@ whoever found the Feministing link. That's why I don't rely on feminist sites for news. Anyway, this seems to bring out so much judgmentalness (is that even a word) in everyone. I've seen people say that killing Bin Laden was like killing innocent non-white civilians in various wars we've had (actual comment), saying that if you are remotely happy that means you are a horrible person and should instead feel sad. Why do people have to turn everything into judging everyone else?
Well, as much as I'd like to hate on Bush because it's trendy, make sweeping generalizations like some country being filled with homeless people and orphans due to a failure to look closer at how the budget is handled, and continually try to paint a definite villain here, I'll just say this:
Call Of Duty: Desert Warfare will probably need a lot more cover on the desert levels.
The thing about making witty signature lines is that it first needs to actually be witty.![]()
Did you miss the fucking point where I said "yes it sucks" but the intentions are different.
Stop pretending like I'm holding bush on a god damn pedestal. I want him to face justice for what he did too. Unfortunately being a former president is a great way to avoid facing your crimes.

@Usht What, from me? Or in general?
@Thorn Intent is not going to make the people in the Middle East feel better, intent is not going to repair that region or heal the wounds caused by war.
I apologize if I implied that you were holding Bush to such a standard.

There's no justice in the world and there never was~So anyway, I just realized that whole wedding thing happened yesterday, but I haven't heard anything about it since the announcement. So there's a major plus.
(wait, was it two days ago? eh)

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Well fuck what do you want me to say? That Osama should have been left alone? That we should all be mustering up forces in Afghanistan and march into Texas? We are celebrating a small victory over the death of someone who hurt US.
If Bush is assassinated and they wanna party over it let them.
War fucking blows, no one is right, everyone is wrong. We cant go back in time and fix things. Let us at least have some shred of happiness, and keep hoping the right thing is done.

Thing is you don't seem happy so much as newly inflamed.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.He caused a lot of deaths, in many countries, and he's dead... its a result.
I think thats all there is to say on this matter. Its a problem, its dealt with, move on, nothing else to see.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.
This this this. We are no where near from done. This was simply a small victory but one that meant alot of people.
Think of it like the statue of liberty. Almost zero tactical value but you don't think people would be upset if it got attacked? It means alot, despite not being much in the long run.
This is a footnote, but a footnote that will be remembered because of how much it meant for people.
Well, as worthless as the Statue of Liberty is, it IS a money maker in an indirect way. Tourist attraction, tours, getting destroyed by disaster movies and apocalyptic movies, etc.
As for killing Osama...it's a really hollow victory. This one guy made an entire country waste countless money and effort, devastate their PR, destabilize a 3rd world nation...and it took this long just to finally get him. *
Holy crap! I just FINALLY noticed how similar Obama's name is to Osama!
Do you think right wingers would use this similarity in presidential elections? Like accuse him of being allied with Osama just for their similarities in name...
I honestly thought people were just afraid of the Hussain in his name.
