Ah, but it's precisely the page topper I was hoping for!
I'll try to post something myself tonight as well.
They'll turn your world aroundAll right, cool. The only other thing is that there aren't any open cave walls where they are now. I guess I didn't make that clear yet. I've kind of been delaying doing a big room description until I've got time to do adequate research, but I guess It'll happen in my next post. Just no guarantees as to when that'll get done.
They'll turn your world aroundI know Killer Clowns is busy with college and stuff, but I'm still waiting on him in both threads... in Frontier for Zekarim to decide what to do with Zuri, and in Dream II to have Gabe react to Sinistrina's possibly-too-personal remark about Lilith. Fortunately it will serve as an excuse for me to put off Yamiko's final manor post, and I just came up with at least a temporary solution to Zuri's motionlessness (shown in the post I did earlier today).
Still kinda interesting that there are two Liliths mentioned in Dream II - one being a goddess who invented soul synchronization, the other being the hell-bound lover of Gabe. So much for the One-Steve Limit - though that was broken no less than three times in Frontier.

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.I'm pretty sure the "two Liliths" thing happened in Resort as well. Or at least, the One-Steve Limit was broken in some way, I'm not sure if it was that exact same name.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...I think we're waiting on Snowy,
because Collen said she didn't have anything for Min or Varris to add.
Well I'm not waiting around anymore.
...I'm doing homework. Like some kind of nerd. I make myself sick.
They'll turn your world aroundAgh, I feel kind of responsible for that. I'll try to pick up the pace on the next post so your characters can have a clean departure sooner.
They'll turn your world aroundWhile I liked the new post on the Graveyard, I now feel the greater number of characters will make it harder for me to develop mine, and the recent arrival of Friedrich forced me to rethink my plans yet again.
"The dried flowers are so beautiful, and it applies to all things living and dead."There's also a lot of people in Frontier waiting on me.
Which brings me to my problem. I've shouldered a shitton of responsibility, but right now... I just can't write a damn sentence for it. And it's been, fuck, how long since I last posted for it? I just have zero inclination to write for the CDTs right now when I could be working on my actual work, but I also don't like leaving people hanging, just on principle. So I'm trying to figure, honestly, what's the fastest way to pull myself out of this corner without ruining anyone's day. Any suggestions?
My suggestion?
First, do something about the soldiers guarding the Dead God, and Suela and Brin. My thought is having the Dead God or something it's warped suddenly attempt to kill some or all of the soldiers (set off, maybe, by one of the soldiers' weapons misfiring, or by nothing at all) forcing Suela and Brin's expedition, and whatever of the soldiers wishes to survive, to GTFO if they don't want to become the Dead God's next victims. As they flee, the Dead God gives some kind of indication that's detectable from outside its attacking distance that it's actively hostile. Suela and Brin decide it's not worth it and tell everybody to stay away from it or even tell them to warn the town, leave the thread, and then all of a sudden the threat display stops.
And then you just have to figure out what to do about the Dead God itself. Leave it up for grabs, with or without some notes in a Pastebin or the Sandbox thread if you had a plot planned for just the exploration of the God itself (or feel inclined to write notes about this at all), make it disappear, whatever.
Does that help?
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."I was going to suggest something similar. Wake the Dead God, but only a little bit. Enough to let everyone know they have to get out of there right now, and essentially leave the area inaccessible for the rest of the thread. Then have Brin and Suela part ways with the rest of us, seeing as the expedition is over. BUT, before you do that, have a soldier tell Blair to release Zuri's astral projection, for ladytanuki's sake.
Not entirely dead.My characters were sent as scouts by a group of very advanced Precursors to investigate if the Dead God was a threat, so I have some ideas of how to give direction to the plotline after its almost awakening, if no-one else volunteers.

Or just leave her projection there so she can slowly die. There is an important death-related event I could potentially test out for Zuri... though it might come out of nowhere because it revolves around her backstory, which I never really got to expand upon in Frontier. If things do go haywire with the Dead God, I don't think there would be anything more for her to do anyway. Plus if Zekarim leaves the picture somehow, that doesn't give Blair much incentive to keep the field up in the first place. I'll admit, the "Dead God being inaccessible" part would be a huge inconvenience to the wagon group (especially Iraal who wanted to investigate it), since they probably wouldn't get anywhere near the valley before shit hits the fan. Although the awakening could be a reason for them to reconsider the whole expedition...
And actually, initially I was planning on saving Friedrich for Express, but then there were a couple of other characters I wanted to put there instead (plus my Orenyan musical quartet), plus I realized the graveyard in Dream II would be a very suitable place for him to show up in. In fact, I'm curious as to how his appearance would interfere with Eterna Memoria's plans... especially since due to parts of his backstory I haven't revealed yet, I anticipate him and the Sentinel developing quite a rivalry (so maybe that's what would interfere?). I was thinking of just having him follow everyone to where that knight is and worry about introductions later, honestly... (And the edit I just made to that post was just correcting some errors in describing Friedrich's appearance - literally just replacing two words.)
@KC: With regards to Gabe in Misery Manor (although that's Dream II, not Frontier), assuming this applies to his arc as well, yeah, I was kind of hoping for tension to really rise between him and Sinistrina at this point, maybe even escalating to an epic battle between light and darkness. If nothing else, one possible way for him to get out of it is for him to open up the portal he was thinking about earlier, then have him somehow get pushed into it, causing both him and the portal to vanish. That would be kind of inconvenient to me because it would avert further development on Sinistrina's side of things (though it would allow more focus on Half), but who knows. Plus there's always the option of just flat-out dropping characters that aren't as knee-deep in plot so you have less to focus on.

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.
Your character messed up my plans because now that both he and Patches are on the same area, both my character's curiosity and protective instinct are going to overpower her desire to change her body, something I wanted to write for multiple reasons, and because the more characters there is the harder to write in my introspection-heavy style.
And I wouldn't bet on them becoming rivals yet, as I showed very little of Sentinel. Her spirit is like her current body: part looks almost human but it is just the tip of the iceberg.

"The dried flowers are so beautiful, and it applies to all things living and dead."I figure I'll probably take a CDT break after Frontier. I've got a pretty heavy workload this semester and I'm not really interested in Dream or Express.
And sorry about not posting yet Masterofchaos. Like I said, heavy workload, and there are some limited time things happening in other spaces that I want to take advantage of. I doubt I'll have a post out by tonight unless this homework gets a lot easier all of a sudden.
They'll turn your world around

Yes.
Edit: ...wow, that's a bad page-topper.
