"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyDepends on our character influx, but if convenient coincidence will bless me it may be Friday, around 9PM GMT.
If we cant get suitable cast it will be pushed back.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?Well, it's all strewn throughout this thread across the pages, but if you want I can compile them into one PM that I'll fire off your way tomorrow.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?Ooooo, interesting. I think I need to shake this up a bit.
- Name: Gorbat Ironhead
- Race: Orc
- Class/Role: Mechanic
- Abilities: Gorbat can practically fix any kind of machine, weapon, or vehicle he finds. Given enough time and material, he can also build them (although don't expect anything pretty). This also means that, given the chance, he very good at sabotaging equipment as well. Being an Orc, he is also naturally strong, tough, and skilled in hand to hand combat. He's also a skilled driver, although in this sense it means he can drive several different vehicles, how he drives them is left to be desired.
- Description: Large, heavily muscled, and green, just like very other Orc. He looks to be in his thirties, completely bald, dark red eyes, and huge yellowing teeth than poke out of his mouth. His usual outfit is an oversize fatigues shirt and brown pants, filled with pockets covered with his clan armor and symbols, alongside a comfortable looking pair of work boots. His right eye had been replaced with a bionic one, which looks less like a eye and more like a camera/scanner jammed into where the eye once was (which all things considered, he probably made himself). A long scar runs from the top of his head down the right side of his face to his chin, which had been held together with staples and never removed even after the scar had healed.
- Personality: Like many of his kind, Gorbat is simple, blunt, and single minded. Despite being not very bright in most subjects, he excels at machines. He's light hearted (for an Orc) and very much loves to joke around, but once the sound of battle reaches his ears he turns into the grim and violent state of mind you expect from his race, who wants nothing more than to rip your limps off and beat you with it. He is a massive pack rat and will often carry his tools and spare parts on his person, rarely caught unprepared.
- History: Gorbat was raised in a large Orc clan, taught the skills all Orcs must learn (mostly how to beat peoples heads in), and had a normal life growing up (which involved being pushed around by the bigger Orcs and pushing around the smaller Orcs). When his clan was pulled in by the Event, the was a period were he took part in raiding the human cities nearby, until he and the rest of his clan were defeated and reeducated into society (which probably involved several blows to the head). He quickly found a niche repairing vehicles, and that skill quickly expanded.
- Recent History: Gorbat had been approached by the USSR for his unique skills, and gladly accepted since they were the only ones that took his skills serious (most Orks had few career opportunities beyond physical labor or as a thug anywhere else). To keep his employment a secret, he has been enlisted as a soldier and spends his off duty time working on top secret weapons and vehicles. This leads into a interesting situation where he builds and live tests his own weapons.
- Other Important Notes: Gorbat always carries his tools with him (as already noted), his favorite a particularly large pipe wrench almost as long as his arm, which you probably would not find in any store. It's also his favorite melee weapon and back scratcher (although a meat tenderizer he once found is a good second.)

Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeLuke: Character accepted.
After much deliberation and discussion on how to make the character work, I regret to say that it has been decided Dragon573's application has been rejected.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?Alright, I ended up with a similar concept as I originally planned, but somewhat lighter, and with less breakage potential.
Name: Garret Dewdrinker
Race: Halfling
Class: Mage with single target focus, some charm and illusion magic in addition to damage dealing. He's also able to teleport
Physical Description: Standing at just below 4 feet tall with messy head of brown hair and an almost chronically pleasantly nonplussed expression on his face, Garret surely isn't one to strike terror into the heart of men. His brightly colored robes doesn't exactly make it easier to take him seriously, although not doing so might be a bad idea. The long dagger shaped like a leaf could also hammer the point home, but he usually keeps it in its sheath when he's not using it.
Personality: Garret is... a bit weird, to say the least, he's easily distracted by pretty much anything, especially bright and shiny things, which can capture his interest for quite a while at a time. When he's not distracted in such a way, though, he tends to be relaxed and somewhat goofy. He also tends to be a bit on the naive side.
History: Garret got his powers shortly after the Event, the young halfling managed to stumble his way into the freshly established court of a Summer Fae. Instead of enslaving or driving the young halfling mad, as was normal, the Fae found herself sufficiently amused by Garret's upbeat naivety to grant him a modicum of power, in exchange for a favor to be named later. Not one to turn down a gift, Garret accepted
Recent History: After gaining powers, Garret spent quite a bit of time just wandering from place to place, enjoying life and staying out of trouble as best he could, needless to say, he did a so-so job at this, not that he let it bother him. What did, eventually bother him though, was the rising tensions. Although he never got close to understanding just exactly what's going on, he set out to see what he could do to spread the mellow a little, in his own words.
Other Info: His powers all leave behind a pleasant smell of fresh flowers and rainy days. The dagger is the focus for his power. His teleport is limited to line of sight.
That's about it, unless I've forgotten something.

Liveblog | DeadblogAs long as its not too overpowered, and it'll have to be Roleplayed out with other P Cs.
Is there any distance limit on the teleportation?
Pretend there's something clever written here. The world just... just needs some love, man!
Approved, cant wait to see Ic lol
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?May I, er, be allowed two characters? I could just play the second one, but I like this idea I've had.
- Name: Michael Bleacher
- Aliases: Agent Bleacher
- Race: Human
- Class/Role: Agent
- In-class abilities: Skilled with negotiation, small arms (rarely used), technology.
- Physical Description: A well-kept, dark haired man of intermediate age, past his early youth. Usually clean shaven. Moderately fit, but not exactly an athlete.
- Clothing: Dresses usually in dark clothing (suits and the like) which he's well aware make him stand out- Which is partially the point, since being a concealed officer is not his job. Always carries a cellphone.
- Personality: Serious minded and a bit stuck up, not at all inclined to go partying or slacking off. However, he dresses incredibly lazily when outside of work. Dislikes those who try to solve problems with violence.
- History: When the event occured, he was only a child in midwestern America, but he never came to accept them as being part of this Earth, despite all the time that has passed. While not exactly in favor of their removal, he's definitely not in favor of integration. Later became an investigator for the new Magical Crimes department of Interpol. He's worked for most of his life in small cases that cross borders.
- Recent History: He was assigned on the case of an elf cannibal/murderer named Sacame Loilas, the Devourer, and has followed the elf's trail to Veneficus.
- Other Important Notes: He has a handgun, but almost never has it on him- It turns him from a man in a suit to a target.
- Name: Sacame Avemedian Loilas
- Aliases: The Devourer
- Race: Elf
- Class/Role: Devourer
- In-class abilities: The ability to warp and control wood and plants (minor), regeneration from the eating of sentience as well as (rumored, probably untrue if the GM team desires) the acquisition of their memories/intelligence from the same.
- Subclass, alternate classes, or unrelated abilities: Elfin glamour, the ability to project illusions. Work better on those not paying attention or with low will.
- Physical Description: Similar to many elves (of his type, anyways), he is shorter than the average human and smaller physically, with slightly longer arms and legs and a proportionately thinner neck and long blond hair, the only hair on his body. He rarely uses that form, though, instead preferring to travel using illusions as a human- Usually a hispanic male, but changing whenever he travels to a different location.
- Clothing: Whatever strikes his fancy, but his true form wears a simple woven shirt and trousers, nothing special or fancy save for a wooden bead necklace.
- Noteworthy things: His teeth stay the same no matter what form he takes- White and sharp.
- Personality: A cunning and tricksy killer, he has little taste for morals and a very large taste for humanity. He sees nothing wrong with his actions, having- at first- killed all the sentients he ate in what to his kind was a 'legal manner', but now kills and eats people for the fun of it, seeing the pursuit the governments have after him as a fun game, the rules of which only he knows. Laid back and relaxed most of the time.
- History: His original home is unknown, but he has subsequently traveled the world on a killing spree that has claimed at least a score of victims in a couple of years.
- Recent History: Came to Veneficus to try and seek sanctuary in what he heard was a haven for New World creatures, only to find it collapsing around him. He doesn't really mind.
- Other Important Notes: He's a cannibal, if that wasn't clear. Also he might just possibly be totally ripped off from inspired by Dwarf Fortress.
