The issue occurs for me: never on IE7, never on my old IE8, sometimes on my new IE9, but not consistently.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I made a thread for this before, but it was in Wiki Talk. Anyway, try clearing your cache. In Firefox, it's Tools > Clear Recent History. Google for how to do it in other browsers.
If that doesn't solve it? Learn to check the timestamps on your watchlist and remember when you last checked.

“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”I'm having this problem on both Firefox, and IE 7, when I brows the internet with my Ipod, the red dots are there though. does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoJust accessed my watchlist from another laptop, also running Firefox with the same addons but under XP and the dots appear properly. The YKTTW ticks still don't, however...
Is this a Win7 problem?
Also, I just discovered that I have a 3.* Firefox while 4.0 has been out for a month now. Maybe upgrading will help, have to try it out when I get home...
I was starting to get some odd image caching results again this morning. Not sure if it's related.
That's cute, refreshed my cached copy of the page (Ctrl-F5) and now my avatar is blank.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Oh, now the red dots disappeared on this laptop, too. Worse: I saw the red dots next to the discussion pages of the tropes I just launched, but after I refreshed the page with Ctrl-F5, they are gone, too...
EDIT: Oh, stratch that. The red dots are back but only for the new discussion pages.

Huh, the wiki is still behaving really weirdly when I force-refresh, but since it works fine most of the time I'm not that concerned about it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It's weird. When I switched back to my home laptop, I could see red dots again. Let's see if it sticks...
Also, some images won't load for me right now, such as Fast Eddie's avatar.
EDIT: Oh, now the images are back. And the red dots, too. ^^ Problem solved... Or Is It?

I've been offline since Monday and when I came back yesterday, I noticed that edited (bumped) articles on my watchlist are no longer marked with red dots like they used to be (now they're all black). This happened occasionally before but now it does all the time.
I suspected it had to do with cookies, so I deleted all of them and got known from scratch but it didn't solve anything. I am using the latest Firefox on Win7 with CookieSafe, NoScript, and RequestPolicy installed (though tvtropes.org is cleared in all of them).
This might be related: I am having similar trouble with YKTTW for a month or two now, wherein new YKTTWs are not marked with a check (but new replies to them are). It's rather weird, actually, since when I load the page, the check mark images appear briefly and disappear again as if hidden with JS.
PS: I searched the forum for "watchlist" but didn't find anything similar...
