The light did not dissipate, nor did it explode, send poison, summon a monster, or do other booby-trapish things. Instead as DR. B approached the top of the ramp, he would find that the "twinkling" were actually words being brought up and around the crystal, in some unknown language. At the bottom where these words were disappearing, were two boxes. One was [YES] with a grey outline, and the other was [NO] with a white outline.
Pokedy Poke-poke"Hello?" He said out loud. "Little help?"
He couldn't read the words as they were written in a language he couldn't read, but he figured it couldn't hurt to try asking for help in understanding it. No doubt it was a question, but he didn't feel keen on trying to pick either box without knowing what the question was.
With certain words starting to become understandable, Dr. B took a closer look at what was there to try to figure out what all was being said, hoping that if he looked at it long and hard enough and if he ran what he was seeing through his brain, he might hopefully get a clear enough idea of just what was being said to make an informed decision regarding the boxes.
Without a better understanding of what the words meant, Dr. B wasn't interested in picking one or the other. On the bright side, there was still more of this world he could investigate, and perhaps something he would find elsewhere would provide him a clue with what this was all about.
He turned to walk down the light bridge, preparing to head down to the base of the tower.
The light bridge held firm as he walked down it, nothing changing as nothing was picked. However, there was a sort of rumbling on the other end of the area... As a clouded hand caught the edge of the base, and began pulling itself up. It looked patchy to the point where it wasn't so much made of clouds where it was made of bits and pieces of a cloud, but it had grown into a gigantic size, and was apparently growing even without Dr. B doing anything.
It slowly began to pull itself up, running itself ragged as it did so.
Pokedy Poke-poke"Should have seen this coming." 'Doc' commented to himself as the Cloud Golem pulled itself up. He hadn't gotten any announcement that the cloud creature was dead, so it made sense that it had returned. At least it looked at least as wounded as it did dangerous.
His current positioning not what he would have liked, Dr. B tried making his way to the stairs so he could head down to a lower level. He had a plan to defeat the monster, he just couldn't try to pull it off in with their current positioning.
As Dr. B went down the stairs, there was a soft chiming sound as the skin-colored angel reappeared from it's portal. It looked and saw Dr.B for a moment, giving what sounded like a cheer from behind it's markless face, before screaming in panic as the cloud golemn appeared at the top of the stairs and looked down them with a hefty groan. Suffice to say, the angel thing ran further down the inner tower steps, disappearing into the darkness as the golem yelled in rage and pain above.
Pokedy Poke-pokeThe golemn tried squeezing down the walkway, but found it's size too large to go into it. It groaned as it pulled away, and a few seconds later proceeded to break the platform it was on, crashing down the stairs before landing on the same walkway Dr. B was on. It was nearly half the size of the tower now, yet every second it grew, it seemed to grow more and more thinly stretched...
Pokedy Poke-pokeNow looked to be the chance he had been waiting for. Trying to carefully aim his movements, Dr. B tried tried to turn himself into a human headshot by jumping directly through the Cloud Golem's 'head', swinging his staff at the area around it as he went and trying not to land in any way that would get him killed.
Dr. B's jump was slightly short, his head shot going through the creatures chest instead. As he passed through the creature, the whirling winds would toss and tussle his character, spitting him right back to where he was like a slingshot. However, it unmistakeably did it's job as the creature roared out for a few moments, and exploded into a cyclone of wind... all aimed either up the tower, down the tower, or out the tower and right at Dr. B.
Pokedy Poke-pokeTrying to keep from getting thrown off the tower and making his efforts be for nothing, Dr. B did his best to either stick his pole into an open crack somewhere so he could hang onto it or otherwise grab on tight to something on the level which he could use to keep himself from getting blown around till the wind dissipated.
As the staff struck into the ground, it rather forced itself into the earth and created an anchor for Dr. B to hold onto. The wind blew for a long time, and even launched the the poor angel monster skyward and disappearing with a twinkle. After a short time, it all calmed downed and eventually Dr.B would find himself free to move where-ever he wanted.
Oh, and there was a yellow chest before him.
Pokedy Poke-pokeWith the wind gone, Dr. B was surprised that yet again, there was no sign of XP from having apparently beaten the cloud golem. At least there was an apparent reward for his troubles. Tapping it with the end of his staff to make sure it wasn't a chest monster or anything of the sort first, he prepared to open it and see what his reward was.

Content with the monster having been dealt with, or at least with the fact that it wasn't bothering him anymore, Dr. B returned his attention to the room he was in. Going over to the blue light ramp, he examined it to figure out what its purpose might be.
