What chinese-sounding name would be given to a (fictional) martial art style focusing on decapitation and dismemberment, designed for use on my stories version of zombies?

Not sure about style, but for a weapon, Xiě dī zi, the 'Flying Guillotine'.

I think there's a name for that in World War Z. One old blind Japanese man and his disciples are using it. I don't remember the name though, sorry.

Speaking of WWZ, The Zombie Survival Guide recommends the Monk's Spade for its range and ability to decapitate.

Fascinating weapon! I love it when weapons can do things besides killing.

what shall the style's name be?

"Kan Tou Feng" basically means "decapitation style". Feng(high tone) means "style" while with a falling tone it means "gift to the dead". Not sure if it's proper Chinese but you get a bit of a double-entendre.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you are probably right.

you know what? the names of real martial art styles rarely reflect its actual techniques. there's stuff called Plum Flower Fist, Long Fist, Tiger-Crane, X family style, White Eyebrows... yeah.

If you want to make something up, use whatever you want.

Ya, you put fist (quan) at the end of pretty much anything. . .

Hmmm... The one fictional martial art name I like to use repeatedly is "Shinken Densetsu", which is (probably very bad) Japanese for "Legendary Divine Fist". It's just one of those names I like to reuse over and over again for some reason, I guess.
