This isn't my idea, it's Officer Sting's. He seems to have left, however, so I guess I'll be doing this.

OK, so everything runs on Rule of Cool and RPG cliches. This is going to be freeform, I guess? See the link to the original RP for more info.

This is excellent. I'm not quite dead, just busy. I have plenty of ideas, and if my personal business is cleared up soon, I may just make a character. PM me if you would like some ideas.

Thanks for trying to revive my first attempt at an RP. Here's hoping it takes off!

Thanks! Means a lot to me. I loved your idea.

Also, I'm not going to be the GM.

Here's what I've got so far:

  • Name: I've never really been good with names. Probably single-syllable
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: Unknown.
  • Species: Presumed human
  • Skills/Powers:...Does 'being absurdly strong' count as a power?
  • Appearance: A mountain of a man, permanently clad in black and red armor.
  • Personality: A Blood Knight whose allegiance belongs only to whoever it is that he considers 'the strongest'.
  • Bio: Not entirely sure what Bio means.

Yay, I love cliches. I'm in:

Name: Cosette

Sex: Female

Age: 19

Description: A petite young lady with blond, flowing locks. Dressed in a long, flowing white robe.

Powers: Healing magic, plus some weak holy spells.

Bio: A young girl as shy as she is mysterious, Cosette has been an orphan as long as she can remember. She has lived in a convent all her life, where she learned the healing arts from the nuns there. On her 18th birthday, she was sent into the world with nothing but the mysterious locket she was left with as a baby...

How's that?

I'd like to give this a whirl.

  • Name: He's only ever been known as "Cadaver" or "That Dead-Looking Guy." He doesn't remember what his name was before his life ended and his unlife began.
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: Unknown, but he appears to be in his mid-twenties.
  • Species: Humanoid Undead
  • Skills/Powers: He's stronger, smarter, and faster than most other zombies. Otherwise, he has all of their strengths and weaknesses. (Immunity to poison, weakness to healing spells, that kind of thing.) He's familiar in the ways of necromancy, but is unable to cast spells.
  • Appearance: He's burly-looking with long, grey hair. He is covered in stitches (from being sewn together) and has a large scar over his right eye.
  • Personality: He's typically The Stoic, but he can be genuinely friendly to those who aren't afraid of him. He is slow to anger, but if he's angery enough watch out.
  • Bio: The being known as Cadaver was once The Dragon to a powerful necromancer. After a time as the necromancer's thrall, he was defeated by a plucky group of adventurers who then killed his master. The necromancer was not smart or powerful enough to turn himself into a Lich, so his hold over Cadaver was broken. Having nothing better to do, Cadaver stole a few pages from the necromancer's notes detailing where Cadaver's body was found and such, and set off to find out who he really was.

Give the world the best you have and you will get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.

Both in.

So...before we start, what should our setting be like?

My idea involves a mysterious princess with magical powers, a lost civilization, time-travel, and saving the world from an Evil Chancellor of some sort.

  • Name: Cameo Barem
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 25
  • Species: Half human, half demon
  • Skills/Powers: A master thief who uses disguises to fool his enemies (He has a lot, it comes with being a thief.) and people he just doesn't want to talk to. He is a master swordsman who relies on speed rather than strength in a fight. I would also like to give him the ability to transform into a demon, similar to Terra's ability, later in the RP. If the GM is willing, that is.
  • Appearance: He is a tall but slender man with brown hair and green eyes. He often wears tight pants and a sleeveless shirt so that he isn't restricted while fighting, when he isn't he usually wears a jacket to cover up and protect him from cold. He has an impossibly large sword. He sometimes carries around a briefcase to hold his disguise stuff.
  • Personality: He is very childish and immature, to the point where he doesn't seem to know even basic facts. This, however, is his greatest disguise. While it is his actual personality, it hides the fact that he is really a deadly thief and swordsman. He also hates seeing children and women hurt.
  • Bio: When he was born his mother left him on the doorstep of a church, hoping to forget her affair with the demon that was his father. His father killed her soon after.

  • While at the church, he never fit in with the other children there. He was not pius or godly in any way. He was always looked after by his father who sent minor summons and familiars to protect him from harm.

  • He was banished from the church by the priests after one of them saw a demon near him. He then adapted to living on the streets, stealing his food and drinks. It was here he met a demon (He didn't know it was a demon, he thought is was just some old hobo who was really good at swordplay.) who taught him swordplay. Upon reaching sixteen, he received his sword, Ender. After this he began his career as a thief.

  • When he was twenty-two, he met someone who would change his life. After a particularly bad job, he found himself bleeding in the street where he passed out. He awoke in the home of a girl who tended to his wounds. She was a healer named Hesta. After seeing the town he was recuperating in was a peaceful place free of crime and wrongdoing, he decided to turn to the forces of good and use his talents to help out by protecting the village from beasts and evil demons that roamed the land.

  • As his bond with Hesta grew stronger, so did he. But, alas, the happiness would not last. His father did not approve of their relationship and sent familiars to kill her. After her death, Cameo began to resent his father. But rather than turn to revenge, he channeled his anger into protecting the world from demons as a travailing swordsman...but he still steals his food. He is blissfully unaware that the demon that killed Hesta is his father, so a cliche "Luke, I Am Your Father" thing would be a cool plot point, unless that's not cool.
  • Other: I realize that he may be slightly overpowered, so I am willing to edit him if need be.

You forgot to make his mom royalty. tongue

Hmmm, definitely interesting (probably been spending too much time on the RP section of this forum lately, but w/e). Looks like a black mage or something of that sort is needed. Mind if I come up with one?

Mind if I just jump in? (Assuming the RP has even started yet...)

If so, see below.

  • Name: Iragus
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 86
  • Species: Dragon
  • Skills/Powers: Can fly, claw at stuff, and breathe fire. That's about it.
  • Appearance: A large, red dragon with a spiky choker.
  • Personality: Generally the nice Team Pet, though not too bright. He doesn't actively try to hurt people, unless he knows that they're bad.
  • Bio: Iragus was long ridiculed by his fellow dragons for being nice to humans, rather than eating them. He ran away from home as a hatchling, and has since been looking for people that don't run in terror upon seeing him. He hasn't had much luck so far, but he's kept at it.
