I'm usually the one to draw up the stats once I'm given a vague idea of what the Players wants and will work on adjusting them to the player's wants should there be any issue, but if you're curious the break down is like this;
Armour Class [Heavy, Medium, Light, Ultra-Light] determines both health [200%, 150%, 125%, 100%] and number of actions that can be taken each turn [2,3,4,5].
Heavy Frames are given weapons that can do more damage per action but Lights have more actions, so it equals out to an average of about 60 damage per turn. The disadvantage for Heavies is that they have to choose between shooting and moving, leaving them either weakened or easy prey for snipers.
The weapon numbers; 0,0,15,15,20,25 for example are listed after a weapon. Each Action spent on attacking gets a dice roll, whatever the dice show is the damage done; a 4 in that case would do 15 damage and a 6 would do 25. Different weapons have different abilities and spreads that change how they should be used.
There's a bit more on what actions can be taken and comparing frame armour types and how to best use them but that covers the jist of numbers.
Edit: Also, yes. We are accepting.

- Pilot Name: Damian Van Villas
- Callsign/Title: Lycan
- Side: Centauri Confedaracy
- Gender: Male
- Age: 19
- Appearance: Brown groomed hair, brown eyes and average but muscled frame. Posture of a knight and conveys himself with an arrogant air. Manicured looks of a young nobleman and usually dresses in the same vein
- Personality: Honourable, Chivalrous and Disciplined, a stereotypical military and Centauri purist. He has a harder time loosening up than most people and will always follow orders unless they are immoral.
- Backstory or other information: Born into the politically and military orientated Lower House Villas, Damien was bred for a position in the army. Spending most of his younger life at prestigious military schools Damien saw very little of his family giving him a more distant personality than most. Damien graduated his school with military and academic colours and honours and was immediately placed into the Centauri's AMF pilot training programs after only a brief stint in the infantry. Due to both the state of war and Damien's aptitude he was graduated and quickly given a post, his AMF specifically requested as a graduation gift.
- Frame Model: SF-TS 2 B 'Thunderstroke' http://mythrilaces.wikia.com/wiki/Thunderstroke
- Armaments:
- Claws (Standard)
- Arcon WR-07 Plasma Rifle
- Appearance: Distinctive 'Thunderstroke' model painted steel grey with navy blue gilding
- Size: Stands 18.4 metres tall at 56.4 metric tons
- Upgrades/Customization:
- Damien's mech has been stylised to look similar to that of a wolf, the head being replaced with that of a snarling wolf's and paint and gilding used to simulate the look of fur
- The largest customization was the inclusion of activated electro-magnetic power couplers designed to momentarily send a power boost at the cost of faster overheating and a chance to short the AMF's systems, activation of which is characterised by a low rumble similar to a wolf's growling
Final Product:
Thunderstroke Armour Class: Medium (150%), 3 AP
- Claws: 0, 10, 10, 15, 20, 35
- Arcon WR-07 Plasma Rifle: 0, 0, 15, 30, 35, 40
- Mounted: Costs no AP to switch to or from Plasma Rifle.
- Overcharge: Activation Costs 1 AP. Frame Gains An Extra AP For Two Turns, Afterwards the Frame Over
Heats reducing total AP to 2 for One round.

"Insert philisophical/funny rambling here"Alright, Characterwise;
You're a bit similar to Melonhead's Nikolai, though reading this he seems more subdued than hammy. Still, I'm putting you in with the second group to avoid too obvious overlap.
I'd like the wealthy to be within reason, higher than "Upper Middle Class" but not like Fortune 500 or "Owns a company and 3 mansions". The Centauri are sort of Swedish Monarchist Socialist, with the only capitalist havens being border worlds.
Finally Graduation Present is unlikely, The military would look oddly on someone showing up with their own tank. More likely it was assigned on special request, with parent's names and money being used as leverage.
As for Frame;
Thunderstroke was designed for the main game and has a lot of customization and specialization that the main game better allows for. Here, I prefer to limit the basic frame allotted to players to; Two Weapons [typically; Long Range and Melee] and one customization system. The player who designed the Thunderstroke and Fulmen seemed to be trying to get away with as much as possible in the detail [not that it's a bad thing, just that it creates balance issues in stricter games like my own].
Here's a list of possible Traits, Unfortunately I need to limit this to one for the sake of balance:
- Stealth: Activation costs 1 AP. Until the player is hit, all attacks targeting him take -2.
- EM detection [This is a First]: +1 Against Stealthed Units
- Limiter Removal [Your Customization]: Activation Costs 1 AP, May Be Done Once Per Battle. Frame Gains An Extra AP For Two Turns, Afterwards the Frame Over Heats.
Weaponry, this is what I would offer;
- Claws: 0,10,10,15,20,35
And
- Arcon WR-07 Plasma Rifle: 0,0,15,30,35,40
- Mounted: Costs no AP to switch to or from Plasma Rifle.
- High Pen: Extra 5 Against Medium and Heavy, -1 Against Light and Lighter
OR
- 5x Repeating Mini Lasers: 0, 0, 5, 5, 5, 5.
Personally I envision as the closest I can get to the baseline by our mechanics. If you prefer a different build with the blocks above or a different spread with the rifle damage, I'm open to negotiation;
Thunderstroke Armour Class: Medium (150%), 3 AP
- Claws: 0,10,10,15,20,35
- Arcon WR-07 Plasma Rifle: 0,0,15,30,35,40
- Mounted: Costs no AP to switch to or from Plasma Rifle.
- +1 Against Stealthed Units

Okay thanks for the advice, I think I'll go with your above suggestion but in place of stealth detection I'll go with the Limiter Removal. A few things though, instead of being a once a battle power can it just have a really long cool down. Also the claws seem a little lacking in damage dealing considering they remove the mechs ability to weild anything but I'll be happy run with them as is if that's what you want.
As for the Arcon WR-07 can I go: 0,5,10,25,40,45, The excuse being it's operating on a new targeting system.
And what rank/division/unit will Damien be?
I'll fix up my armaments, etc. once we have a final product.

"Insert philisophical/funny rambling here"Claws are secondary to the Rifles. I can switch around damages but basically, you're not at much disadvantage for them mechanically. Flavourwise they probably have a few more advantages.
Overcharge has been modified, the way it is now the AP equals itself out but gives you short bursts of activity which allow you to be a lot more flexible before forcing you to retreat and dig in. It's weird to balance but the way it's designed now, it can be kept active almost constantly in exchange for a turn of over heat reducing you to 1 AP [including the cost of activating it again] every 3rd turn.
Thunderstroke Armour Class: Medium (150%), 3 AP
- Claws: 0, 10, 10, 15, 20, 35
- Arcon WR-07 Plasma Rifle: 0, 0, 15, 30, 35, 40
- Mounted: Costs no AP to switch to or from Plasma Rifle.
- Overcharge: Activation Costs 1 AP. Frame Gains An Extra AP For Two Turns, Afterwards the Frame Over Heats reducing total AP to 2 for One round.
You are in the 4th Battalion of the Midgar Defence Corps. Presently located in Highwind over the Cid Mountain Range. You're just barely over the equator so it is rather hot but the altitude keeps it moderately temperate [at least to the point where you can't complain. You're under the command of Shang who has a reputation for being brutal but getting results. Under him, you are under the command of Charlot Aznable who you might have heard of. He's gotten a name for himself for successes in the previous pirate war.
Essentially the campaign as a whole is somewhat like Vietnam [08th Team would even closer], both sides have seen huge movement, essentially the Cents in the last week days have more or less lost territory about the size of China [save scattered pockets of resistance] due to a massive assault by a Federation fleet. Presently you're sitting on what is essentially Stalingrad with the Feds sitting outside waiting for reinforcements. You were probably pulled from the south in a rush to keep things going. Command has been fairly shaken, so soldiers are relatively independent and there is a steady steam of transfers both in and out and within, this allows stuff like sneaking out to drink and so forth for the sake of RP and having fun as well as giving an easy out for why players keep shuffling.

I like him, he's The Straight Man enough to balance out Salvec being... well, Salvec. The two look like they'd be good foils to each other.
Your legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert. This looks truly interesting! I would love to join, and I already have an idea for my frame. The question is, how exactly would I go about discussing it? Do you want me to PM you?
Otherwise, could you sum up the current happenings for the Federation or point me towards a recap page?
Homes verses Moriarty, Aristotle versus MASHY-SPIKE-PLATE!The Feds hit planetside about three or four days ago.
A Co-ordinated strike in Midgar [previously the economic centre of Aeris, strongly pro-Federation] saw Centauri frontline fortifications decimated and surrounded, with what little reserves remained scattered and forced to retreat against a combination of Free Fed forces, Rebellions, Riots and the most recent injection of Frames from the Helios system. At present, the Cents are scattered in Space but hold on to a few key Lagrange points, while on the Planet proper much of Northern Midgar [Imagine roughly China-sized] and a decent portion of Muspel [Also Pro-Federation] are by and large liberated. A few Cent pockets remain but most Cents have headed the call south to the Cid Mountain Range where regrouped they hold a hope in hell against the present Federation onslaught.
The Federation group however are situated in the North against the last major Centauri hold in Midgar north of that mountain range. Defence has been wily and desperate, they are trying to hold a Space Elevator that could hinder Fed Logistics and Bombings while keeping the Centauri battle for orbit and their supply chain going for some time. Currently, the Cents there are up with their backs to the sea waiting for reinforcements by Sea while the Federation is now gambling on a last push to preempt this.
Meanwhile, Centauri PC are dealing with treason, conspiracy and defection as they sit waiting for combat to begin. Though due to a sudden change in the roster of players, many are starting off fairly clueless as to the logistics involved.

Okay then!
Pilot Name: Gene Kurobaki
Callsign/Title: Creed
Side: Federation of Man
Gender: Male
Age:27
Appearance: Reddish-brown hair, not done in any sort of style. He commonly wears a digital eye-piece (basically a scouter but less bulky) tinted blue. He wears a survival vest over his dark-green shirt with kaki cargo pants. He has brown eyes.
Personality: Gene is... Gene. He can be somewhat excitable, and isn't afraid to speak his mind, but also is sometimes prone to awkward moments, where he can't find the right approach. As a side note, he is somewhat of a gamer, and into some anime and manga. Reflecting this, he has a habit of playing music during combat.
Backstory or other information: Gene was born in a small town, and never had any drive to enter the military. However, required service dragged him into this, and after getting behind the controls of a frame-sim, he was hooked. He soon applied for the position of test piloting the newest frame models. It was then he meet L-rachne, and it was magical. Eventually, he was deployed as one of the first official pilots for the field application of the model.
Frame Model: L-rachne
Armaments:I'm not entirely sure as to what I'm looking for, could you make suggestions?
Appearance: Shaped like a large spider, the main color is a dark green, with some lighter high-lights. The vizer is somewhat narrow, with a vertical split, giving two "eyes."
Size:Light
Upgrades/Customization: Experimental stealth System (Stat suggestions welcome)
I'm getting off for tonight, but I'll be on again tomorrow. You send me some suggestions, and I'll edit accordingly.

Homes verses Moriarty, Aristotle versus MASHY-SPIKE-PLATE!1) Here are your frames.
2) Sol Federation, or just Federation.
3) You can find the armaments on the page of whatever frame you choose, as well as the size.
4) Also, remember that the RP takes place... quite a while into the future. IIRC, the Final Fantasy series have gone into the hundreds by this point. If you're a gamer, you might want to take note of that. Unless you're really, really into archaic gaming devices. With controllers. Pfft. Dinosaur-trollers, am I right?

More or less what Rena said below, however while I'd strongly recommend looking over the frames, if you haven't yet, I do accept and try to work in Prototypes, provided they aren't redundant with something we have.
As it stands, I have a request from a potential Fed Player to adapt the Ball like Shark into a land capable Frame. Considering one of the non-player characters was armed with a Shark prior to the wiki stating Sharks were space only, this is a necessary re-fitting. The compromise is of course that this sets your weight, capability [I am thinking hindered flying but capable of hanging] and armaments [Claws and Laser Weaponry]. Stealth seems like the likely enhancement though it is fairly standard to both sides, though RAT Os might be worth your consideration. L-Rachne of course is also unlikely to be the name of the whole line, though off the first batch, it may be the L-Model or design.
Federation of Man might be an ideological statement, but this is a series with Absent aliens. Give or take an off hand reference to Insectile Aliens who have yet to be confirmed as such in canon [though they are mentioned]. All factions are simply people who've settled different planets and are now coming into conflict due to the sudden availability of FTL to allow faster colonization.
Also, yeah, it's 1000 years in the future. Canonically you are psyched about the recent release of Final Fantasy XCVIII. Most Nintendo Franchises [and Japanese franchises and companies in General] ran to Centauri. If you have any interest in old videogames, it's as a hobbist who reads the equivalent of Shakespeare [ie. English and Earth Culture shortly prior to divergences due to the development of sleeper ships and beginning of the exodus].
Now my own stuff,
Gene's a bit of an odd name. I'll accept it [I've accepted weirder], it just hits me as a bit odd and I'm wondering if there's a reason.
Why does he wear the digital eye piece exactly? As an eye operated computer it'd be fairly inconvenient for day to day life. Maybe he dons it for reading or searching the web but I can't imagine it being worth the distraction to always wear.
Also, the Federation has a uniform, so the rest works as casual wear if he put in the effort to pack it but as a military grunt, day to day is in a Fed uniform.
Otherwise, he seems good. If you have to name a home planet later, try not to make him from Terra. There's plenty of Terran planets on the wiki, so few of which outside of Earth and Luna get any natives amongst the P Cs.

Hmm, I'm looking over the frames, and not only do none of them really scream out to me, I feel a bit...estranged. This type of system is new to me, so this may take some getting used to.
Otherwise, I don't have any obvious choice for frame, so maybe you could make a suggestion?
Sorry, the Federation of Man was a little reference to Warhammer 40k's Imperium inspired by the Holier than thou mention in the first page of the thread.
I actually was thinking "old" games, but if that doesn't work I could drop it
As for the name, no real reason, just what came to me.
The eyepiece was something I put in for a quirk, and also I just thought it would be somewhat cool

Homes verses Moriarty, Aristotle versus MASHY-SPIKE-PLATE!Modified Land Shark, possibly Spider themed is something that could be done.
Combat is fairly simple, usually officers will break down advice. If you're fresh meat, hanging back for advice will make sense, but I try to make it as intuitive as possible.
To Federation of Man, I was just clarifying.
Old Videogames mark you as an odd hobbist, like someone who reads Shakespeare for fun. It works, I was only making sure you were forwarned that you'll stand out.
The eye piece I'm wary off, I'd say either make it a personal computer using Hawkings style tech that you only wear during your free time or else make it just blue glasses or something.

That was me being a smartass.
But are you really going to tell me that all Real Robot pilots hate strawberries?
You bastard.
I am become Death, Destroyer of Miniputts.
