"I don't know about that... I don't think it was that cute" Keiko answered the goggle maniac as she grabbed her chopsticks and started eating "By the way, it will be XXX yen for the stickers"

Ayame for her part simple patted Tsubame's head to comfort the girl "Well I guess we just have to apologize when she comes back... In the meantime lets start eating! We need lots of energy for the day"

On the hidden courtyard Emilia listened with attention to what the teacher said, finally letting out a sigh of embarrassment "It's alright... I shouldn't have run away like that, I just didn't expect such a reaction. There was also so many people talking at the same time I was afraid my translation charm would be overwhelmed"

"Are you Yamato Takeru Ishida?" The girl now asked, looking at the teacher from head to toe.

"Ah, right, the introductions." Yamato said apologetically, bowing his head to her. "Yes, I am Yamato Takeru Ishida, your teacher." The girl seemed a lot more calm now, which was good. He would need to make sure the class didn't flock to her again, at least until she warmed to the class a little more.

"Well, you probably shouldn't spend your lunch out here." Yamato told Emilia with a small smile. "Lunch time should be spent eating lunch, after all."

"Yeah. Good idea!" Tsubame returned, before going to grab her lunch. "Oh, and don't pat me like that!"

Emilia nodded her head, taking a quick look at the statue nearby and then to Yamato she replied "You're right. I guess we better go back now"

Surprisingly obedient, the girl simply stood up without any protest and then proceeded to follow Yamato on the way back. Apparently she did not know how to return to the classroom. On the way there she looked at him a little shyly once before looking down and saying "Aside from my teacher you're also going to be my instructor in... you-know-what, right?" After saying this she left a little pause and seeing how he did not deny it she added "I hope I'm not too much trouble to you"

Meanwhile on the classroom Ayame smiled at her little roommate again and said the customary "Right, right, sorry Tsubame-chan"

Her demeanor made it clear however that she wasn't sorry about the patting and that she would certainly do so again in the future.

With his usual friendly smile, Yamato led his new student back to the classroom. On the way, she asked him a question, to which he glanced at her, a knowing glint in his eye.

"Emi-san... Or would you prefer 'Emilia? If teaching a student was a bother to me, I wouldn't have chosen this profession!" Yamato answered with a small laugh. "And besides, I haven't really had a chance to teach this particular subject, so it'll be a bit of a learning experience for both of us!"

Yamato quietened down as they passed a group of students, making sure they were out of earshot before continuing. "If I recall, we major in the same element, so it'll be easy! Just try and have some fun with your school work, make some friends, and I promise you'll love this place."

"'Kay, so Mai and Mei, I want you two to try and figure out her likes and dislikes!" Lucy ordered two of her club members, who specialised in 'reconnaissance'. "Find out what'll make her laugh the most!"

Said club members saluted and finished off their lunch. They would begin their work later, sometime after class, where they would have the most free time.

"Ayu, Nagisa, make sure you fulfil your 'amusing background character' roles flawlessly! Make sure Emilia loves the wacky going-on around Mahora!"

Ayu nodded in reply, while Nagisa rolled her eyes. Even for this club, Lucy was getting a bit over-the-top.

"And... that leaves Kotomi and Makoto make sure she's nice and happy with the school!" Lucy announced. Kotomi, the quietest member of the club, nodded while playing some game on her old Game Boy, while Makoto, the closest person they had to a reasonable voice, decided to ask Lucy why she was going to all this trouble, when their previous endeavours where small scale in comparison.

Lucy tutted and wagged her finger at the club member. "You really need to ask? The answer is simple!" The young vampire girl leaped atop her desk, striking a valiant pose as she did. "It's a two-way attack! Not only do we bring happiness and cheer to a frightened new student, but we show our dedication! Our intellect! Our burning passion!"

Lucy dramatically pointed at her club members. "When people realise how utterly serious we are about unifying all of Mahora under our banner of absolute friendliness, we'll become the biggest, most popular club in the history of ever!"

A stunned silence filled the room, except for Makoto, who merely sighed. "Basically, it's your attempt at an elaborate advertisement for the club?"

"Hey! I'm serious about helping the new gal!" Lucy said defensively.

"Your plan could use a lot of toning down, but whatever. Your orders." Makoto shrugged, and sipped at her carton of Orange Juice.

Masuyo blinked, taken off guard for a moment when she went to pick one of her croquettes up with her chopsticks. "They cost money? You didn't even tell me."

It didn't appear that Masuyo particularly cared, though. She placed her croquette back down and started searching for her yen.

Haruka ate quietly in the hallway, watching the various students go about their business. The other members of her class were about, and she watch with neutral eyes. Seeing the new student, Emilia she remembered her being named, brought a weird feeling in the core of her being. She supposed that this feeling was sympathy. Being in a new student was always hard. But that wasn’t it. What the young miss felt was something...more.

Ignoring theses feelings for now, Haruka continued to eat her lunch in silence until it was time to move on to her class.

"You may call me either way" The girl from Wales said, stopping for just a moment to look at the girl dressed in a cloak who sat alone in the hallway. After the moment was past however she hastened her steps to catch up with Yamato once again "I'll try to follow your advice while I'm here"

Once they reached the classroom she hurried back to her seat, turning only after two steps to say "Also... thank you for being so kind to me so far, Professor Yamato"

With that the new girl at her desk and hurriedly took sandwich from her bag. She felt very smart now to have saved this from the flight, otherwise she would have definitely gone hungry.

Not long afterwards Madoka walked back to the classroom, pausing as she walked besides her roommate "Haruka, eating alone again?"

Keiko for her part waited for the money from Masato without any mercy "Hey, I'm running a business, I thought it was obvious that I was selling them to you. Got to make a living, you know?"

Haruka looked up at Madoka, chewing the clump of rice in her mouth before responding.

"I am. The new student caused quite a surge of energy, so I thought the halls might be a quieter local. I was right" the young miss said quietly. Looking up at her roommate, Haruka wondered just how much she must care about her. They have known each other for a very long time, but they talked very little. It was a comfortable silence between them but this left little room for exchange of information. She knew basic things like her birthday but very little outside that. For some reason that bothered her. She had to change that.

"If you want...you could eat with me. We haven't talked in a long time...” Haruka whispered, barely audible to Madoka. The young miss was fidgeting slightly, hiding it as best she could with her shrouding attire.

"Oh, yeah, it was so obvious. It's not like you just asked me if I wanted some stickers," Masuyo replied, cheerfully sarcastic. Still, she dug some yen out of her pockets and handed it over. Kinzoku-kun had somehow once again found his way to her shoulder.

Madoka was a little surprised by her roommate's invitation. It wasn't everyday that the two of them had a good conversation... rarer still for the cloaked girl to begin it.

This wasn't a chance to waste "I guess you're right Haruka"

Without any further words, the teenager sat at Haruka's side, fishing from her pockets an energy bar to eat. She would give her friend a moment to open the conversation... though knowing her she might find that a little hard or awkward, in that case she would go right ahead and start the conversation on her own.

Keiko meanwhile grabbed the yen without any remorse "I see... well since my intentions where misunderstood I guess I'll take responsibility for that. For a nice client such as yourself a special service"

In the blink of an eye Keiko grabbed another sticker and stuck it to Masato's cheek. It was a little face sticking out it's tongue in apparent irritation "Free of charge and just for you"

Ayame resisted the impulse to pat her roommate's head once again. Doing so just after apologizing would be crossing the line a little "That's why I like you so much Tsubame-chan, you got a big forgiving heart"

As Yamato led Emilia back to class, he smiled at the students of his that they passed. When Emilia thanked him for his kindness, he waved his hand in a dismissive manner. "No need for thanks, it's the decent thing to do, after all!"

He watched as Emilia took her seat, and was pleased to see that the class weren't flocking at her again. It seemed they had learned their lesson. Well, most of them anyway. One of the students that currently wasn't in class was most likely planning to 'cheer her up' this very moment.

That girl knows no restraint... Yamato thought as he turned to leave the class. Well, I can trust the girl's top make sure Lucy-chan doesn't go over board. In the mean time, I suppose I should go over what spells are giving Emi-san trouble...

"Um... thanks?"

Masuyo was having a hard time reading what Keiko's intent with saying that was, and she couldn't tell what sticker had been stuck to her face. Kinzoku-kun looked at her cheek and pointed at it.

"Well, anyway, I guess I'll get to eating."

Masuyo picked up one of her croquettes with her chopsticks and took a bite out of it.

Haruka smiled slightly and looked down at the ground, thinking of what they should talk about. It had been quite a while indeed.

"W-well...how have your studies been going? I see you working so hard after classes, I wonder just how your efforts have blossomed.." The young miss asked quietly, looking to her roommate in an attempt to look pleasant.

Keiko gave a sharp look at the croquette that Masuyo just took a bite from "Hmmm perhaps we may make another deal" The girl then picked up something from her lunch box and held it with her chopsticks for Masuyo to see "How about it? One of my eggs for one of your croquettes?"

"Pretty good. Sure, I'm not the best in any subject but I'm confident in having one of the strongest averages around" Madoka said while patting herself in the chest, filled with a little pride due to her hard work "If not for the amount of work the CG Club brings me I would certainly try to bring the fight to you in History classes, Haruka"

I knew it! Slightly better than I expected but still I knew it would be about goggles!

Even though Masuyo held up the goggles Keiko's gaze was glued to the croquette on her chopsticks. Keiko coughed softly before she replied "... Just so I know what I'm working with here, I don't have to sleep with them on, right? Also, just what activities would this goggles Club indulge in?"

Both Kagura and the shadow teacher began eating their lunch in his room, Kagura decided to go over the information about the new student from Wales with him. After all, she had felt a certain weird push from that girl. It might be magic, which meant that Arnedo might take an interest. Especially because she was from Wales. He had shown interest in Wales multiple times, and for very odd reasons.

She said, "So, there was a new student today in Class 2A...quite an unusual little thing...had an odd vibe, moved here all the way from Wales."

Right in the middle of eating a riceball, Arnedo's eyes widened and he did a spit take, and Kagura nonchalantly brought her napkin up and deflected the rice.

He looked at her, slightly more serious, "Are you certain? Hmm, I will need to know..."

She got a definite bad feeling from this.
