I have to agree. What was the point of that?
Also, it may be a little late, but did you stop and think that Scrounge, AnnoR and Stephan might not actually want you taking over their subplot?
Seriously, the robo-ill-girl and two engineering students trying to fix her is a cool plot idea. It didn't really need Minato running in going all "my family owns the company that built you! have all this stuff! Oh no my brother is a jerk!"

For the record, he doesn't. Rika's build is... Unique. Partly because I intend to keep compatibility issues a serious problem for her so she can stay an Ill Girl..
I will say that Minato's Family is a Red Herring. Even if they looked through Megami's records, there would be no record of her, as per Scrounge's wishes.
And I will not force Scrounge's character to be anything but what the Rper has in mind for her. I respect my fellow Roleplayers.
And just remember, characters in Negima that look completely unnecessary may well have a later importance.
Raji meeting Minato outside was just to establish some more of his traits. Minato will not take over anyone's subplot.

I will say this only once. You're not the GM, nick. You're not supposed to make characters pop up out the blue and then say "they'll be important later on." That's the function of the GM. A player only has his set of characters which they interact with whatever the GM throws at them, and if they are to add NPC's, it's a given they should ask the GM (and perhaps other players) to not step in other's toes. Specially if they're important "later on" or something.

Fair enough.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!
