It's gay and icon mashed together.

I'm recovering from a (hopefully) one-time event of sleep deprivation. Really weird things happen to my brain when I'm sleep-deprived.
In other news, Brain Sewage has renewed interest in Space Liner. I'm waiting for Ladytanuki to post before I move Syrni Sandra and the gang into position to meet Tigris.
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.I'm also kind of fancying the idea of introducing my other two characters before returning to the first set. I think it might make for more interesting reading.
They'll turn your world aroundOnce again I must apologize for my absence. Truth be told, I probably need to pull out a couple of characters just to be able to deal with the rest of the things going on in my life. Like my "actual" writing, which I've really been abandoning. Like my fiance, who I haven't been spending as much time with. If I am perfectly honest, with the things that have come up recently, I really shouldn't be in the CDTs at all.
However, at the same time, I really enjoy them, so perhaps I just need to cut back on how many characters I have. And I've decided to eliminate all the blondes. Lucina, Cormack, Amaranth, and Felicio. Sometime soon I'll be writing a goodbye post for them, but after that I simply won't have the time to write them. Similarly, I will not be introducing characters at the Ghost Town like I said I would.
I know that this negatively impacts Will and Master of Chaos, as with Cormack out of the picture, they'll have to either search for the legendary musket without him, or join a different adventure. Unfortunately, given the circumstance, I basically have to narrow my posting down to two adventures, and currently the most interesting ones to me are the ones Nui is (about to be) in and the one Nyceme and Sindar are in. That's just... how it is.
That having been said, I'll get to posting soon.
Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.
Aw, it's been fun playing with you. I understand, you have your priorities, and you can't play as much as you have been. I can make adjustments to my Space Liner plans to account for Lucina's absence, but I'll still miss her a little. Pulling Amaranth and Pewter out of the mustang herd will be easy enough, too (and frankly the mustangs will be glad to see Felicio go).

Frankly every time I see you in any CDT thread my first thought is usually "How the hell can she keep track of that amount of characters and story threads?"
I have two and sometimes think that's too much, and on the bell curve I'm probably on the less busy end of the human race.
I'm sure no one will blame you with a plate that full.
Stoned hippie without the stoned. Or the hippie. My AO3 Page, grab a chair and relax.![]()

Yeah, it was fun writing her too, and I was looking forward to what hilarity would ensue in the sparring. (Just finished her goodbye post btw.) Well, good news is that I'm in the middle of writing the novel she's in, and with this, hopefully I'll have more time to actually write it.

My mind is capable of many things. But in all seriousness, this is definitely a relief. And hey, at least Nyceme and Sindar are still around.... though I bet Jamie is not happy about the latter.
Nah, it's not your fault. The real asshole is Real Life.
...And I finished my goodbye posts just like that. I know a Bolt of Divine Retribution seemed kind of lame, especially with regards to Cormack, but I couldn't think of much else and Amaranth at least deserved it.
As for Nui... looks Ah, I see it's not my turn there. Same with the Chitara's Wagon group (Pyxo's turn I think).

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true. There are those who know how to make an entrance, and there are
those who know how to make an exit.
Sorry to see so many of your characters vanishing, but I can understand why.
Hopefully that arsehole Real Life is going to let up soon and start cutting people some slack.
Not much of a post for Teri and Sophia, sorry. It's largely just to get them closer to the restaurant and tie with in Peggy, Karl and Cas heading that way.
Been a productive day - worked at both of my jobs, went and picked up a stove for my niece, and tidied up part of the house as the landlord's coming tomorrow (the kids and my boarder had already tidied up most of the place while I was at work and picking up the stove.)
Hmm... On the one hand, it doesn't meet the Balamarian quota for "targeted by international interplanetary lightning spell" (needs more lightning bolts). On the other hand, it does meet the "targeted by line-of-sight lightning spell"... which should put Lily and Bonnie on edge (lack of magical fanfare means they are possibly horribly, "horribly" outclassed).
Anyway, I'm going to have fun with the [Insert Arian city here] Conventions: No cataclysm-class spells (read: no creating volcanoes, no stationary storms, no indiscriminate mass resurrections, no meteors larger than a small automobile, etc). New spells are added whenever some noodles up a catastrophe.

Okay, a Bolt of Divine Retribution. I Didn't See That Coming, and neither did the horses. They ran away.
Ladytanuki, as long as you're retiring characters, could you scan the Space Liner page for characters you aren't using, and move them to the Inactive folder? Daird is out of the Space Liner thread and I already moved Lucina to the inactive folder, since you explicitly named her as one of the characters you're retiring, but I didn't dare touch any of your other characters scattered throughout the ship.
Who had the idea for pig people interacting with the mustangs and Parthenia's stray horse?

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight. The pig people were my idea. That being said, I really haven't been thinking about that plotline much, or about anything relating to Adventure lately, so I don't really feel confident starting and running anything major for the time being.
With that being said, I do have what I hope is a solid idea of the part in the Warpfields. It's just waiting for somebody to actually wander out to the Warpfields at this point. Speaking of which....
Are you still planning to do anything with the Musket plot, Tanuki? Because if not I might incorporate it into the above plans.
As for posting in general: I'm going to be fairly busy for most of today and likely for the next couple days (need to help clean the houses for arriving guests in a week or so). Couple that with the fact my focus is on things other than Adventure and it's likely to be a while before I post again. Might be able to manage something tonight, though. We'll see.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Right, I should get to writing normal English words again. The app is taking up all my hobby time, but I've made a really good chunk of progress over the past four days, so I think I can divert back to the thread proper for a little while. Gonna work on another intro post I s'pose. Not entirely sure where to set it though. Not yet.
They'll turn your world around@Kkutwar: What do you mean, ignored? Justin, Valerie and Vindex have had telepaths spying on them this whole time, but roughly half of what Justin, Valerie and Vindex do aren't quite worth a visible reaction. Yes, they're being noticed and judgements are being made, I just left out mentioning it each and every time because repeating some minor variation on "Maequoql (did something thoughtful) as she pondered what she'd just learned" gets old.
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.
OK, I get that you're getting exhausted, but why do you feel like there's no point to half the stuff you're writing? I already explained that I'm not ignoring that half. Once my telepaths have finished ruminating on everything you've revealed about Valerie, Justin and Vindex, they'll counsel Arilay on what to do next.
Speaking of which, Murquoql's psychic radar automatically scans for anything that could conceivably be used as a weapon (including living or dead body parts) and estimates how likely it might be used as a weapon, factoring in the most immediately mind-accessible intents of the characters around her. She'll be headed to the hotel very, very soon, so for everyone who has characters in the hotel, I need some reminders: What will she notice?

Off topic but I keep seeing your name as Miss_Despacito, lol.
On topic, I don't really know if there's any characters still at the hotel or if Val and the others are still there.
Also, Mael will be coming back but I'm not sure who to have him interact with first.
