I've done a thread on what ideal you consider most romantic, so in the spirit of punsmanship I might as well do another one on your romantic ideal.*

So, what do you dream of when you dream of love?

Personally, I think I'm self-defeating in this regard—I don't think I'm trusting enough to romantically bond with a self-reliant, psychologically healthy individual, but I'm altruistic enough that my interactions with a Broken Bird would be primarily focused on encouraging her to become self-reliant. I guess I'm still looking for a better ideal—so, one more reason to make this thread!

Edit: Wrong trope. Not actually certain what the right trope is for a "broken" individual in the sense I'm thinking of.

...I fear my answer would be too predictable.

Think about it. Furiko Maru frequents these board. Moony literally has no other answer if he doesn't want to get randomly kicked out of bed.

I would tell about my perfect lover, but it'd just be too depressing.

Eh, I never gave the idea of "the perfect lover" much thought and consideration primarily because my current focus lies on my studies and other personal matters, and the whole "perfection is kinda impossible to achieve" thing.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.

I don't know what I'd really consider perfect.

Ideally she'd be of interest when we're doing things that aren't romancing.

Also, if I can't take afternoon naps pillowed on her bosom, I am abandoning ship.

Mostly, I think I'm excited by possibility. Having a detailed idea of a perfect lover might close me off to discovering what's really good for me.

Hard to say.

I think I like someone who is really driven, like they know what they want and how to get it, and then actually go out and do (try) to get it. Heh, I prefer that they be obsessed with something that is not me.

Other than that I don't think I'm too picky.

I haven't dated enough to really know what I like in a woman.

Intelligent, sweet, feminine without being 'girly', a little demanding but not unreasonable, some nerdish interests, afraid of horror movies, and likes heavy metal.

Oh, and some slightly obsessive tendencies towards mates.

I was a little alarmed until I heard it happened to your friend.

Actually, I could describe my "perfect lover" as being an amalgation of a lot of women I've had crushes on before, but that's not exactly constructive either.

To be honest... I just want a chick who will love me for who I am, eccentricities and all. My love of fabricating elaborate metaphors, my love of language, and so.

I'd love a chick who is on a similar wave length in terms of being themself and not putting much stock in what society.

But, really, I don't think such a woman exists.

I meet one - maybe two traits in Fairies' Do Not Want list.

Oh well.
