I'm just testing the waters here, but what if the tragic end of the Titanic wasn't because of an iceberg?

I've heard it speculated that it wasn't, and that it just wasn't equipped to deal with sufficiently low temperatures, but they wouldn't admit to a structural screw up like that, obviously.

Now that I have more free time, I may join in with a character of my own. Take a break from writing the dark thoughts of Gant for once.

We'll see how soon I drop in, as I still need some time to finish the initial formulation.

This is this.

[up][up]Those could very well be a part of why it sank, but I am implying something altogether more sinister, and if it might be possible that that would have a hand in the new CDT.

Is anybody else in third class? Flinn may get a little out of the loop there.

Be not afraid...

I think my guy could plausibly be in third class. He's used to living rather economically, and in any case if he's looking for a thief I imagine he'd want to be unobtrusive.

My three characters are going to be in first class. They're aristocrats, after all.

Alexia's from first class too. She could meet your characters but then decide to mingle a little with the second class.

I hope people get that Adrian is often being very hypocritical, else I fear he'll come off as extremely unlikable.

Can you make a new character for this?

Earlier QQQQQ said you could.

Or you could do what I'm doing and modify an existing character to fit the setting.

[up][up]Yeah, I think so. You can create a brand new character to develop in these threads. I think.

Well, how're we supposed to tell the difference between a character who's been around for a year in someone's work and a character who was made out of whole cloth?

We can't. So nothing would be stopping you from doing that even if it was forbidden.

[up]Intially created (named Aulde then) for the Outpost as a "generic mage." Though he's actually gotten promoted since then, taking on the role of the mage hunting down the main characters. The character originally intended for the job was relegated to being murdered by Alice in the prologue. And, to a certain extent, Edmund is sort of being created from whole cloth as well — he's actually dead of old age in my work. But everything Sigmund does is trying to live up to the larger-than-life character, brilliance, and savvy of his legendary grandfather, so setting up his character will give Western Amalgamated and Sigmund a deeper backstory.

^ If you're talking about Titanic, it's already started. If you're talking about Cantina, that sounds fine.

Let me see if I can convince my brother to let me on the laptop for just a moment...

My character is taking up the role of Thomas Byles for the duration of the trip, and shall be joining you all in second class.

It's hard to find good pictures/descriptions of second class accomodations. Is it better if we keep descriptions sparse or use our imaginations?

I found out that there was a piano in the second class dining room. William shall be very happy.

Who knows? I doubt she has a reason to, unless she gets lost.
