Well, Cygan was wondering why there wasn't one, so I made it. I guess we can talk about queer stuff. :3

Oh, and if you're wondering, non-queer folks are welcome too.

I got a little bored with Conan stories due to the lack of recurring characters to care about. I understand they're not a big, over-arching story, but rather many stories centered around one guy, but it's hard to care when other characters either leave or die.

Like I said, Lovecraft is fun without sympathizing with anybody. Conan is kinda boring as a single "hero". (yes, he's still the hero in some way. Rogues in the House makes a point of how he's at least a good guy by comparison)
Also, Lovecraft's stories are more detached from each other.

whateverWell, I recommend this
as an alternative Pocky. :3 It's great. Similarly, the protag is a faerie changeling. Other than that, it's completely different. It's dark urban fantasy. The protagonist is an impoverished teenage drug addict (well, maybe just a big smoker idr). There is some romance, but it's not the focus. Mostly it's all Fair Folk political stuff.

Read The Remarkable Journey Of Prince Jen. Read The King's Shadow. Read The Westing Game.
The first has the best ending of any book I've ever read; the second has some of my favorite characters in any book; and the third has, well, I can't even tell you about the third because it's just that telling you would spoil it; but you will crap a brick at the line "Hey, Julian. I won.".
If you want any of my avatars, just Pm me I'd truly appreciate any avatar of a reptile sleeping in a Nice Hat Read Elmer Kelton booksShe said in another thread that Indi's plane tickets are all taken care of now.
