"I'm so happy you have your priorities in order."
Von Geist was used to threats from the others. A look here, an implication there. Sometimes out and out declarations of violent intent, such as just there. He had a thick skin.
He decided he'd take a stab at a constructive suggestion. If only because his curiosity was starting to get the better of him.
"Perhaps explaining just who this fellow is would prove cathartic? I'm sure we're all dying to hear the details."
Kate managed to blow the doors clean off of the hinges. The door itself flew into the room, and the heavy metal slab landed on a krogan guard to the salarian. He was the last one left.
The salarian's last words before he flew into the wall may have been heard as 'shit.'
Kate ran up to the salarian and grabbed him by the throat.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Sad, really. That a fellow human and a fellow German could be so... lateral. Inelegant. Blowing up a door instead of unlocking it. Oh well.
Sighing to himself, he looked back down at the poisoned turian, giving the creature another prod in its side with the tip of a boot. This time harder. More like a kick, really.
Going against his finely tuned sense of self-preservation, Von Geist casually followed Kate inside the room, disinterested gaze falling to the door. And the krogan curshed underneath it.
"If you're going to question him, you should release your grip on his throat. It tends to impede the interrogation process if the victim cannot speak."
"Again. Grip on throat. An answer won't be easily forthcoming."
Was this some form of torture? Von Geist hoped so. He was honestly starting to worry that he was one of the few beings aboard the Ozymandias that could enjoy the pleasures of grinding down others through pain and suffering. Granted, his interests had an academic basis, but he still enjoyed his work.
"Though maybe you should give it a chance to speak. It could have valuable intelligence. Or perhaps it's someone of worth. Potential bargaining chips should not be disregarded."
Kate loosened her grip slightly and subtlely.
"I..... don't know what you're talking about!"
"Don't bullshit me. My parents."
"You mean the ones you called 11 and 12?"
That earned him getting his head smashed against the wall.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me."Trust me. He knows. And I know I'm never going to get an honest answer out of him. He sent me to kill my parents. He told me they were Cerberus scientists."
"I didn't make that up!"
Kate let him go and he dropped to his hands and knees.
"How about this, you will beg me to spare your life. And if I feel generous, I will."
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.The smash of its head against the wall earned a sound of approval from Von Geist. This was becoming entertaining.
"My alien friend, it would be wise to beg. Our fair Miss Morano is... unpredictable. She may decide killing you quickly would be unfitting."
Shrugging, a very enthusiastic grin crossing his features, "She may even hand you off to me. Wouldn't that be fun? We'd get to find out how your species' famous hyperactive metabolism holds up with a decreasing number of organs to support it."
Deimos briefly glanced over at Von Geist. And I thought Horan was batshit insane...
"Bastard. Sending someone to kill their own parents is horrible, no matter how you twist it." he said, looking back over to Kate and the salarian.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEgWhile the others rushed into the room, Marik hung back and took care of the poisoned turian. "You're lucky I have some antidote on me. Otherwise, you'd be a dead turian for sure." He applied the antidote to the wound, then sealed it up carefully. Hopefully, this should help him last for a while. At least until I could get him to the med bay.
