Well, Cygan was wondering why there wasn't one, so I made it. I guess we can talk about queer stuff. :3
(*LGBTQ+ Solidarity huggles*)
Oh, and if you're wondering, non-queer folks are welcome too.

Yeah, I generally open with "even if it is a sin, our rulesonly apply to practicing Christians. We are not the law of the land. The law of the land forbids establishment of religion and we are called to make disciples, not nations."
Fresh-eyed movie blogAs long as one acts with what they believe to be approval of the Heavens behind their actions, they will be certain that they and they alone know the correct set of actions and all who dare disagree with them, no matter how solid their proof, is wrong and evil by virtue of disagreeing with them, and thus, their idea of divinity. Religion in the modern world has, overall, been an extremely regressive force because it allows bigots to claim an absolute authority over morality, regardless of how reasonable their premises are or are not.
I'm not trying to bully Christians or anyone else who follows and strongly believes in a religion or faith, but religion is almost always a component of modern sexual bigotry and lack of such faith does not prevent one from working towards a future where truth, not assumptions, form the basis of law.

I sure said that!Science is a machine for correcting misconceptions of the world to fit observed truth. I apply a scientific perspective to my religion, correcting my interpretations to fit observed truths about how society works.
Fresh-eyed movie blogAlso, I may be mistaken, but aren't people's religious rights supposed to end when they begin to infringe on other people's civil rights?
I would also like to note that besides saying this in front of me (I'm only out as pan/bi to a select few people at the moment, I'm trying to be almost completely out over the next couple of months), they also said this in front of a student who is openly a lesbian. They're not exactly a sensitive bunch.

According to the religious right, the civil rights of others is infringing on their own religious freedoms. Because evangelism means making everyone live up to your own standards to them.
Fresh-eyed movie blogPeople have a somewhat sad tendency to confuse Evangelism and Missionaryism for bullying and Fascism.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. Not if you do it the (apparently) Scottish way! Just kinda set up and put out the offer, and be cool enough that people will check it out to see what's up.

Best of luck! Does she seem like she might be open to it?

Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Oh you don't even have to be that reserved (though I think it's best if you are). It's possible to actively say "this is a thing you should try" without being a bully about it.
Fresh-eyed movie blogTo be honest, if she's an open person, I expect that it's likely that you'll get the response that one of my best friends gave me: "What? Why didn't you tell me sooner?!"
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Someone whose Twitter I follow weighed in on "gender-critical" trans people

Although some who label themselves as gender-critical aren't themselves TER Fs - but they're in the minority of those who use it, often they criticize gender as a whole except as identity, which they agree exists and does have its own undefinable but definite existence. Gender as identity to them is much like art in that it can be recognised but is hard to define, it's everything else they criticize.

I have a genderqueer friend who takes a very similar stance, but he doesn't call himself that.

As a Christian, my priority is what Yeshua ben Nazareth, or Jesus Christ taught. That is love and acceptance. In the words of Relient K:
Jesus loved the outcasts
He loves the ones the world just loves to hate
And as long as there's a Heaven
There'll be a failure to excommunicate
