroth started to hone her skills, to grow out of her shyness... and to look out for greater horizons. For more than five years she went missing from the Town by the Lake. She is said to have traveled west, to meet the elves of Mirkwood, to taste the honey-cakes of the Beorning and to see the giants play during a thunderstorm. Andoreas marched west as a child and came back to the Dale as a woman, her wanderlust sated for the moment. She settled down on the outskirts of Dale to visit her old acquittance... and to hone her skills in battle, training with the soldiers of the Dale. That is until the day word reached the Dale of King Aragorn's quest and need. After years living peacefully in Dale Andoreas had her wanderlust awakened, and in no time she decided to travel south to join this crusade.
- Powers/Magic: None.
- Equipment: Andoreas arms and armor are the work of her dwarven friends of the Lonely Mountain. She wears a helmet, gauntlets and a chain mail shirt. As for her weapons she carries a spear, a medium sized round shield with one of her black birds painted in the center, a short curved blade and a dagger. She also brought from her travels to the West a pair of black boots decorated with a couple of thrush feathers. Nobody knows why, but when she wears these boots she's able to move very quickly, giving her incredible footwork in battle and a running speed to rival stallions.
- Personality: An adventurous and at times irreverent woman, with a great amount of pride and confidence in herself. She can be reckless when diving into new situations or dangers... though when facing them she can be as patient as a hunter waiting for the right moment to strike.
- Faction: The Dale
- Time: -4.30

I'm interested... but it's difficult to decide what to play as, because ordinarily I'd play as a certain character that I insert into almost every universe... but he's a wizard, so I can't really do that here since the wizards were spirits and all either died or went back to the Undying lands...
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.@Dragon: On the fact about the wizards, it doesn`t matter that they went to the Undying Lands as long as you can piece together a reasonable solution why your charcter has suddenly resurfaced. You could always play as an apprentice, whose training was never finished and was left behind when his master died. Use your imagination, it is Middle Earth after all.
Note to Self- "Change Cathphrase URGENTLY."Yeah, but my character isn't really an apprentice... most of the time, he comes in as one of th powerful villains, basically the guy who curbstomps the heroes at the beginning, and then is revealed to have good intentions, Heel–Face Turn, etc (usually to do with fighting to liberate the oppressed people no one thinks about)... yeah, he wasn't written with middle earth in mind
Just give me a minute. I'll think of something...
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Exactly why I didn't. I respect him far too much to butcher his work like that.
I'm almost done. Just putting some finishing touches on it.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Name: Vaskar
Description: He was one of the two Wizards who went off into the east, as featured in unfinished tales, he hid among the Easterlings for many years with the other wizard, until the other wizard was corrupted and revealed him to the bloodthirsty Easterlings, around the time of the end of the return of the King, he finally made it to Gondor, pursued by a company of orcs, he went into the city as the archers shot the orcs down. On Gandalf's return from the gates of Mordor, he was welcomed to Gondor as a friend and ally, and has become the king's advisor. He will never turn down the chance to fight the Easterlings, but realizes that at some point he may have to fight alongside them.
History: After fleeing from the East, he spent some time in dwarf holds warding off the enemy for them, he was gifted Orcist for his efforts, along with one of the seven rings. On finding what the ring was, he has made it his personal quest to place it in the fires of mount doom.
Magic: Can communicate with Ravens and other birds, He has the ability to channel light through his hands, and he can also kill anything that was tainted by the rings by touching them with his ring. The taint extends to things like Sauron, Gollum, Morgoth, Frodo, The Black Riders, etc, etc. Obvously Morgoth's status as a Valar would mean the ring would only wound him.
Equipment: Orcist, the twin of Gandalf's sword Glamdring, the fifth of the seven Dwarf rings, and a light mithril vest.
Personality: Trusts all elves, hates Easterlings, but not so much as not being able to work with them, he is also determined to bring the ring to Mount Doom.
Faction: Wizards
Time: GMT
If we all die in 2012, I'm blaming YOU!Well, this sound fun.
- Name: Aerith of the Deepingvale

- History: Aerith is one of the wandering elves; never staying more than one night in any place, he goes where his feet and heart take him. He fought in the war of the Ring, defending Caras Galadhon from Orcish attacks. After the war, he continued to wander, eventually coming to Gondor.
- Powers: he's an Elf, so mostly affinity to wildlife, keen eyesight, and a rather strong will.
- Equipment: a an Elvish longbow; two white knives; an enchanted quiver.
- Personality; gruff and stoic.
- Faction: Mirkwood (actually a Galdhrim, but it's complicated).

On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.

The Age of Sauron has past, the malignant spirit destroyed by the Fellowship of the Ring. Saurons allies have withdrawn back to their lands, the Haradrim to Harad, the Goblins to Moria and the Orcs back to the place that they call home. Gondor once more prospers, aided in battle against the Dark Kindreds by their allies, the Rohirrim who are led by their King Eomer the Valiant, the courageous Horse Masters of the Plains. They have reached a temporary peace with the Haradrim and those that they call Easterlings. However, this peace was never designed to last and a great evil once more sweeps over Middle Earth, the place the Ancient Elves, a race long past into folklore, called Ea. It is Morgoth, the Master of Sins, creator of Evil and despoiler of Yvanna`s tears. He came back to Ea in secret, gathering the Wardens his loyal servants, fell creatures called Balrogs by the human race or Durins Bane as they are referred to in the Dwarfish language. He set forth from Kazad-Dum, the darkness that is Moria, in a corrupted quest to reclaim the Silmarils, ancient gems stolen by the creature Ungoliant before his banishment at the hands of Illuvatars children. Manwe and his kind are imprisoned in the chains that they had Thengal forge in a bid to bind the evil that is Morgoth. However, as they lie helplessly in the prison, they can only do one thing. They pool their powers and send a message across the seas, calling to the Elves to return and fight for their beloved Ea.
The Noldor, sons of Fingulfin and daughters of Mirkwood, have stayed behind yet they are wary of stepping outside of the protection of their halls. As the race of Man stands alone with few allies, they must find the Silmarils and hope for aid in the form of the Elves. Each Kingdom sends forth men in an attempt to find the lair of Ungoliant and save Middle Earth from Saurons evil master. The Silmarils would make Morgoth`s conquest complete and therefore all have sent their very best warriors to aid in the fight. They gather in the white city beneath the blooming from of the White Tree, representatives from every faction, some even repenting of their sins in the service of Sauron and joining the light in an attempt to undo their shame and save Ea. With the elves far away, their only representatives outside Varlinor being the elves of the malicious forest that is Mirkwood Middle Earth`s greatest yet darkest hour is fast approaching. The hour of sundered shields and splintered spears that Aragorn, Dunedain King of Gondor, had prophesised. While the elves make all due haste to Middle Earth, the orders of light ready themselves for war. A crusade that will go down in the annals of human history one way or another.
The Silmaril Crusade, has begun.
In this RPG you play as a character that has joined the cause of Gondor in a bid to save Middle Earth. Aragorn and Eomer have called a crusade to recover the Silmarils and destroy Morgoth once and for all. They have little knowledge, whatever they know has been recovered from ancient scrolls left behind in the caverns of the White City by Feanor and his kin. As the war against Morgoths servants rages, King Aragorn calls a small group of the most experience fighters to him, for it is them that will recover the Silmarils and destroy the master of darkness. In mankinds gravest hour, there is still hope.
You can play a character from the following factions (as long as they are not mentioned in any of the Middle Earth trilogy):
