"Good MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNING MAHORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
The incredibly grating voice of Lucy Marsh filled the air as she ran to the academy. Every other day, she would scream something to that effect, spreading the joy of waking up to another day throughout the area - as well as extreme irritation. Not that Lucy seemed to notice, though.
Humming absent-mindedly to herself, Lucy thought over what her club should be doing for the next week. It was fairly small compared to most other clubs, but by god, was it the best! Who could beat spreading cheeriness and laughter through any possible means? Heck, some club members were willing to risk detention for their noble cause!
"Hmm... Don't think there's anyone in need of cheering up..." Lucy muttered thoughtfully. "I wonder if the school's spirits are high? Maybe we should aim for a school-wide event?"
Lucy shielded her eyes as she glanced at the sun, smiling ever so slightly. She remembered the first week she had became a vampire, not knowing just how much of the myth's were just that. A full week of hiding under her bed, too afraid to even turn her bedroom light on... Heh, and now here she was, walking around under the sun like all the normal students. That at least made blending in all the easier. Still, she shouldn't linger. Fatal or not, the sun didn't seem to agree with her prolonged exposure.
"I'm gonna be first to class!" Lucy yelled to no one in particular, and promptly sped off for class, aiming to be the first there for no reason other than to be first.
Natsuna Haruka did her very best to avoid contact with the rest of the students as she made her way towards the first class of the day. The giggling mass of girls has always been an annoyance to the recluse girl. Today was especially unbearable, however, as last nights study binge has left Haruka with a severe migraine.
'Even when I leave early these hussies are still hear, never to leave me a moment peace..' Haruka thought to herself. Pushing a particularly loud brunette away from herself, the cloak enshrouded adolescent gritted her teeth in anger. 'If these imbeciles are this loud, its a wonder how I'll be able to survive with my homeroom.'
Haruka leaned back into her chair, crossing her arms and scanning the area of her homeroom. She was alone save for a few figures wondering about their business. 'The calm before the storm..' she thought to herself dejectedly. Closing her eyes the young miss pondered about her awaiting day and the eventual burst of sound to appear with the rest of her class

"To fan the flames of war is to burn the land away"Tsubame Ito strolled towards the classroom, apparently not caring that she would likely end up late at this rate. She had been convinced that following her roommate wasn't such a good idea today. Although she was starting to regret it with someone stopping her and giving her directions to the elementary school every five seconds...despite this she managed to keep her usual sunny disposition.
The short girl also stopped every now and then to take photos of anything potentially newsworthy, but after being bowled over for the 10th time by someone in a hurry to get to class, Tsubame finally noticed the time, gave up on taking pictures and hurried to homeroom.
Panting and slightly dirty from her repeated meetings with the ground, she took her seat and began examining her camera, making sure it still worked and that the lens wasn't scratched.
Burn up, hurricane of justice! Not long afterwards the slightly quiet 2A classroom slowly filled up with both more girls and the noise and chatter that followed after them.
Keiko set up shop on her own desk placing her best merchandise on display for the whole class to see. Today she had a bunch of pretty butterfly themed hair decorations, the newest issues of a couple of manga magazines, a variety of sweets and some music C Ds.
Ayame arrived not long afterwards, walking with a big smile on her face. She left her naginata on the back of the classroom and then went to seat besides her little roommate "Hi there, Tsubame-chan. Got a new scoop on the way over?"
Madoka for her part was busy reviewing her notes for the class, though she did spare a glance every now and then to her slightly gloomy roommate a few seats over I still think the cloak is a little bit too much, Haruka...
Satisfied that her camera was in working order, Tsubame turned and smiled at her roommate.
"Oh, hey Aya-chan. I saw a couple of interesting things, but every time I went to take a photo someone shoved me and I ended up missing the shot. I tried to interview someone suspicious looking but I got stuck in a crowd of 1st years and ended up way off course. I bet that weirdo was really something too." she seems slightly disheartened.

Burn up, hurricane of justice!"Come on, come on, come on..." Lucy muttered as she raced to class, nimbly evading slower students, or inadvertently knocking them to the ground, she found her way inside the building, through the corridors, and finally lurched through the class room door. "I WI-eh?!"
Lucy saw that several classmates had already beaten her to class. Lucy blinked, sighed in disappointment, then immediately forgot all about her pointless quest. Smiling brightly, she loudly announced, "S'up, Gal's?" Before bounding to her seat, flicking her twin-tailed hair behind her shoulders. Once seated, she began to catch her breathe, wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead.
Kotohime entered the classroom with little fanfare, and quietly took her seat next to the overly cheerful girl. She placed her violin case by her feet, adjusted her fedora slightly and neatly arranged her pen and notebook on her desk.
"Good morning, Miss Marsh. I see you are as wastefully exuberant as ever."
As Lucy's breathing returned to a normal rate, she glanced at the girl who sat next to her. None other than the class rep, Kotohime. An unusual girl amongst the class, although Lucy felt the mafia girl had nothing on Lucy's status. Not that she felt like comparing them. Even if Kotohime was an oddity, that didn't mean everyone in class had some weird background, shrouded in myths, magic... or even gangs. "Thanks!" Lucy happily replied to the class rep, apparently unaware of what 'wastefully exuberant' meant, and had taken it as a compliment. "So, business any good, Hime?"
"Oh?" Lucy wore a wide grin. If one decided to look, they may notice sharper than usual teeth tucked inside, which Lucy would just wave off as really sharp incisors. Thankfully, as far as she was aware, no one ever noticed her retracted fangs, so there was no need to try and cover them. "Well, I'll bet you're really busy! What with the class duties, and money lun-launur-moving about, and... other, mafia-related stuff." It occurred to the vampire that she wasn't very knowledgeable about the mafia. Then again, she was barely aware of many things that weren't directly related to, or piqued her interest in any way.
"Aww that's a shame Tsubame-chan. Say what, next time come on my route with me. It's a little bit more of running but I bet you won't be shoved by anybody" Ayame said with a slight smile on her face as she extended her hand to pet her little roommate in the head "So, how weird was this weird person?"
Meanwhile Keiko was distracted from her costumers the moment she saw Kotohime enter the classroom. As was the girl's custom she shot the Mafia Princess a look loaded with killer intent. Not that she didn't deal with Hime from time to time, but that didn't mean that she had to like it.
Haruka peered over to her roommate and watched her as she roamed through various papers on her desk. It was a foreign concept to her, notes. Ever since she was a child she could remember the smallest detail involving text. She forgot things of course, but when it came to books and school papers she had a near photographic memory. It was very useful, especially with history work and quoting her favorite books.
'It is a shame that Mado-chan has to carry those around with her. But thus is the tragedy that is fate'. Seeing Madoka glance up at her Haruka peeked away to another side of the side of the room, pulling her hood further foreword to cover up her blush stricken face.
"To fan the flames of war is to burn the land away"Yamashita Masuyo was, at the moment, quite cheerful. Despite having spent several hours of the previous night repairing Kinzoku-kun, the small biped robot who now sat on her shoulder, she didn't appear to be tired in the slightest. No, her standard cheer remained.
The cheer really only grew as she approached the classroom door, and pulled it open.
"Hai, everyone!" Masuyo said cheerfully with a wave. Kinzoku-kun mimiced her wave, extending one of its usually hidden arms to do so.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Yakuza, Miss Marsh. We have standards and class, unlike those Italian-American thugs."
Kotohime took note of Keiko's glare. The girl didn't seem to like her for some reason. So what if her parents owed the Yakuza money? It wasn't her fault they were stupid enough to fall into debt, was it? Didn't she realise how the world worked?
"...there's a difference?" Lucy asked in wonder, then shook her head. "Man, I'll bet it's a pain to keep track of all that!" At that moment, Yamashita entered the classroom, announcing her greeting. Lucy was compelled to call back with an echoing, "Hey, Yama, good morning!" Clearing her throat afterwards, and completely unaware of any annoyance she may have caused, Lucy leaned back in her seat, stretching a little. Can't wait for P.E.... Lucy thought vaguely. There's the club meeting too. Hm... What else to do?
"Aaah~" Tsubame leans into the petting for a moment, "Hey! Don't pet me, I'm not a child!" she turns away and pouts in a very childish manner.
"I might have to take you up on that offer though. And this weirdo was really weird, umm, they were really quiet and had this black robe and...come to think of it, they looked a lot like Haru-chan. Ehehehe."
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Masuyo smiled.
"Soooo, how's everybody doing? I'm sure you're all just so excited for class," she commented as she took her seat, one over from Keiko. She took Kinzoku-kun off of her shoulder and placed him on the table.
"Don't go off and pinch anyone again, Kinzoku-kun.," she adomished the little robot. "That wasn't funny."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."— Fujiwara Keiko —
Keiko saw her glaring interrupted when the resident crazy tech wiz entered the classroom with her little invention. She was hard at work trying to ignore how the little robot seemed far more sentient than the invention of a Middle School girl had any right to.
"Yo, Yamashita! Hey I got some new stickers that would look great adorning you little friend. Want to take a look at them? Maybe some cute mushrooms? Little frogs?"
— Kotobuki Ayame —
Ayame just giggled and said "Sure you aren't Tsubame, I know that"
Though hearing about the weird person she grew only slightly more serious "I cannot imagine somebody other than Haruka-chan going around in such clothes... maybe it's a relative? Or a boyfriend?"
— Nijuuin Madoka —
Seeing her friend glancing her way Madoka flashed her a smile and waved with her free hand, only to see Haruka turn back the other way, hiding her face in that cloak of hers. I'm glad the rules of the school are so lax regarding accessories... otherwise a good number of the class would find themselves in trouble
"Stickers?" Masuyo smiled. "Sure! I bet Kinzoku-kun would love to have some stickers, right Kinzoku-kun?"
She gentlely pushed the little robot to the edge of the desk, stopping before it would get pushed off. "I'd like to see 'em. I mean, I now shiny metal is just so popular right now, but they sound nice."
Masuyo was slightly disappointed in herself. That wasn't her best use of sarcasm.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Kagura Anosaka was, as usual, sitting by herself in Class 2A, pondering on a number of things which had occurred. She looked down at her right arm, and sighed.
However, a smile crept over her face when she thought of the class she was in now. Such a bright, happy place. Full of friendly faces.
She even enjoyed working with that lazy guy.
Speaking of said lazy guy...
"Oh man...gotta get these graded for the students..." He had neglected to get the papers graded last night, as he had been too busy dealing with two of his minions arguing about the movie portrayals of zombies. He had to settle arguments in his group, it was a responsibility of his as a leader. But it was all such a drag...why couldn't his shadow take care of it?
His motto was simple: Let someone else handle it.
He yawned, finishing another paper. He had thought about grading the papers strictly, but the crying faces...the angry faces...too frightening!
So he graded the papers very nicely, and then as his class began, he hit the lights, cringing a little. "Okay guys, tests are in...as usual, you all did really well."
"Yeah! It's probably something like that." Tsubame paused for a moment, "I mean, there's no way I'd mistake Haru-chan for a weirdo. Unless..." another pause, "Of course! Haru-chan's gotta be a member of some secret underground occult club, and that suspicious looking weirdo was another member! It all makes sense now."
Tsubame nodded, hoping this would cover up the fact that it was actually Haruka she had seen and that she just hadn't thought it through.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Haruka looked over to Ayame and Tsubame upon hearing her name being mentioned, scowling slightly after hearing a few tidbits.
"Crap...Tsubame was that girl from earlier? This makes things complicated" Haruka whispered to herself while contemplating what she should do about her situation. The young miss had no objections about protecting her own personal space, but knowing that she caused her classmate unnecessary cruelty did not set well with her at all. "Might as well get this over with..." she muttered and retracted her chair, advancing toward the pair with her hands concealed in her sleeves.
As Haruka reached her destination before Tsubame she lifted up a hand from her sleeve, revealing a piece of light maroon parchment. With a few subtle folds and a flick of her wrist the paper was morphed into feline shaped origami. Looking down slightly, the girl held the craft out to Tsubame.
"Su..Sumimasen, I apologize for my rudeness to you earlier today. I hope this gift is enough to express my regret" Haruka said quietly to Tsubame while putting on a small smile for her.
"To fan the flames of war is to burn the land away"— Fujiwara Keiko —
"Sure, sure I got a great selection right here..." Keiko said as she dug through her backpack until she produced about three sheets filled with stickers in different designs "I think they'll give the little guy a lot of personality"
— Kotobuki Ayame —
"Occult club? Like making weird hand puppets and sacrificing chickens and laying curses on people?" Ayame asked, totally buying what Tsubame just told her "Like... what kind of curses do you think they work on?"
However, just at that moment Haruka appeared at their side which understandably scared the crap out of the lancer girl.
O-Origami? Could it be... that that cute little thing is the recipient of a curse?

"I dunno, Aya-ch-" Tsubame paused when she noticed Ayame's fear and turned to look at the source.
Tsubame stared at Haruka for a moment before she spoke, "Huh? Oh, wow. It's so cute. Thank you." She smiled brightly and, since she really didn't believe a word she'd just said about the "occult club", took the origami cat without a second thought.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!

Mahora Academy.
Stuck somewhere in Japan the lies an incredible institution, it's size rivaling that of a small city. An escalator school with numerous schools offering education going from kindergarten up to university degrees and doctorates. It's population is almost entirely made up by all the students and professors. It's humongous campus has installations for almost every kind of club or hobby that one can possibly imagine, soccer fields, tennis courts, pools, a library so big that is said to have several hidden underground stories and much, much more.
Every morning it's streets fill up with the incredible crowd of students as they make their hasty way to the classrooms and today is no exception.
Kotobuki Ayame runs through a longer though lesser known road, naginata in hand and a smile on her face. She hoped that by taking this route she wouldn't be intercepted by as many members of the varied martial arts clubs in campus. Those guys and girls were certainly energetic as they somehow managed to ambush her no matter how early or late she started to go on her way.
Fujiwara Keiko for her part couldn't take the luxury of walking down a longer, less transited road to class. Not with the giant backpack slung on her shoulders. She also was dragged to the karaoke by her overly enthusiastic upperclassmen and had to spend about three minutes stuck on top of a three due to a particularly vicious little dog on her delivery route.
Needless to say, the girl wasn't at her best at the moment. After stumbling for the eighth time against someone on the road her patience more or less ran off and she decided to run the rest of the way over and be thankful if she died because of it.
In complete contrast to that Nijuuin Madoka walked at a calm pace towards her middle school. She was looking around the crowd for one of her friends to run over and talk the rest of the way to class.
