Alternate Character Interpretations for Dualistic Deities

So I'm coming up with a Fantasy Pantheon for a story I'm brainstorming out, and one of the things is that the primary domains of each deity tend to be opposites, and since they're a globally worshiped pantheon, I imagined each culture and even individual might come up with their own interpretations on expanded domains.

Also, general advice for this pantheon is welcomed, I also encourage people to post their interpretations before reading what other people have posted in order to maximize the alternate interpretation-ness

The gods (who are presently nameless) are as follows:

- Goddess of Death and Life (Chief Deity)

- God of War and Peace/Diplomacy

- Goddess of Nature and Magic (which is sort of considered something surreal and unnatural in this world, but the union in the goddess is what results in elemental and nature magic)

- God of Lies/Secrets and Truths

- God of Wisdom and Ignorance (Is presently MIA, not even the other gods know what happened to him)

- Goddess of Evil and Good (She seemed to have lost sight of the 'good' half of herself and is currently sealed away)

Well, I can imagine a war god who one culture sees as violent, but another sees as direct and dynamic, while the god of peace is controlling and suppressive.

A god of truth may be one who inquires too much, who exposes people, while the one for secrets lets people be private and not investigated. Or for another culture, they are warped by lies and deceits, while the god of truth tries to expose it.

Also, there's no reason you can't mix genders with the same deity. That might even add more contrast.

[up] I like the idea of mixing up genders, like some cultures who might believe more strongly in tactical warfare and such characterizing him/her as a Lady of War.
