Bad news guys.
These images, while very impressive, aren't official. They were made for the company's "internal portfolio" rather than for Soulcalibur and have no connection to Namco whatsoever. They've said it themselves in an email a user at 8WayRun sent.

So, no new game yet. Hope there's one soon.
Author.Wait, did people really think they were official?
Oh... guys...

When Cervantes had Soul Edge he had two swords, right? A male and female sword? But then Siegfried took the male sword and became Knightmare? And Cervantes was left with just the female sword? But nowadays the female sword seems to be forgotten about and people only talk about there being one Soul Edge? I'm asking because I'm not sure what's going on with that whole thing. I say again, it would be great if we had a well put together story mode that spelled all this out.
Well about Soul Calibur 3/4 The Soul edge has more or less been recompleted after searching for the shards from when Sophitia broke the 'Female' sword and when Xianghua Broke the 'Male' one in SC 1
This is an outrage against Luminara! And the only reason it was split into Male and Female halves was due to Cervantes having two weapons.
It's normally just a male persona in contrast to the female persona of Soul Calibur.
Ignoring that they have no actual genders in the first place.
One Strip! One Strip! With all the teasers they are obviously planning to make an announcement of some kind. Is there a gameshow or something coming up soon that's a likely platform for an announcement?
If they do reboot, they might have Li Long in it. But Maxi is already a nunchuck user. I was thinking, do you think Li Long could use a sanjiegun
and still be Li Long?
Why not both.
We had both Sophitia and Cassandra at one point, so having Li Long and Maxi isn't so crazy.
Just find a way to differentiate them from each other and you'd good to go.
One Strip! One Strip! We also just had three Ditto Fighters in one game, so having two characters with similar styles shouldn't be a problem at all.
"Can't make an omelette without breaking some children." -BurWe've already had both at the same time in Soul Calibur 3 and its Arcade Edition.
And man... I wish either of those were available on the PS 3's PSN for us people without backwards compatibility.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThis is a tall order, but I'd rather have PS 3 without broken-ass AI. Seriously, that game had some of the simultaneously best/worst AI I've ever seen. So prone to AI Breakers, but a lot of fights were blatantly otherwise near-impossible.

Night Terror. It needs to make a comeback.
"Can't make an omelette without breaking some children." -BurI'm fine with him being OP, if only the path to get to him in TOS wasn't so hard.
But yeah, can we has SCIII for PS 3 with decent AI and no save issue? That's not too much to ask, but Bamco has already disappointed on ports and actually making fans happy...

Still not a fan of Natsu, replacement or not. But I'm happy to see any new 3D fighters, doubly so for Soul Calibur.
They'll turn your world around
