Format it like this: [[ youtube:video ]] where "video" is replaced with the numbers and letters in the URL of a You Tube video that come after the "v=" without the spaces between the brackets. You can do it on mobile too.

Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.
Thanks! Now I can finally upload my favorite Neil Cicierega song.
Ok, Youtube is being a bully right now but I think I got it.
FINALLY.

No problem, happy to help!
Also, I've lost track of new thread talk, if anyone is willing to provide a quick overview, they'd have my undying gratitude.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.^^^ Is there anyone else here who just... can't laugh at Neil Cicierega mashups? I can see why they're gut-bustingly hilarious to my friends, but they never have that effect on me. Maybe it's because I unironically enjoy them so much that my brain just goes "oh hey this is catchy" and forgets to register that this music is in fact an auditory shitpost.
I looked up this video because I thought David Byrne was wearing the same glasses as Neil. Close enough I guess. And I do very much enjoy this song. It confused me at first but it's grown on me.
Also, I'm thinking about switching out Ren Yangchao for someone else. Did some rethinking on what I want out of them as a character and it's... uh, not this. Then again, if I'm going to have a character's personality suddenly turn around, I guess Dream is the thread where it would be the least weird.

The last battle's curtains will open on stage!Maaan, judging just from the list of the sub-locations, Space Liner already feels huge and very detailed. This is gonna be awesome.

Spiral out, keep going.Cool stuff, a lot of things I wouldn't typically listen to (Talking Heads excepting; got into them in a big way last year along with R.E.M., who are my current favorite band—and retired, of course), but it's nice to branch out once in a while.
Keeping with that theme, I don't typically listen to much rap, but I love this little treasure from '02. Probably for its straightforward message and awesome production. Seems particularly relevant these days.
On topic... ladytanuki, are you out there anywhere? They'll turn your world around
@Snowy: Depending on how you want to change Ren Yangchao's personality, the change could actually be more disruptive than an entirely different person appearing in Ren Yangchao's place at the table the moment someone looks up. Or not, since not too many of their conversations with characters currently around have gone too far.
We like to go on about how disruptive it is to randomly throw ice golems and kaiju into places where they don't belong, when characters whose basic personalities haven't been hammered out can be just as, if not more disruptive. In this case, I could roll with either one. Your call, really.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."I shall concider posting for Dream II sometime today, after putting some finishing touches on my post/creating a section for progressing Snow Castle. Also, I shall be including a meme!
Meanwhile I shall be working on my recently acquired Puella Magi Pupa Magi. Seriously, does anyone else get Puella Magi vibes from Magearna? The Moon Pokedex entry for it makes it sound like an Incubator science project.
Since I'm talking about Pokemon, here's my music pick:

Since we're talking about music: I dunno if anyone here reads StoryShift, but this Storyshift Megalovania
is freaking amazing. Or at least it's been stuck in my head for the past couple days.
I like Neil Cicierega's mashups when they actually sound good, like "Daft Mouth", "Modest Mouth", "Bills Like Jean Spirit", and obviously "Bustin". From his new album, I'm pretty partial to "Smooth"
.
As far as serious music goes, I recently came across "Your Ex Lover Is Dead"
by Stars. I've listened to a few of their later albums but not really any of their older stuff. I feel like very few songs these days have this sort of sound to them. And I always love when songs have a proper outro instead of just ending after the last chorus.
Snowy Foxes, I'm somewhat impartial as to what you do with Ren Yanchao, seeing as my characters haven't really interacted with them all that much. I was planning on having Min talk with them about Seilaan, but it's fine if you want to pull them out.
On a semirelated note, recently I've changed the setting Min's from a lot as a result of merging it with my fantasy/solarpunk setting, Crestfall, which I've been working on since last May. Min's specific location is relatively unchanged but there's several fundamental things about her world that are completely different now, including the existence of magic.

She turned her eyes to see the ship's fins - they are rising upward to the ring again...Actually, Violet, let's go with your plan with Min. It gave me an idea. I think I can post by tonight. Kind of a busy day since I have to man my writing club's table at the club fair for two straight shifts, but most of my homework is out of the way already so I'm anticipating some free time.

The last battle's curtains will open on stage!Man, at this rate it's going to take months for Frontier to finish. Hopefully splitting up the bed and breakfast people helps a bit on that end of things.
I think I'm gonna try sticking to three-writer groups in the future.
They'll turn your world aroundI know, it's just the cycles have been consistently taking weeks to complete. I wouldn't mind since I've enjoyed Frontier and I'm gonna give Space Liner a pass, but most of you seem excited about it, and I'd really like to see Frontier to it's proper end.
They'll turn your world aroundI've got very little left to do with Frontier - basically get Teri and Wolfe to the saloon to meet up with the others and then I'd like to have Aubrey catch up with at least Connie to say thanks before heading out.
As for Alpha, Kaitlyn, Gwion and Finn, they really aren't up to much aside from interacting with others. When Iraal and Scents no longer need/desire Gwion's presence, that's him wrapped up and Kaitlyn's arc finishes when things at Doc Carson's are resolved; the other two are pretty much free to depart any time as they're tied to the Mad Bastards' arc, which is nearing its end, and Gwion.
Would like to see it finish properly, anyway.
I'm just waiting on Vicky and Oswald on the wagon and Amanda, Yamiko and Lupin at Doc Carson's.
As for Space Liner, I've got some great ideas for that and for the Adventure-Friendly World setting, I've actually got my first post half completed and it's not anywhere near closing-time in Dream II

Re: Fontier: To be honest, I'm kind of getting tired of it. As in we've been dragging the ending for WAY too long and we really need to close it. It's becoming a little tiresome that we're still in the same spot and the issues (up until now) aren't resolved yet.
Also I really want to go to SPAAAAACCEEEE already, lol.
I am kinda annoyed by how slowly frontier is beeing wrapped up, mostly because all I remember of it is tge plotline I introduced my characters to being called off
. But if people really think it should end before any new thread starts, who am I to say no?
I'm starting to get a little impatient waiting for Space Liner myself, but considering I'm not in Frontier feel free to ignore me.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Just curious, but do people see finishing threads up nicely as something very important? I can't know that personally, given that three of my character plotlines met an abrupt end and one basically went in the opposite direction I originally planned to, making it harder to invest myself in the current threads.
EDIT: and I may be more than a little impatient, since I have a character I cant really introduce to Dream.

"The dried flowers are so beautiful, and it applies to all things living and dead."

Ok, I've been on the site since 2010 and I still don't know how you guys are embedding videos....
How do I get in on the action?
Edit: I DIDN'T WANT THIS TO BE A PAGE TOPPER.
