I've been busy all day, so I just got caught up on the Dream post cluster. Now I have some work to do! It might take some time for me to get my posts ready, though. I keep getting sidetracked...
Noble and worthy virgin warrior. I think that might be a semantic description of Cynthia.
All this talk about deities and Eldritch Abominations makes me want to throw one into the mix...
In my experience, that tends to go poorly in CDTs. Unless their presence is a rather subtle one, I suppose.
Personally I find my Abomination characters an absolute delight to write for, and I make it a personal mission to treat every character of mine as a person- So I never really have problems with them being interactive. Though honestly, I do admit Golden Being's Absolute nature is far more eldritch than my usual. So... Kind of looking for a justification for him & Armory Knight leaving soon to prevent this dragging and leaving material for the 2nd encounter with them.
Edit: Did I explain the part about Armory Knight pointing his arm at Patches? He legitimately was trying to reach out to her, thus Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! once the enchantment began affecting him, causing Golden Being to "instruct" him to attack Sentinel instead.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I may be a while. Tomorrow is my first final (followed by two back-to-back on Thursday), and I'm having a difficult time studying.
They'll turn your world around@Novis: Can we expect a Graveyard post this weekend? Things have been confusing during the fight scene and joining of the two groups, but I believe it is your turn to post.
Not that I want to rush you. The current events in the thread are not something that can be easily covered in a few paragraphs after all.
"The dried flowers are so beautiful, and it applies to all things living and dead."And that's done. Don't be surprised if I think twice or thrice before planning anything that big again...

I, er, have no idea. For the sake of argument, we'll say it's visible but not skyline-dominating.
I hope to have a post done by tomorrow sometime after my finals. The longest part is almost done, though it's probably going to take another post after this one before either Connie or David reemerge. The other sections shouldn't take as long.
Oh, and Wolf, do you think you're going to come up with something for Gwion, Teri, and Wolfe, or should I just post for Oswald again?
They'll turn your world around![]()
In which case I can safely have Aubrey completely oblivious to it through being more intent on finding what he needs in town than focussed on the sky.
Hope to have a post for the wagon group up later tonight - can't promise it'll be anything spectacular, though.

I might just end up passing out here, long day, sorry folks. But my semester (except grades) is done with, and nothing else should slow me down except general laziness.
They'll turn your world around@Ryuhza: Congrats! Soon enough I'll be in the same position... Then we can be lazy and delay posting together...
Not entirely dead.
Thanks. Now it's just the dreaded wait for the posting of final grades. I felt like I flubbed my way through each of these tests (no good study material for any of them), so I'll be happy just to pass.

Welcome back!
...anyways. Am I up in the Forest of Bone? Actually kinda hoping to find a way to remove Ethoya from that — while it has been great, I've got different character for Dream I intend to throw in soon, and I'd like to have one less plot, especially for a minor/experimental character like Ethoya, to worry about to balance it out.
Yeah, just you and Tanuki need to post. Wished Ayako had a reaction of some to The Midnight Stitcher. Oh, and if anyone's interested I posted that Superhero Academy roleplay I mentioned on tvtropes.
Speaking of new things, who is the replacement character? Are they gonna be in The Eldritch Factory or somewhere else?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."
A woman currently in an unusually dour mood. Since, aside from a few neat tricks, she Fights Like a Normal, she'll likely avoid the Eldritch Factory and similar such places.

Most of Sentinel's body is made of said matter, which is part of how she shapeshifts (the other part is very complex and has to do with a... gruesomely deep understanding of how a body works).
What Sentinel tried to do after forming the swarm was to replace part of whatever matter composes Armory Knight with shadow-matter of her own make, which would also make her able to explore the fact the Golden Being is linked to Armory Knight by not only making Knight more vulnerable, but creating a (possibly temporary) backdoor for her spell to reach its plane (as normally her power requires a physical target or channel) and affect it directly by opening it for two-sided interaction with a plane she is more capable of dealing with.
She has also partially dissolved reality in the area and reformed it in a way that makes it closer to the "shadow world", the plane "beneath" the universe I spoke off before. More specifically, a part of it that is deeply linked to the Saint's Compass, the island where her temple/library/fortress/prision lies.
After that, the mists gave it a physical anchor. What physically affects this anchor affects the Golden Being, but not as strongly, and it also makes said being more vulnerable to Sentinel's magic, who now can affect it more directly. Also, it now has a face she can spit on if it gets too arrogant for her tastes.
