"I do not see any need to engage these creatures. They appear to be harmless. If they intended to harm us, they would have done so by now. Just let them pass and we can continue." Zodiac, for those who haven't been paying attention, wasn't much for common sense.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyOne of the beetles lunged at Claude.
The beetles seemed to be marching towards the area Ramon had been. Several made screeching noises when they encountered Ramon's blood.

It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.Emerging from one of the chambers was a squat, dark metallic green mechanoid, with six chitinous limbs and two mechanical, humanlike arms. In the very centre of the vehicle was a clear, water-filled tank, where a decidedly inhuman fishlike creature sat, tentacles and pseudopods wavinig in agitation as it took in its new surroundings.
"Where am I, where?" it said, the voice apparently filtered through the speaker at the front of the robot suit.
"I believe picking one up counts as disturbing them. Which I just said not to do. If you'll excuse me," He walked over to the newcomer, in "her" crab mech. "Hello there! Another addition to our collection of lost souls, I see. I am Zodiac."

Where this island is, we have no idea. But you and I, along with a variety of others, have been transported here by unknown means."
