It's Jackson. He's the one who leads them, and the one who made the rule for them to Never Split the Party.
The reason why it doesn't seem like that is because they JUST became a team and are trying to figure out what to do, so they're still acting like...well, kids.

Killer Clowns gave me a thoughtful critique via private message, and I've been thinking about it. In the meantime, I don't know how many of you besides Killer Clowns assumed that the Web of Friendship is a government representation. For the record, they are not — they are a Vigilante Militia. I hope that explains a little bit.

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.Yeah, I wasn't too sure. I'd have to review, but I think I remember either Seenarnha or Mequoql calling out Arku's actions based on some manner of law he wouldn't have been familiar with. That colored his impression of them as representing some kind of larger power structure, but thus far I don't think any of my characters have assumed anything as certain.
They'll turn your world aroundLooking like I've got two exams stacking on each other next week, so I'll probably be pretty busy starting this weekend.
It'd be preeeetty cool if I could get some of my writing done before then.
They'll turn your world aroundWelp, not much for me to do except play animal crossing or post in this thread, so lol. Good luck, man.

Thanks, should be a real hoot.
If it's anything like last time, I'll probably be burnt out for a day or a few even after it's taken care of. Kinda why I'm hoping to line that up as much as possible with whenever it's not my turn.
Vital, if you want to play with dual meanings.
Otherwise, I'd just go with responsibility over duty. I don't know if there's any one adjective to cover all those bases specifically.
They'll turn your world aroundYou know, it really is too bad that Maya took advantage of Varla's distraction. Otherwise Varla could have warned her that the device needs to be proofed against Arnaya's telekinesis.
What kind of paralysis are we talking about here? Ragdoll? Statue?
Also, due to the nature of Mayatan psychology, it takes more mental effort to talk than to move or use powers. Why? So John Richman may be recovered enough to talk, but Arnaya will remain mute as she starts testing the boundaries of her recovery.

They'll turn your world aroundI am currently all Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny! from sleep deprivation. Loopiness from insomnia, wheee...

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight. If the thread isn't holding my interest, I find it better to push through—even if only perfunctorily—in the hopes of reaching something more interesting, rather than leaving it where it is. 'Cause then it's just kind of stuck.
They'll turn your world aroundI've been trying to catch my muse so that I can do just that. But right now, first and foremost, I need sleep.
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.Biggest exam out of the way and the other won't be more than a day's trouble come Wednesday, so I'm pretty much free to write.
So free.

They'll turn your world aroundI'm alive, but got a bit of writer's block and a lot of work, so responses may be delayed. Will have something for Lulu this week, though.
In other news, I found out infants enjoy watching me juggle. Or. Fail to juggle. I'm not sure, perhaps my abject incompetence improved the show.

Two nights in a row of worse than usual insomnia, tossing and turning until 2AM. Let's hope this night is an improvement. Also, excuse me while I scold my muse: Bad muse, BAD muse! No adding fanfiction characters to the thread! I don't care how well you think Lovecraftian Superpower Bio-Armor blends with My Little Pony, now is NOT the time to be showing it off! BAD MUSE!
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.

The WFS Hummingbird isn't stealthed as in "you can't see me", it's stealthed as in "good luck figuring out what's hallucination and what's not without breaking your brain or your sensors" — unfiltered warp exhaust wrapped around the spaceship makes a Mushroom Samba-looking Negative Space Wedgie, and it's also mild Alien Catnip for the Howling Void.
Anyway, I'm looking for an adjective to enhance the word "duty" in the sentence "It is the duty of every leader to educate their followers in the matters that help them follow." Something that follows the theme of saving lives, and can reflect why the Web of Friendship places such a high priority on punishing the leaders who don't educate their followers as seen in the following situations...
