After 9 days (the current time Halloween's been going):
- City had reached 15 pages at an average of close to 40 posts a day
- Archipelago had reached 6 pages at an average of around 16.6 posts a day
After 50 days (the current time Fair's been going):
- City had reached 37 pages at an average of 18.4 posts a day.
- Archipelago had reached 32 pages at an average of 15.72 posts a day
As I said before, our status quo speed goes downhill with each new thread, especially when it comes to the start.
I'm not including Ren Island because the nature of the thread made it uniquely slow. Certainly both of the current threads are going faster than it, but that's not really much of a benchmark to clear.

I've made another post, but I regret that I am (at least temporarily) withdrawing from CWF. As I said earlier this week, I have a trip coming up. My flight is on Sunday night, and on Saturday, I will probably be too busy panicking and trying to finish packing for the trip. It may be that eventually, I'll have both time and an Internet connection again, and thus will be able to resume CWF, but for now, I'm assuming that it will be several days before I'm able to post again, and I felt it would be unfair to keep Clowns and Cotton waiting on me, so I've given Nioba and Lihiri an excuse to head to the hotel for a bit.
By now, it should be clear to all except the most dense of us that sheep are secretly conspiring to kill us all and steal our pants.I uh... I fell asleep. I've been on a pretty heavily nocturnal schedule these past few days, and I finally let myself crash.
Things should clear up for me pretty well throughout this weekend and next week though.

They'll turn your world aroundI want to try out one of the threads to try out how my character's personality works out (I kind of want to try Halloween the most however).
The problem is that the threads are in full swing and there's a lot happening. I'm also new to how this all works ( I have RP'ed before, just not in this way) so I've been staying out of this.
But now I really want to try this out. Can anyone get me up to speed for the Halloween thread? (I'm looking through the maps and the trope page btw)
Life is hard, that's why no one survives. There's more I want to do in Fair, but I'm pretty busy these days and am wary of over-committing... >_>
Still, I suppose I'll try and post a little bit more, if only to help prevent nrjxll from having a total nervous breakdown because the posts-per-day is such a low number.

Right, so bringing you up to speed, electronic-tragedy:
- Moreena (Corvidae), Michael (Elfhunter), and Dakota and Warren (Sibuna) followed a mysteriously disappearing black cat into the Long Hallway. They're all slightly creeped out by it and are currently exchanging information about their lives. This is probably the fastest-moving group currently.
- Henri (Crystal Glacia) and Jackson (Master of Chaos) are in the Dining Hall having coffee.
- I'm not sure where Masterofchaos's remaining three characters - Nick, Adam, and Marie - currently are.
- Harry (nrjxll and Priss (Night) are sitting down in the ballroom. Right now, there's spooky but slightly off-key piano music audible through here and the entry hall, with no apparent source.
- Nel (Darkblood Carnagefang) is also in the ballroom, but hasn't done anything in a while, though I think Darkblood is still participating.
- Krajn (nrjxll) and Oswald (Ryuhza are in the Entry Hall, but they're probably about to leave.
- Victoria (Darkblood Carnagefang) and Simon (Killer Clowns) are also in the Entry Hall, but neither has posted in a while.
I think that's everybody. The introduction posts for all of these characters can be found linked on the trope page if you need descriptions.
Yeah, yeah, laugh at my emotional distress...

Completely unrelated to Nrjxll's emotional crisis, but man, the English language needs some new words to describe laughter. Maybe it's just me, but there are many ways to laugh and degrees of laughter that I feel I can't accurately describe with words like "chuckle" or "giggle" or "chortle" (screw chortle), yet I hate going into what feels like unnecessary detail for something brief and mostly insignificant.
Well, I'll get this post done in a bit.
They'll turn your world around
Well, there's "snicker" or "snigger", and "guffaw" which come to mind, but I guess they're a bit too situational.
Also, about my post: Yes, I know Erik the Child Lover wasn't that kind of Child Lover.
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromRight, so what I was going to mention before about revitalizing Fair: by my count, we still have 14 free-roaming characters, omitting the hotel plot and including both Adelphos clones and all of the characters who wandered off in their last post (Rufus, Zhi, and Tamara). Meanwhile, though, there's only about a half-dozen permanent stalls left. I think it might help the thread if people were more willing to invent temporary stalls, like in Glacia's original idea - or perhaps temporary characters like the cloaked being I used - as a means for fueling interaction with or between the permanent characters.
Also, I'm going to be very busy tomorrow until about 10 or 11 at night, so I won't post until then. Just thought I should mention that now.

Ok, so about Fair: There's some things I can do which I was going to save till day 2, if we ever got there. But if it's necessary, I could kick start it right away. For the time being, I can re-open the House of Horrors and fuck up Leo's day. Not sure if the former is much use, but the latter should help move stuff along.
EDIT: I'm apparently not allowed to make a "Godlike" hand gesture here.

If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromI guess I'm going to make a post soon introducing my character, but he isn't going to enter through the entry hall since not a lot of activity is going on in there.
He's just going to have quite the entrance, I suppose.
EDIT: It's going to be awhile before I post since things came up.

Life is hard, that's why no one survives.

Just curious, what was the post rate for Ren Island and Archipelago when they started. And also City as well.
