Now that's what I call a Curb-Stomp Battle. Assuming he tries to fight us.
Bonus points if he only has a team of weak Pokémon like Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, Poochyena, Bidoof and Patrat.

That reminds me Luke, did you ever get around to updating our Pokemon images?
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.I plan on exploring the relationship between Dialga, Palkia and the Lake Trio somewhat during the AU arc. I imagine Palkia and the Lake Trio would probably have a hard time accepting that there is nothing they can do about their own brother eventually betraying them. This will lead to the scenario we discussed earlier, with Palkia showing up to try to stop Dialga when Cyrus begins forcing him to change the timeline, and eventually causing Dialga to lose control of his power for a moment, creating the Alternate Timeline.
Well of course Palkia wouldn't be happy about what's happening to Dialga. She is his sister. In fact, I imagine she's not very happy right now, due to the fact that everyone's shunned Dialga for something he hasn't even done yet, even going as far to lock him away from everyone!
No wonder she drinks so much.
Luke, you took the words right out of my mouth.
She's probably banned from visiting Dialga now because of what he is going to do and that's just unfair and mean. Maybe she just wants to say something to him, at least to say goodbye or whatever.
Please consider supporting my artwork on PatreonI'm planning a scene showing Palkia having a conversation with the Lake Trio about how unfair it is for Dialga to get grounded for something he hasn't even done yet, only for Uxie to remind them that Dialga himself agreed to be locked away for the time being. Despite having been told that You Can't Fight Fate, Palkia would want to make an attempt to Screw Destiny anyways.
I also imagine that Uxie and Mesprit would try to talk her out of it, while Azelf on the other hand would be all in favor of Palkia trying to stop it from happening.
My only real ideas for the AU arc involve Scolipede and his minions so far. Eelektross is the Mad Scientist, Bisharp is the executioner, Bouffalant is the bodyguard, Cofagrigus is the main enforcer or something, Seismitoad spends his time screwing around in the polluted waters and attacking people who try to swim, and Hydreigon has been supersized by Eelektross.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Oh, clearly. Mesprit understands where Palkia is coming from, Uxie knows it's not a good idea, but Azelf's free will so she wants Palkia to do whatever she believes is best.
Please consider supporting my artwork on PatreonI never said that Palkia would free Dialga, Crewe. Just go into his room/quarters/dimension and find him all chained down and such. She's not stupid, she just wants to talk to him.

Please consider supporting my artwork on PatreonI was thinking Palkia would show up after Cyrus begins forcing Dialga to change the timeline. However, Palkia will be indirectly responsible for creating the dimension where the legendary Pokémon get sealed up during the AU arc, (which she planned on using to trap Cyrus) which then gets altered based on (Primal) Dialga's memories when the alternate timeline is created to resemble the Bad Future of the PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky games somewhat.
Egbert would probably have to stay behind and be Slouch's translator, Riptide would stay behind to protect them, and everyone else would just be part of La Résistance.

Well, Anom's Scolipede and Artemis the Liepard have somehow taken over the world in the alternate timeline, and they are ruling it from what was once Team Plasma's castle in Unova.
La Résistance, consisting of mostly random Pokémon from our teams has their base in the Battle Subway.
Cyrus is keeping Primal Dialga and Shadow Celebi in the Giant Chasm, after having kicked out Kyurem and locked him away with most of the other legendaries.
And all the gym leaders in Unova have been replaced with Zoroark that are impersonating them.
I don't really know about the other regions. I guess one of the reasons I haven't thought much about that is because most of the characters I'll be controlling during that arc are in Unova during it.
I think the others may have some ideas about that, though.

Well, all of the characters would probably be a little hard to do, with the timezones and all, but most of the cast would do.
I was thinking something among the lines of having the trainers having to battle some members of a villainous team or something, only for the room they're in to eventually get so crowded that they realize they can't engage in battle without their Pokémon tripping over one another, forcing them to move the battle outside.
Or by having the trainers run into a small group of members of a villainous team, who would run off to warn their boss while telling one member to stay behind and hold us off, to which that member would probably be like: "... You've got to be kidding."
