I don't just mean playable. Edgemaster's been in the story for a long time.
Chie was also daughter of one of their clan's elders, and became its leader in SCV. But that's in the future.
Setsuka gets more development yes, but SCV is 17 years in the future, so there's not much to prompt it happening in the present day of SCVI.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI just find it... honestly fascinating people can care about Lizardman as much as many people do.
I've been playing the series since SC 1 and have owned them all (barring spinoffs) and... yeah. He was a non-entity in SC 1, albeit a fucking awesome one. In two, even less so since he's one of the added characters. In 4, they play up the Lizardman horde even more. I remember his role in SCIII so little I thought it was his IV appearance until I looked it up.
I just... don't get where people get the attachment to him from. There's nothing wrong with it, I merely don't get it and it's curious.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. He's a cool monster that got screqed over by the gods and has been trying to regain his humanity with little success. Plus like yoshimitsu his appearance varies per game, which is cool.
Plus he wields an axe and shield. That's just Rule of Cool
It's more for completion's sake, the fact that he has an interesting story, and that he's a bit of a Cosmic Plaything, almost to the point of being a Woobie, except monsters aren't usually allowed to be woobies.
He's like Waspinator.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI like cool monsters. Fighting games nowadays never introduce any new ones, just pretty people, so legacies like Lizardman are all we get.
1st time I'm hearing about this.
See, that's why I like Lizardman... which is why I don't get people still clamoring for Aeon Calcos since, well, I can just make a Lizardman that ticks off what I care about.
... although Lizardman has the best demonstration in SC1.
I'm pretty sure pre-transformation Aeon is less of a character than Rothion.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Have we ever actually seen what Aeon Calcos used to look like? I mean, obviously he hasn't been a playable character, but there must be art of what he looked like before he became a lizard person somewhere.
If he is in scvi, we might be able to see him pre transmutation.
Considering he's one of the villain generals he should be playable. Him and Hwang are two pretty glaring omissions TBH.
Li long is also mentioned by mitsurugi in the main campaign so i had thought it would have been a good chance to re-introduce him to the series.
Well, there was D'Vorah, Torr and Ferra from MKX in 2015. Though, yeah, it doesn't happen often.

Maybe my term for monster design is broader than it is should be but there's been plenty of monsters & freaky designs when it comes to fighting games in general
IIRC Lizardman in the story mode is represented by a CAS Lizardman character using Sophitia's moveset.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.
It's got some old Lizardman axe and shield staples blended with some Sophitia stuff, which resembles his original SoulCalibur moveset the most, appropriately enough. It's pretty far from a complete moveset though, hence why you can't actually use it unless you're on PC and mess with the game's files.
Presumably he'd get a full revamp if added as a playable character proper. Timeline wise, he's supposed to still be using a sword and shield, but they'd probably nix that to avoid having three of them in one game, plus it'd be casting aside a lot of his unique hand axe moves from when they developed him further apart from the Sophitia basis in III and IV.
this place needs me herePlaying Nioh 2 made me realize a dual hatchet wielding character would've been super cool.
Honestly, dual axes Lizardman from V was the most interesting he's been, and not just because he stole three fourths of his movelist from Kratos. You had a feeling that he was something different than just another take on sword-n-board.
grahHave you seen the Alexandra sisters' upper bodies? I wouldn't call them boards...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'm not really sure if that was the context but I wouldn't know
Eh, big boobs are so ten years ago.
Which SC girl has the biggest butt is the real question of our times.
Stil Ivy I will say after careful, careful observation.
Unless 2B counts.
y not both
Actually here's a thought, in this series, or in fighting games in general, are the male characters actually eye candy for people who are attracted to men?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyJin and Hwoarang from Tekken.
I dunno about Sc. Sigfried is kinda hot, I guess.

Like, what the hell?
Isn't Lizard Man something of a scrappy because of his voice?
