Here you go Grayson, a huge pile of issues!
- Name: Janine (Jane) Eristalter
- Gender: Female
- Species: Human
- Rank: Apprentice
- Appearance & casual outfit: Shoulder length dark red hair, green eyes, regular height and an athletic build. As for her clothes, she tries to use the robes of the Order as frequently as possible, using the more regular civilian attire only when she has no excuse to be wearing her robes. In those cases she will often wear loose pants, a simple shirt and a hooded jacket... though on some occasions she'll wear a simple dress at home in remembrance of her mother.
- Personality: Jane is a girl with a very limited control over her emotions... which would prove to be the reigning problem in her life. The intensity of her emotions tends to sweep her away, making her act in the spur of the moment only to regret it later when she regains control of herself. Of course, she hates this aspect of herself as it is completely unbecoming of somebody who follows the Code to give in to anger and strange moods all the time. Now that she's in training under a Master, she does her best to avoid things that will set her off and to remain calm and levelheaded. She actually has a good head over her shoulders and when not caught in her moods she can be very insightful and understanding.
- She also is a very physical person. As such she enjoys combat, exercise... and physical contact with other people, which she tries to avoid as much as possible as it is another thing she considers unbecoming considering her status. To compensate for this she keeps a stuffed toy in her room to hug on her free time... However she finds this terribly embarrassing, so when not using it Jane keeps it very well hidden.
- The last noteworthy aspect of her personality... is a lack of identification with the Code. She knows the words to heart and when conscious about it she tries to follow them to the letter... But she just cannot feel the deeper connection to it than many of her peers demonstrate. As such this makes her terribly self conscious, she wants to be a good member of the Myriad and not disappoint any of many people counting on her.
- History: An only child, Janine was mostly raised by her gentle mother while her father, a researcher, spent most of his time away at work. Her mother was a very warm person, who showered her little daughter with affection... until the moment she passed away due to a sudden illness when the girl was seven years old. The loss was horrible for Janine and her father both. Mark, her father, was then entrusted with taking care of the child. He truly loved her and wished the best for her... but he was a distant and strict person who was also dealing with his own loss. Life was a lot more methodical under the surveillance of her father, who felt uncomfortable with the girl's need for contact from him and just about everyone around her. Mark, as expected, was strict with her, trying to quell that habit from her. Due to this, the distance between them grew ever bigger to the point were they came to treat each other almost as strangers.
- Then... she acquired her own Cloud at age fourteen. That was a very important moment in her life... like many children on the circle she had always dreamed about becoming a Cloud-Bearer. She who had never had something to be proud of, now could become a great person, someone who could protect the people around her... and maybe earn their trust and respect. With that she threw herself into the training and studies with more determination that she had ever given anything else in her life.
- Friends & family: Mark Eristalter (Father), Erina Eristalter (Mother)
- Cloud & fighting style: Jane's Cloud takes the form of a pair of straight single-edge blades with the grip slightly curved inwards at the edge. Her fighting style relies on a barrage of quick strikes, leaving her opponent with not a single moment to breath. She also relies on her athletics to give her an edge positioning herself and dodging strong enemy attacks.
- Armour: While in her armor, she wears a cuirass which covers her torso over the robes of her order. Due to it, the only parts visible of the robes are the arms of it, the hood, and the lower part of the brown garment which extend from her waist down behind the girl. She also wears leather boots and greaves reinforced with metal to protect from her feet to her knee. In a similar design she also uses leather gauntlets reinforced with metal engravings.
- Psionics: Janine has a deep affinity with Dark Aether... which she totally ignores and outright hides in order to train with Light Aether. This derives from her desire to hide her insecurities... even though she knows many great Masters that use Dark Aether, she desperately wants to cultivate a proper image and Light Aether suits these purposes. Because of it, even though it's hard for her, she puts her everything into learning how to use it.
Alright, here I go.
- Name:Johnathan Long
- Gender: Male
- Species:Sauropsida
- Rank: Apprentice under Master Kan Doishi
- Appearance & Casual outfit: He is a blue lizard person with green eyes and a short snout. His muscles are small and weak. He has a scar over his right eye from a knife attack. While training he wears a training outfit made out of wool. When not training he wears a short sleeved shirt and jeans.
- Personality: He is very intelligent and know complex biology and biochemistry, he is often teased for his intelligence. He is slightly depressed but manages to keep a smile most of the time and remain humorous even in the face of danger. He is a vegetarian and belongs to a complex spirit-based religion. He doesn't like to talk about the scar over his right eye.
- History: Raised on a desert planet since he was a young boy, he learned how to raise livestock and work on growing plants in even the deadliest environments. His parents were neglectful and cold towards him. He learned to keep out of most adults way when they were angry and not to disturb others. He spent most of his time working with the local botanist who taught him basic Light and Dark Aether tricks. He became a vegetarian after learning he could eat vegetables and not have to killing.
- Friends & Family: His best friend on planet is a young human named Gray Chance. Gray is a Farmer who helps Johnathan with his special plants.
- Myriad & Fighting style: Johnathan's cloud takes the form of a sword with a silver whip wrapped around it which he uses to immobilize his opponents. He uses the sword for defense.
- Armor: He wears thin suit with more emphasis on speed than defense.
- Psionics: When fighting he uses his wits to lay traps and his Dark Aether to completely immobilize his opponents and temporarily paralyze them. He uses his knowledge of plants and Light Aether to grow food and medicine.
- Other Info: He follows a complex spirit religion which he pays tribute to his ancestors and the universe itself, he believes that all living creatures has energy and he cannot take any creature with a brains life for he doesn't have the right to take it. He never kills anything. He speaks two different languages and keeps many plants growing in his room. He also enjoys music and poetry and writes both in his spare time.
- Name: Shinji Saiyuki
- Gender: Male...and one Female personality
- Species: Human
- Rank: Master
- Appearance & casual outfit: A very effeminate young Bishōnen with platinum blond hair neatly arranged and short cut, with blue eyes, and a single blue spherical tattoo at the center of his forehead with angel like wings attached to it. He is deceptively strong, wiry and tall. He usually wears a white shirt, a black jacket, gray pants, and black boots, and a turban on his head.
- Personality: He is one of the strangest faces out there, having seen his mother, father and little brother die to the shadow, he became quite insane and developed personalities different than "Shinji", so as to preserve his innocence and goodness. He has a naive world view, and he is working toward an unknown goal which, never mind how morally reprehensible of a way he goes about achieving it, makes him look like either an Anti-Hero or Anti-Villain. He has a mentality that people are inherently bad, and that in order to test who destiny prefers, a total war must be waged, so abyss may gaze into light and light may gaze into abyss. He is a Nietzche Wannabe, though, who also thinks that in order to best save the ignorant masses, a few should be sacrificed for the many. He has seven personalities, and yes, one of them is female. They are called The Saiyuki. There is Minato, the cold analytical figure, Kazuo the brutal sadist, and Nadie the poet, and the strongest is naive little Shinji.
- History: His whole family died to the Shadow at a very early age, otherwise, very little is known about this elusive Master level man, other than that he leads a mercenary group of some of the strongest Aether casters out there, all of whom share some common themes in their origin stories with him. He seems to sometimes steal something and then return it with an apology letter and ten thousand pieces of gold. His history is one sporadic burst of activity followed by a period of rest. He is a very...controversial figure, and not many in the Order know whether he is an ally or enemy. It is my intention that sometimes you may meet him as one on one day as an ally and another as an enemy.
- Friends & family: "Mother", "Father" and "Brother", all of them dead to The Shadow.
- Myriad & fighting style: A pair of Gunblades which can connect to a massive wheel which can form on his back, which manifests angelic wings when symbolism demands it. He mainly launches a lot of attack drones from the "Wheel of Nirvana", and these unleash a hellstorm of attacks which make Touhou look light.
- Armour: It is largely skeletal looking armor which has two large hand-like structures as shoulder guards, claw gauntlets, and a skull for a chest guard.
- Psionics: He makes use of incredibly powerful Light Aether, which he calls Sacred Force. He uses it for Shock and Awe purposes and Hard Light blasts of incredible force. However, he also makes use of Dark Aether for Black Hole attack, which drags stuff into a "dark space", where it can be expelled with excessive force at enemies, and related attacks to this.

I will mention to everyone interested, ideally we need more Masters than Apprentices (or at least an equal number), simply because apprentices do not get sent on missions by themselves: thus, if you DO decide to create an Apprentice, please try to select a different player whose created a Master character and have your character be their apprentice. If not, I'll do it for you. The first post will show who is whose master (BTW, this isn't an invitation for players with Master characters to treat their Apprentice(s) like slaves: it's more of a teacher/student relationship, without abuse (9 times out of 10, anyway)).
@chihuahua: Sure, I see no reason not to.
@Mousa: Again, no reason not to. However, you will need to describe what that species is like (and try to avoid creating a supernatural species (though pseudoscience is mostly okay)). I'd prefer it if we can keep the number of species to a minimum, but if you really want to then go ahead.
@daltar: Very good! Your character is in! Though, uh, you mention robes, and, uh, they don't really have a uniform. That said, there's no reason she wouldn't wear robes anyway as more of a personal thing, or that it would be the 'style' of this particular order.
@Duckymanfair: I... don't know what to say. I'd appreciate you working on your grammer a bit, and perhaps using a dictionary? "He cannot take any creature with a brains life," for example, sounds both uncomfortable to say and a bit simplistic: I think the words you're looking for are "He cannot take the life of a sentient (intelligent and free-thinking) creature" or something else to that effect. Also, the Sauropsida are a species which takes after both birds and reptiles, so perhaps you could add some bird-like aspects (such as feathers in addition to the scales or a long feathered tail, a beak instead of a snout etc.) Perhaps something (a little bit) like these (scroll down about half way): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dromaeosauridae
(Just using those as an example of the Sauropsida 'style', obviously it doesn't need to look exactly like them).
Lastly, I'd prefer it if you didn't create a master in addition to an apprentice: the idea is, as I've mentioned, for their to be more PLAYERS with masters, rather than just loads of NPC Masters.
@Nick the Swing: I'm somewhat suspecious after what happened with the Aut Neve roleplay, but I'm finding the idea of your character... interesting. So, uh, I'm assuming Shinji is a Master that went rogue? Well, I'll allow you to play a villain, but don't be to obnoxious about it: everyone who takes part has a role to play, and I'd prefer it if you didn't just take over everything. If you like, I'll PM some of my plans for the roleplay to you and we can bounce some ideas off each other, see where Shinji might fit in?

Understood.
When I thought about a monastic order kind of thing my mind inmediately went flying to robes and the such. I do have to admit though that even though they weren't listed in the description of the RP I may have based Jane a little bit too much on the Jedi.
Still, I'll make the relevant edits to make note that the robes are her thing and not standard.
Edit: Also I know we need more Masters and I would makenormaly be eager to change in order to accomodate... But this one character really needs a guiding figure so I would prefer if she remains an apprentice.

- Name: Komit
- Gender: Technically neutral but identifies as "male"
- Species: Cryo Nocturian (Noctiruans are a species of black lifeforms that feed off of light and move at absurd speeds. Cryo Nocturians live in the poles of the planet Noctine and emit great cold. Some can even freeze the air when moving really fast.)
- Rank: Apprentice
- Appearance & casual outfit: He wears his myriad armour that keeps his form to match something humanoid. This is him in the middle
- Personality: A quiet, loyal and serious type of person who just wants to do his best to please others. he's a no-nonsense type and would prefer to get back to work rather than fool around. He's very tense and has difficulty relaxing but wants to learn how to. He tends to adhere to the rules, but he is loyal to his superiors and friends before he is to the rules. He's a bit orderly, almost to a fault where he's organizing everything. He is fairly distant and can come off as cold, and sometimes wishes this wasn't so. He;s also immensely proud of is skills, claiming very few rare faster than himself.
- History: Komit was always fascinated with seeing the world and serving a greater order. His life, he felt, was too simple of Noctine. His living parent supported his decision to join the order, but he had a bit of a falling out with his lover Cyra. They were still working things out to this day
- In the meanwhile, he moved through the Basics and initiates classes quickly, but was quick to frighten his peers with his dark and shapeless appearance so the first thing he taught himself was how to make himself look similar to the others and use his Cloud to maintain this shape with permission and after he learned how to use it better. He passed the Initiate class with flying colors due to his lack of distractions and obsession with hard work and proper order and is now An Apprentice, eager to go the extra mile to be a force for good in the universe.
- Friends & family: He has a parent and a lover back on his home planet
- Myriad & fighting style: A simple black pole that can extend and shrink like the Monkey Staff and can channel his cold through it. He overemphasizes his speed, preferring to confuse his enemies and trip them up. When that fails, he'll retract his limbs and go "comet mode"
and impact his opponents, or have his staff out to clothesline them. Basically, he tries to keep things simple.
- Armour: It looks like stone, it covers his entire torso to give it a cone like appearance. There is a cap and stone boots and cone shaped parts for the "hands". He wears this casually to maintain a human-ish appearance.
- Psionics: He uses light Aether to expand his natural abilities, enhancing his own speed and increasing his control and range of freezing things.

The Blog The ArtI am sorry about the bad grammar, I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I was really tired. Here's the revised edition.
- Name:Johnathan Long
- Gender: Male
- Species:Sauropsida
- Rank: Master
- Appearance & Casual outfit: He is a blue feathered lizard-bird-person (Not sure how to describe it otherwise, maybe dinosaur-like?) with green eyes and a short beak-like snout. He has a multicolored tail that he takes pride in.
He is slightly depressed but manages to keep a smile (metaphorically) most of the time and remain humorous even in the face of danger.
- When he was 9 his parents died in a car accident and he was sent to a boy's school for as he had no immediate family who were willing to take him. The one adult who wanted him, the botanist, was too old to take him. At the boy's school he excelled academically causing the Order to take notice of him. When he had just turned 14 he received his cloud from them. He quickly finished school and when he turned 16 He was apprenticed to a master of the both Aether, they trained on a Level 4 jungle world.
- At 23 he took the final exam for master and has since become an ambassador to unsafe planets. He is not very well known amongst masters but those who do know him say he has promise.
- Other Info: He follows a complex spirit religion which he pays tribute to his ancestors and the universe itself, he believes that all living creatures has energy and is opposed to taking any creatures life. Therefore, he never kills anything. He speaks two different languages and keeps many plants growing in his room. He also enjoys music and poetry and writes both in his spare time.
@Mousa: Very cool. I like the idea of a species that would typically be connected with Dark aether (naturally absorbing heat and light, for example) and then utilizing Light aether to enhance their natural abilities. Almost like reverse psychology, but, you know, for super powers. You're in.
@Duckyman: Thanks for clearing up his template with regards to both grammer and the layout. I'm assuming he was trained in a different order, then, if he was trained on a different world, but that's okay: there isn't a sense of 'rivalry' or anything like that, people who follow the code tend to respect and care for other people who follow the code. But, uh, yeah! You're in!
@Nicktheswing: Uh, I just realised something: Shinji uses Dark aether to create illusions? Doing so would involve manipulating light (a form of energy), which, uh, would require Light aether. You might need to revise that. Other than that, it still looks pretty cool.
@daltar & Ducky: You guys are officially Apprentice/Master now, 'kay? Remember Ducky, this does not give you license to be an ass.

Wait, you mean like Hard Light? o_O
To be honest, it might be easier just having them as Hard Light constructs that happen to double as illusions: bear in mind, Light and Dark aether are fundamentally opposed. They do not mix well, not even with some sort of catalyst. If he used both, he'd have to use them at different times, so to be honest, you might be better off just having him specialize in Light aether and not using Dark aether much, if at all. There's nothing 'wrong' with specialization: specializing in one will not cripple Shinji.
I'm not sure, Mousa: questions like that should ideally go in the discussion thread. Thing is, we ideally need a Master character who Komit can be an apprentice to. So if one other player could join as a Master, that'd be awesome (I'm playing as various NPC's, though I could create my own character if needed).

- Name: Tropias
- Gender: Female
- Species: Human
- Rank: Master
- Appearance & casual outfit: A young-ish caucasian woman in her mid twenties, with blue hair done up in a pair of large pig-tails and mismatched eyes. Dresses in somewhat... 'eccentric' attire, with large numbers of belts containing all manner of odd trinkets over plain brown trousers and a bright orange shirt that leaves her midriff bears. Also wears goggles over her eyes and a pair of Nice Shoes.
- Personality: Tropias is best described as 'observant', and is quick to act on such through both words and actions. Most people have a very love it or hate it mentality towards her, either spending in-ordinate amounts of time around her or hating her guts, but most agree that her constant quips both good and bad can get kind of annoying after a while. Besides that, she occasionally behaves in somewhat disturbing or bizarre ways, which we worries her fellow Myriad endlessly. No one doubts her ability as a cloud bearer, though.
- History: Tropias led a happy life, albeit one with a difficult beginning. Born into a culture obsessed with physical perfection but possessing a series of genetic disorders (that led to her bizarre hair & eye-colour), she was to be summarily executed. She was saved, however, by the arrival of one Master Izen who was, at the time, on a mission to exterminate a Shadow hive. He rescued her and brought her back to the Golden Jewel with him. To begin with she was a Basic, of course, and lived with a young couple that, unfortunately, could not have children of their own. Eventually, however, she was discovered to possess her own cloud. After training, first with other Intiates and then as Izen's Apprentice, she was admitted the rank of Master, and shortly after which she recieved her own Apprentice.
- Friends & family: "Fast" Edward & Wikipe (adoptive Father & Mother, respectively), Master Izen (former Master).
- Myriad & fighting style: It appears to be a large sword with a spike protuding from the tip of the handle, though some reckon it may actually be a large quill. Its' design is simple, entirely in white.
- Armour: Her armour is quite simple, consisting of a large lampshade shaped helmet as well as grieves & gauntlets.
- Psionics: For the most part, she doesn't use Aether at all. She can do so, but prefers relying on her own skill and ingenuity, though this sometimes leads to being vastly underpowered and getting whooped.
- Other details: May have some sisters, somewhere. She doubts she'd get along with them though.

Roleplay: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13056182090A44228800&page=1#1
What is this?!
A roleplay. But, uh, for more information, it's a small scale Science Fantasy RP set in a larger Space Opera setting of my own devicing. In it, you will play as one of the Myriad, and, armed with your own personal Cloud you will be sent on an important mission (maybe several, if this proves popular enough) to exciting and dangerous alien worlds to defend them against The Shadow and The Reflection, while also trying to teach people The Code that The Order follows. (The setting is essentially Warhammer 40 K meets Kingdom Hearts meets Star Trek, but quite a bit Lighter and Softer than all three combined).
If you have questions, post them in the discussion thread (where they will be answered).
