Punctuated Titles: Direct or Redirect?

When you're pot-holing, do you prefer a direct link to punctuated titles using the bare URL (see The Ptitle Replacement System) or a simpler redirect using one of the alternative links? When you're editing a page's markup, do you prefer to see "{{ptitle}}" everywhere or a redirect link with the pothole including the punctuations? (commas, apostrophes, etc.)

This seems like a non-issue to me, but it apparently needs to be answered.

If the redirect is Custom Titled appropriately, it will display the proper page title without the need for a Pot Hole.

MotleyCrue => Motley Crue

The only time it matters is on indexes, where you do need the direct page URL.

This makes the source comprehensible as well as the displayed article.
