It looks like we've got a little spat on our hands. To arms! To arms!
I mean... Will, it's your turn, whenever you see fit.
It's an opportunity that isn't always available, so it's nice to take it when it is. Plus, I've been working on these little plots for over a year now. They might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but I hate to just dump them off a cliff so close to the conclusion. And I do like the setting. Reminds me of hiking trips or vacations I've gone on in the past.
They'll turn your world around@ladytanuki: what say you on wrapping up the Frontier thread? It seems that your arc is close to a close with the sleeping/comatatose students now awake and most of the others back in town.
@Willderegio and others: it also looks like the Joseph/Omar plot is close to finishing, too, once things are resolved one way or t'other at the cave/mine.
How many other arcs are running?

I was planning on seeing the most prominent events get closure, and then backing out of the thread with the likes of Connie and Davey getting dinner or something.
Story wise, they're slated to stay another day at least, but like nrjxll says, there's not enough interest left to make that happen. Plus Rip has been stuck in the desert since November, which kinda screwed up the development of his plot and further stuff for the other two to do.

They'll turn your world aroundI'll likely post for Noire and Midnight Stitcher first. Overall I've just been in an odd mood (I wanted to be either a dad or official creative before my latest birthday), and it helps my creativity by watching & playing things. Though doesn't seem like Caleb & Half have done anything this turn in the Graveyard yet.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Waiting on ladytanuki both at the wagon and the Doctor's office.
The only other places I've got characters are The Tipsy Toad and the Livery Stable (before going to The Tipsy Toad) and they're the only recently-active characters there - I doubt anyone aside from me is interested in what's going on there so I'll just be glossing over it when they next interact with other troper characters.
At least I've written, for my own sake, what's been happening there while other things have been going on so I've got an idea of what everyone has recently experienced/learned.
I generally like it when a thread has an actual conclusion instead of just ending. A sense of closure is nice.
I'm also not entirely sure what I'm going to do for Space Cruise, since I have a lot of characters and not all of them would fit super well in that sort of setting. I'm also probably only going to use one character for this thread, since I don't think I could handle multiple characters in multiple threads at the same time. Hopefully this one will be easier to write for due to the more laid-back atmosphere.
She turned her eyes to see the ship's fins - they are rising upward to the ring again...
One of the best threads I think I've ever had, if not the best- at least for me- was Capital. That thread's setting was extensively worldbuilt, with plenty of details as to it's precise areas and how it all functioned. The setting is very important to supporting character interaction. Besides, certain characters will fit more in one kind of setting than another. A lot of my characters from Avanterra are adventurers, who really wouldn't have much to do in a low-key setting.

yeyI don't really think there's all that much worldbuilding in the space thread. It's just a luxury cruise in space.
She turned her eyes to see the ship's fins - they are rising upward to the ring again...With extensive detail required on all the little aspects of a spaceship, because space liners don't actually exist.
I don't like Like Reality, Unless Noted as a normal writing trope, but for something like this with characters from tons of different settings, I think it's kind of useful.
I'm not intending to start a serious debate, though - merely noting why I'm not enthusiastic about Space Liner despite writing science fiction.
I don't think we really need to explain how the spaceship works, because that's unlikely to actually come up in the thread? The "space" part is mostly just set dressing. It's not really any different than if we just had a regular cruise ship on Earth.
She turned her eyes to see the ship's fins - they are rising upward to the ring again...

Oh yeah, I know the feeling. Well, whenever you think you're ready.

They'll turn your world aroundI'm planning on dedicating today to posting (with a priority in Frontier), so that'll be up soon. I think my posting will mostly be on weekends now and maybe Mondays, as right now besides work, I'm also dedicating a lot of time to recording footage for a Let's Playnote , since it's of a game I'm borrowing from a roommate who'll only be around until March.
Also, update on Pokemon Moon: I just finished catching all the Ultra Beasts, and I named one of the Pheromosas Gabriel, after KC's Gabe. Because, y'know, it's a white-clad high-heeled beauty with Super-Speed and high attack power. I named another one Lucina after Sinistrina's twin sister, who Gabe has been mistaken for a couple of times.
EDIT: After reading Will's post about Witch Species, I suddenly realized that all three species of Orenya could qualify as such, since they all have a physical Third Eye that forms most of the basis for their use of magic (that and prolonged exposure to a Background Magic Field). Nemaforte briefly explained it in Frontier, so I feel justified repeating that info here.
Okay, so what, are we having a song-posting party? Um, okay... I guess I'll contribute my current top favorite song.

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.I'm not seeing that an over-abundance of world-building has been done on the Space Liner - detailed map showing where everything of importance is, sure; links to resources that give a better idea (for those of us that have never been on one) what a luxury liner looks like, OK. But as far as how the science works, what drives the ship, why it is a ship rather than a more realistic spacecraft, how the artificial gravity works etc, all that's been glossed over and it's enough to say "I went up three floors from my cabin to the wherever and did so and so..."
The setting is more like "Like the MS Queen Elizabeth Unless Noted" and it exists merely as a place for characters to be and interact.

I have two characters that can only appear in threads like Frontier, so I'm waiting on that rather eagerly.
