2B or not to be 12/18/18.
Yo I got this game for christmas, got a wireless game controller too and I'm currently working out to install the controller as it didn't come with any instructions
So as I recall, the time line for SCVI takes place from the ending of Soul Blade through the events of both Soul Calibur 2 and 3 right?
Or does it not get as far as 3 and stop at just around 2 (which would make sense since Sophitia doesn't have her children until after the events of that game)?
Had my first online match today,I got hammered
It's basically Soulcalibur 1 with some extra setup for SC2 - the SC2 characters get prequel stories, as do a few others.
3 marks the beginning of soul embrace, so the timeline goes into 2, but it doesnt exactly resolve anything there. Seigfried is unpossessed a little earlier than normal though.
So the characters would all be their SCI ages then?
I was wondering about that to be honest with you.
The timeline covers multiple years I believe so the ages would probably fluctuate a bit.
That makes sense. By keeping the characters ages ambiguous, they can keep their precious ladies young and cute, as is the long time obsession for women in media.
I mean the timeline is pretty explicit. I can check on it in detail a bit later.
It's been awhile but I recall 4 years pass since SC I. That being said I specifically remember that Siegfried was still Nightmare but with struggling to break free from control. It wasn't until his battle with Rapheal (apparently it was curbstomp in Nightmare's favor) that Siegfried finally broke free & did the whole Soul Embrace
The series has been very clear that SC 2, 3, and 4 take place within the same year. Sophitia already has her kids by 2, and they're walking and talking.
Didn't see anyone bring this up yet. Could be definitive, could be left over code; decide for yourself I guess?
I figure they'll show up eventually. I'm more interested in what's up with Aeon Calcos.
Isn't Aeon the unnamed-in-game-but-still-clearly-him "Lizardman Chief" in Astaroth's story?

I believe so.
It bugs me that he's not playable yet, when his species is for CAS.
That's because he's future DLC
The thing is Aeon isnt...well aeon atm. Hes just lizardman. A much smarter one but im sure a lot of people would be scratching their heads.
Also it seems he has a sword instead of his trusty axe in his story art. Weird.
Aeon wasn't really Aeon when he finally got named in SCV either. They decided that his efforts in SCIV were for naught and he just spent 17 years in a mentally regressed state. It kind of sucked.
Hell, Aeon is only really Aeon in SCIII, and in brief flashes of SCIV, I guess.
The point is, his name doesn't really signify much beyond that he's a more important character than your generic lizardman. As long as they show where he came from in his story, no one is going to be scratching their heads as to why he's called Aeon.
I do wonder if the other DLC characters will be getting stories though. Tira got one, but she was developed during the main development period of the game and was available day one. 2B did not get one, but she is a guest character (though that didn't stop Geralt). I guess we'll know for sure with whoever's next.
Lizardman is already in the game. You fight him in Seong Mina's story
I know Cervantes' ship is called the Adrian but what's the name of the ship Maxi and his crew use?
