Apparently Yunseong was too busy being in Korea with Mina and Hwang "teaching the next generation" or some shit according to, repeat after me, New Legends of Project Soul! Because as we all know, you can't ever have a teacher, master or mentor figure as a playable character in a fighting game! (coughGOUKENSHIDENRAIDENTAKUMASAKAZAKIKLIFFUNDERSNBAEKDOOSAN)
Are explosions science?"Amy (Epileptic Trees notwithstanding)"
You mean they never got around to confirming Violamy? :/ I'm legitly surprised if they didn't; hell, she probably has the same VA.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyThe signs are so obvious about that, really. At this point they won't even be able to play it as a dramatic reveal anymore since everyone with a frontal lobe knows Viola = Amy. Their voices (JP and English) are exactly the same, Raphael has unique phrases against her expressing either familiarity or distress and even her animations resemble SC 4 Amy's. Trying to play it as a shock reveal would just insult the player's intelligence and make them very angry.
Are explosions science? What does that have to do with The Godfather?
Also, it'd still be nice to get some closure on that.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyKorea no longer had any relevant part to play after the Soul swords went away. Hence history unfolded like normal for them.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987What if he actually does have one, hence why he's so amazing?
You know all that talk about how the first time he played golf he got 5 holes-in-one then quit the sport? WHAT IF THAT WAS SOUL EDGE AS HIS GOLF CLUB. Those bullseyes he shot at age 7?
Soul Edge took the form of a gun.
Funny thing, the re-written character bios on the Soulcalibur website seem to contradict the idea that Amy is Viola.
Author.I disagree, but on a different note...
I don't see why Hwang got written out for Yun-Seung. What was the narrative purpose of that? Just to have another new character, and one from that part of Asia, in SCII? I'd have rather seen Hwang and Mi-Na develop as characters.
Hell, Seong was replaced as well earlier in the series.
Then I suppose we'll see Patrokles get stabbed by everyone in existence.
He kinda deserves it (and even he knows it).
One Strip! One Strip!Oh... there are so many ways I could answer that question... But I'll just respond with this
.
Funny thing, Daishi originally wanted Soulcalibur V to be Soul Edge II, but Namco rejected that. I would like the series go back to the original setting at 1590 — Lost Swords even said that's where it was set, as Astral Chaos opened a rift through space and time. I'm pretty sure that's what Hoshino is going to do to bring the old characters back.
Author.Well, I admire the class of not saying ''kill Patrokles''.
I mean, few would blame you, so cheers.
I don't even like Patrokles either. Don't hate him, but don't like him, but it warms my heart to see him not get bashed.
I mean, Namco have already thrown him under the bus, so when the creators hate you, it seems redundant to be hated by fans too.
One Strip! One Strip!Shrug. I know I skipped over a page already, but the unannounced fighter is probably Tekken 7's expansion's console release, right?

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! But its console release wasn't announced when the schedule was made.
I'm not saying that it can't be it, but I'm really hoping for Soulcalibur VI. We're in the longest gap between SC games in franchise history, and they haven't even officially announced the game. Back when the poll ended, they said they had something huge planned. Then when Lost Swords was shut down, they told us to look forward to the next announcement. They said they had something to announce "soon", and "soon" is starting to stretch it.
It's pretty obvious the popularity poll was made to determine the best roster for VI. They didn't state that it was for VI specifically, but it's obvious that's what it's for since they said to "vote for the future of Soulcalibur". Well, the time to announce it has come!
Author.

Well, we did get Hilde who was only 18 in IV, and she was one of the only characters to actually age from the time skip, being 35 in V.
