These two eps were pretty fun.
Chekhov's Gun was hilarious and the return of the knife guy made me crack up. Plus the set up and pay off for each object was pretty god.
Forgotten Birthday was nice and sweet. It kinda makes you realise why Dana doesn't like the guys much. Plus the ending no matter how funny was still heartwarming with Zack remembering.
Although the fact Tom doesn't realise it's Dana's birthday when she says what day it is has annoyed quite a bit. But I guess that's to be expected from a jerk like him.
Plus both eps seem to have a nice lead in to the rest of the arc for this season. I can't wait to see what Gaelyn does when she finds out Zack remembered Dana's birthday and gave her a present.
I wrote another review of Echo Chamber!
This time, I pay more attention to last week's episodes.
Well that was brilliant on so many levels. Mr Administrator has got to love it.
The plot, bad attempts to monologue, and the big reveal were all pulled off well. Man I love noir.
Poor Dave, anyone else want to give him a hug? And Zack oh you go all stalkerish and you completely forget the colour button until the end.
Well I can't wait for the next episode
good episode. Just a note, though—the sound on Tom in the beginning was a bit low.
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." Twitterwhen in doubt, turn the gain all the way up to 11.
works every time.
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterI used to write music with the guy who is today Echo Chamber's composer. When we'd find out too late that some instrument we'd recorded wasn't in tune, my sophisticated response was... add more reverb.
That's why I don't write music anymore.
more sophisticated than autotune, at least.
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterDo I smell a Batman Gambit in the stinger?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Tyrant Takes the Helm is the first episode I kind of disliked. The entire purpose of Mr. Administrator's plan was to get Tom and Dana to trust each other again, but they didn't do much of anything. They only really told Zack to annoy "Bridgeport" and high-fived. We don't see any reconciliation onscreen, when that was supposed to be the point of the episode, right? It's just the exec is gone... BAM! They're friends again. My memory is faulty though, so I may have missed or forgotten a scene or dialogue that would render my criticism null.
On the other hand, I loved the sneaky Call-Back to Noir Episode with Tom's newspaper. Otherwise I've loved this past season. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
Needs a new signature.Bridgeport gave them a common enemy. Dunnae how long the reconciliation will last now that he's gone though.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIf I'm not mistaken, this episode, Chejov's gun and forgotten birthday weren't written by Tom or Dana, so maybe the "problem" is that they don't really connect with the Season Arc, or the connection is a bit forced. I think calling for scripts was a great idea, but this disconnectios is to be expected.

Yes, good Call-Back/ Brick Joke and the punchline was also great.
