Auto-Tune vocals complete and ready to use. Insert pig squeals, breakdowns, random drum bashing and synth where appropriate. (Also, the Auto-Tune was set to A minor, so Bound By the Moon and synth guy, STAY AWAY FROM A MINOR AT ALL COSTS.)

I'll probably wait for the drums first, so I at least have a general idea of when to play.

[up] Having the drums be the very last thing recorded could add to the suckiness though, I guess. Also, I sort of want to add backing vocals to this - since I just discovered my screaming abilities, I think I'd be shrieking along with the last couple words of randomly chosen lyrics for emphasis.

I like the "label sampler" idea a lot by the way. It'd lend itself to more diverse styles of awfulness, and people could come up with fake short bios for the liner notes and everything.

I could just start recording now, unless you have any specifics about tempos.

I can deliberately ruin one of my own songs if you all want.

Otherwise I'm going to have to back out, since this'd take some time.

We are going for total ear rape, right? Because that's what I did.

I would like to be credited as Boosh Bawoosh featuring the Fat Chinese Sluts Orchestra.

So I tried to hit all the major points here.

  • Really damn long (20 minutes) and repetitive.
  • excessive panning to the point of ear rape
  • absurdly fast drums that are looped poorly and play in only one channel at a time
  • a huge amount of clipping
  • high pitch to the point of near squealing.

Did I miss anything?

[up][up] Haven't got any more tempo specifics in mind, go ahead and record if you want.

[up] Sounds like a "good" track (and we need more stupidly long things), upload it when you can.

Re-edited "Surpise Sex" with appropriate tags and random reversing dickery.

Also, made this while that was uploading.

I think we should have some horrible-but-listenable tracks à la The Shaggs between the earaping tracks.

Forgive me, Allfather, for I have sinned. Make the silent bit in the middle longer if necessary, since there's some non-guitar stuff going on in there.

I'm working on arranging my vocals with the guitar. I just need Lordnecronus to record his vocals and then I can slot them in in appropriate places. (Also, whoever did the synth for the Dyslexic Asian songs, get to making some terrible eurodance beats and a piano part.)

Oh, by the way, I'm making a Troper Works page for this, under the name of "The TV Tropes Awful Music Collective".

Niiiiice. Even better: see if we can make John Harvey Tillinghast real!

Oh, by the way: TheTVTropesAwfulMusicCollective. It might be a good idea for everybody to go on there and put what you play and what songs you're on.

Do I actually need to have listened to deathcore in order to program the drums? I have The Red Chord.

Also, I thought "Blvck" counted as a song. sad

Also only people who have actually contributed to the project so far may appear in the participant list IMO.

Nope, just program a blast beat with double bass, snare and hi-hat, because anything else isn't brutal. We'll need a dance beat too.

And yeah, maybe it should only be people who've contributed so far. Who hasn't?

Wait, what tempo is "U Ain't Christian" supposed to be? I could just do it in some random tempo, but come on.

[up] It's not too late at all, I'll add you to the list in the OP if you want.

Anyway, I've been trying to work on those br00tal gr0wls, but they're not coming out right. I'll see if I can get my voice into better shape soon.

Does it matter at all whether or not I've listened to the track?
