@Miss: Oh no, I was shocked because so far she seemed the most tolerant and nicest one compared to Morpho and the vampire twins, so seeing that surprised me, lol.
And yeah, if she told the teens that, it would change their thinking a bit.
Edit: OH COME ON! Again with the page topping?

Probably wouldn't sway Joseph, but as per my last post, he's consigned himself to standing behind whatever Adam & Co. decide.
Blah, I wanna start writing but I need to sleep. Class starts tomorrow, morning and evening. If I feel energetic in the time between, maybe I'll come up with something.
In the meantime, goodnight.

If that's the case, then how come nobody paid attention to the first time that Maequoql said "Before you complain, Nick, I'm not asking Adam to do anything I wouldn't do myself"? Seeing that disclaimer have little to no effect in preventing balking was a large contribution to my writer's block.
Belated edit: And with that news, I finally managed to add the Sick Bay group to my latest post.

Matter-of-factly would be fine.
Okie-dokie-lokie, added. By the way, how long is Novia's cable?
I'm very sorry. I wish you told me that earlier so I could've fixed it.
Wait, are you saying that you were the one who overlooked the "I'm not asking Adam to do anything I wouldn't do myself" disclaimer? The disregard was out-of-universe instead of in-universe? The teens aren't as unreasonable as all that after all? That would explain the question that had me bashing my head fruitlessly against writer's block for so long. And here I was wondering what could possibly explain such reluctance that directly contradicts the bravery they all needed and displayed going to that masquerade in their backstory.

Oh shit, you're at that part? Cool!
Yeah, so I'll take my L. Sorry for causing you so much trouble for the past few days, I feel super bad now, lol.
I'm so relieved and glad that my writer's block is over. Apology accepted.
Oh, and I've been past the masquerade point for a long time now. I've read to the end of what you've written of chapter fifteen at least twice. Did I tell you that I'm a speed reader?

Novia's cable generation ability is pretty much indefinite, but, since it is part of her nervous system, it does hurt.
I'll see if I can get around to posting tomorrow.
That's good to know, so how long is Novia's cable at the moment? Moquoql is trying to keep Novia close, I want to know how close.
...By the way, whose turn is it in the rainforest? Is it my turn anywhere else? Even though I just posted a massive contribution to the story, I still have this nagging feeling I forgot someone.

I'll try to get some writing writ tomorrow. Will, now that we seem to be re-ordering things a bit, do you want to go next in the Forest group or should I?
Pulling a number off the top of my head: three feet. Better make it six feet, otherwise, there may be spine yanking.
I've got a section for the forest, so I'll post next.
I've half a mind to make Akane's outfit a bit squickier by having it made of Genuine Human Hide, or at least a youkai equivalent. Because Akane loathes those who would harm children (there is a Freudian Excuse behind it).

I think I may be starting to get a case of writer's block myself.

@Will De Regio: Is Morag upwind or downwind of Rosalind? Rosalind is about to try to smell where Varg went, and I need to know whether or not she'll catch Morag's scent as well.
And whose turn is it in the Ghost Town?
So yeah, uh, Joseph didn't have anything to say.
Finally, got over my writer's block.
If you want to redo a character in a later CDT and don't want them associated with the interactions their former incarnation had with other characters, just say so and we can have our characters forget. It's been done plenty before.
Anyone want to forget the original Michelle and Rebecca ever existed?
@ Miss_Desperado: I'm wondering where to go with the harem plotline, as I'm getting rid of characters I don't need now. Michelle and Rebecca are gone, but Michelle, Zelena, Julia and Lauren are staying.
That said, I'll be active on this on Friday.
Morag is upwind from Rosalind. It would probably be better to have her be noticed sooner rather than later.
I'm considering having Cody leave the room to get away from the fight about to take place, but wouldn't Akane and the Viporises notice?
Kind of considering bringing Nathan into the thread, but then I'd have a shit ton of characters to juggle, and I have a lot as is, lol.
Kind of in the same position with Rip and Connie, who are technically in town and maybe even near the hotel, but my idea to segue into writing them was conceived months and months and months ago, and I had expected to get to it shortly thereafter. A severely under-anticipated number of delays later, and we come to now, where I just don't feel like I'll be able to fit them in. I'm already divided three ways, and sort of trying to drop that down seeing as I'm going to be doing a lot of solo writing over the next few months, and my writing energy may only go so far.
Miss, we need you for Hummingbird!
And the Forest, but I'm guessing you're busy/blocked up at the moment.
Pyxo, you're up in the butte battle
Cautionary tale: Instant coffee is not the same thing as ordinary coffee grounds and cannot be used in the same amounts. I spent all day and all night yesterday suffering from caffeine overdose. I spent all day on the verge of fainting from dehydration, desperately gulping down water only to pee it right back out again. (I was wondering if I was developing diabetes until I found out my younger sister's mistake in making the morning coffee.) I spent all night tossing and turning, wide awake until four in the morning.
Today I'm going to be busy figuring out how to drink more water and get more sleep, which are mutually exclusive goals if you're pursuing them at the same time. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to write through my attempts to recover and restore my body's equilibrium.

Aiya... the worst issue I've ever had with instant coffee is overcoming its grody taste.
Well, take care with the hydrating and snoozing and general decaffing.
