I have enjoyed TV Tropes for years, lost many hours, referred many friends (who lost many hours), and generally gotten Much Laughter from the site. Now I've just published Wearing the Cape, a somewhat tongue-in-cheek superhero novel available on Amazon.com, and would love to have it reviewed for tropes (I tried to do it myself, but I'm too close to it). I can gift it to someone willing to look at it, through Amazon.com. My email address is mgharmon@embarqmail.com

I'm totally interested in this.

I'll see if I can buy a copy soon.

Wonderful! It's available in ebook format for only $1.00 (if you don't have a Kindle, Amazon has easy-access software for your computer, I-pad, Android, etc).

I'll take a look, too. It looks interesting.

Excellent. I'm looking forward to an outside "trope diagnosis." If anyone wants to drop comments outside TV Tropes, my blog page is marionharmon.wordpress.com.

I picked up a copy from the library. My first impressions are that it's a very spartan binding and that whoever did your proofreading was a bit asleep on the job. But the content is, thus far, quite enjoyable.

Enjoyable, if a bit on the predictable side at times. Unfortunately, my library doesn't carry the later books, but I'll see if I can fix that. :)

[up] Truthfully, I'm surprised your library would have the first book. From what I can tell, this one's self-published. Libraries seldom carry self-published novels. They'll see if they can put in a loan request from another library, but I wouldn't really hold my breath on another library having it. That would mean having to buy it, and given the limited (and shrinking) budgets libraries have, they don't really want to spend money on novels that only one person will ever bother reading. So it'll likely depend on whether other people using your library are reading Wearing the Cape.
