Yeah. I maintain this is such a fundamentally bizarre claim to be taking given the game that gave us Create-A-Soul gave us easily the most in-depth single player campaign in the series, one that was also intrinsically tied into the CAS (indeed, without CAS, there's no way they would have bothered with modelling all the characters in Chronicles of the Sword). CAS has been shown to enhance single-player, not hurt it.
And like. At risk for shifting the discussion to a person, it's odd that you're here on TVT seemingly for the sole purpose of sharing an objectively wrong opinion.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.CAS really is a pretty major selling point for the franchise. Even if you don't care for it personally, it essentially pays for itself because a lot of people are gonna buy a SC game just because they saw friends futzing around with CAS on social media.
I do remember, inspired by SC 3's CAS having "Canon" users of the different CAS weapons that where often Mythology Gag or Promoted to Playable, that it would be neat to bring back some Guest Fighter movesets but give them to canon characters so you don't have to pay royalties. Like Darth Vader could be Moveset Clone'd by The Masked Emperor and Link could be one of the elven warriors that canonically exist in the series but are never really seen.
It would be fun for a "Party Game" style SC that's not super worried about balance and can just throw in as many movesets as conceivable.
You are not alone.I don't think so. The bonus characters were a mix of canon Soul universe characters and CotS characters, with precisely one character for each of the 17 CaS styles (17! God Soul Calibur III was so good 😭)
They'll turn your world aroundAnd the version exclusivity rages on.
…Eh, can't be too mad, this is the version where I first got into the Soul Calibur series.
Might still happen someday, despite Turok being on the N64 Classic lineup they had no problem throwing the HD remaster on the Eshop too. (Which I certainly bought.)
You are not alone.Another funny Soul Calibur III TAS madness with a surprise Tekken Crossover?!
I'm even more curious on how to perform the off-axis glitch and if it's actually present on the previous games
. Additionally, I miss the unique CAS fighting styles even if they're incomplete and buggy due to developer crunch times.
Can't believe they actually got someone to mocap Tira's bladed hula hoop and Voldo's contortion-fu.
You are not alone.I remember watching a video about that back when SCIII wasn't out yet, but I can't remember if this was the video in particular.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.Begging for a Soul Calibur VII with the character customisation level of III... pretty please with a cherry on top I want to see where this new timeline goes and I want to do wild shit with the characters I make

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos HDI assume you mean the custom character movesets of III. VI has a high level of outfit customization.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI've been playing a lot of Soul Edge and the first Soulcalibur recently as I wanted to really get into the series (a few years late admittedly) and expand on the work pages, as the only SC game I ever played was SCII on the Game cube.
While I never grew up with these older 3D fighters, I can see a lot of the framework and cool things that make the original Soul Edge tick and appreciate a lot of things about it that I miss from older fighting games.

I'm still annoyed by the console exclusivity, but I'm at least glad more people are getting a chance to play it!
The sad, REAL American dichotomy

I'm a lore fiend, and I get more enjoyment from Soul Calibur's than any other fighting game franchise. If you were to see a correlation/causation where there isn't one, that'd mean CAS makes single player and lore better.
